Traditional Scottish chippie. Stuffs great. Fresh cooked. I used to get chips here when the Baths were down the road (about 55 years ago) and still enjoy a fish tea. The special fish supper is huge but amazing.

Just had a sausage supper and my son had a portion of chips. Happily answered my question about allergies (thank you) and the service was friendly and fast. The chips were delicious, crisp on outside and fluffy inside. Sausages were coated with just enough batter, not too greasy either. Best chippy in Paisley!

A wee local fish and chip takeaway and restaurant, absolutely gorgeous fish and chips. Great price. Service was fab. The girls were great. Would highly recommend.

This is a great little cafe which is attached to a fish and chip shop. You will be served traditional food, which I can honestly say is among the best chip shop grub in the entire country! The prices are very reasonable, the service is warm and friendly and the decor is fantastic! Well worth a visit!

Had a fish tea with my mum there tonight. Portions were wow! The staff were lovely and courteous and couldn't do enough for you despite being run off their feet. Lots of nostalgia. Used to frequent some Saturdays when I was a little girl with my mum and aunt after being in the town. Dropped in for chips after being in Paisley storie street baths. Was a real treat!

Place is legendary. I've been going since I was 6/7 yrs old after the swimming baths. Fish tea is famous. Staff are always friendly, and the decor is still very art deco and brings back long-held memories of visits I've made over the past 50 or more years. Highly recommended

Not been here for 46 years. OMG! The memories came flooding back. Food still first class, service fabulous and loved the coal fire. We will defo be back. Thanks guys x

Alan's Snack Bar is an absolute gem, and my recent visit was made even more delightful thanks to the amazing Cameron in the kitchen. His dedication and warmth truly shone through in the delicious dishes he prepared. The atmosphere was fantastic, and it was a truly memorable day. I can't recommend this place enough! Thanks, Cameron and the whole team at Alan's Snack Bar for a wonderful experience

I was in tonight with a friend and had the macaroni cheese and chips. It was delicious and a good portion size too. Service was excellent as well. Will be back for more!
