Smaller than other arena venues, so not as susceptible to the after-show crowding and chaos that is common at newer mega venues. Accessible parking. A wide selection of basic food stalls in the entrance hall and adequate toilet arrangements.

Size: 5/5 Price: 3/5 Concessions: 3/5 Parking: yes Disabled access: yes Absolutely love this arena but it has gotten super expensive over the last few years. My favourite thing here would be the hot doughnuts. A must whenever I visit. We recently went to see Busted and it was absolutely amazing. There is a small amount of parking and several multi storey car parks nearby. It was horrid trying to get parking nearby however, even well over an hour before the doors were due to open so we opted to park a bit further away and walk there. It was pretty quick and efficient getting into the building though the amount of people made it difficult to move about inside. There definitely needs to be some kind of queueing system for merchandise as well because it was ridiculous how long we stood there and how many people jumped the queue and were served before we were. Not to mention how long we were ignored for at the front of the desk. Other than that, it was a fab night and we had a great time!

Disney on Ice was excellent, very well produced and world class skating. Aerial was my favourite. Lucky we could space ourselves out in the empty seats or it would have been very uncomfortable. Also prices are insane. £14 for a slush drink is extortion. The arena staff were pretty relaxed about covid with a quick question have you had a jab. Er yes, get ya self in then

Great experience, friendly and helpful floor staff. Easy to find my seat and a great view of the stage. Food and drinks were slightly expensive £2.50 for a 60p, 500ml bottle of water. Nevertheless I didn't have to queue anytime during my visit. The arena acoustics were spot on as well. Great visit and I'll definitely be back.

Reviewing the arena itself not the acts. Overbearing arrogant security staff. Shocking prices across the board, there’s literally NO NEED apart from greed to charge what they charge for a beer or a 1/4 of Chicago town stuffed crust pizza (you could buy 2 full ones for the price of a slice) Flat out greed as are most concert venues. Peter Kay was legit though, so quickly forgot about the corporate hunger.

Sound system is good, security is a bit heavy, bar prices are insane, £4.10 for a 330ml bottle of coke, about £9 a pint, £5.80 for two bottles of water.

When we arrived, we didn’t expect the length of time to enter due to extra security, so this would have been worth mentioning when booking to ensure this time was taken into account. Don’t attempt to take in any of your own food & drink as this will 100% get confiscated from you on entry - all bags are searched. Once inside, there were plenty of places to get served for food & drink, so queuing is minimal. Plenty of toilets available and again, queues shorten down quite fast. The show itself was fantastic! Easy to find seats & plenty of staff on hand to help where needed. Forgot how tight of a squeeze the seats are together! The biggest downfall was when the show was over, they had EVERYONE exit the building through the main exit/entry point instead of opening the numerous side exits. This did cause some slight distress as had there of been any fire alarms or emergencies, there would have been an inevitable amount of panic and trampling as a result!!! So this definitely made me nervous when leaving & would make me reconsider going again for a show!

Although getting a little dated still a great venue to attend a concert. Covid restrictions were certainly in place during this visit and the majority of people were adhering to these. Staff were extremely helpful and when we had a slight problem with our seats the staff member in our area came and rectified this straight away. Drinks/ food seemed overpriced but we were aware of this before attending. A real downside was the route everyone had to take on leaving - quite dark, crowded and barriers in the way that were not easy to see! A real bug bear is the attendees who seem to insist on taking their seats a few minutes after the concert started then needing to leave again after a few minutes to go to the bar!!

There are days when is a quick, smooth processes of getting the people inside of the building, and there are days like this one, when we had to wait 1.5h to get in. The staff inside is very polite and helpful. Thank you for creating such a big show again in our city.❤️ 💛 💗

Good place for events, lights and great sound. Food is over priced and bad quality. Toilets are subpar.

The venue is managed well and the staff were fantastic. However I found climing and descending the concrete steps a risk for older people. The seating is very close together and you become intimate friendly with the visitors sat either side of you. Seating was very tight . The seats were £79.00 each so I thought it would have more comfortable.

I enjoyed seeing madness at the arena. I wish that the seats were a little wider. I am not a size 6. I found the seats a little uncomfortable. It was still a great fun night.

Excellent arena for a rock concert. We seen Whitesnake, Foreigner and Europe and all 3 were great. £16 for 2x25ml one with lemonade and one with slim tonic was a bit steep, although this was the only gripe it didn't take away the enjoyment of the visit to the arena and the gig.

Great venue for music etc .... This time went to see Whitesnake .Europe and Foreigner .. We went early so didn't miss any of the bands ...but a lot of people missed the first act due cues outside.. My advice go early and guarentee to see all the acts also the price for drinks etc is ridiculous...

A cracking arena, but does have its flaws (as does anywhere). The toilets have been needed to be upgraded for years, but once the new Quayside arena is built, hopefully those toilets are in a lot better shape and don't stink of ammonia. The bar is over priced but you kinda expect that. You're looking at £16 for 2 pints. Staff are very helpful though and security are top notch.

Great sized venue. Plenty of concessions and huge bars. Never had to queue for any drinks. Easy to get in and out, with additional doors being opened at the end of the evening. Loads of toilets very handily located. Can't wait for other events here 😉
