Best
decision
ever,
what
an
amazing
investment!
So,
I
am
36
years
old
and
have
worn
glasses
since
the
age
of
11.
My
prescription
was
R
-5.75
and
L
-5.25
with
astigmatism.
So
I
could
not
function
without
glasses
or
contact
lenses.
The
consultation
was
extremely
thorough.
I
was
well
examined
to
check
I
was
a
suitable
canditate,
and
the
amount
of
examination
and
tests
done
on
my
eyes
gave
me
great
confidence
before
deciding
to
book
the
surgery.
The
surgery
type
I
received
was
LASIK
Intralase
iDesign.
iDesign
technology
came
out
in
2015
and
improves
the
accuracy
of
the
prescription
down
to
0.01
Dioptres,
where
as
glasses
and
contacts
only
go
to
0.25
Dioptres
on
the
prescription.

On
the
day
or
the
surgery
I
was
at
the
clinic
for
around
2
hours.
My
eyes
were
tested
again,
and
the
iDesign
machine
was
also
used
again
which
devises
the
treatment
plan.
The
surgery
itself
was
very
quick,
from
creating
the
flap
in
the
cornea
using
the
Intralase
machine
to
then
getting
my
eyes
lasered
with
the
Excimer
laser
was
probably
less
than
10
minutes.
The
actual
lasering
itself
was
only
about
20
seconds
on
each
eye.
After
I
got
up
from
the
surgery
bed,
I
could
see
the
same
as
if
I
was
wearing
contact
lenses,
my
vision
was
already
pretty
decent
at
this
stage.
(just
before
surgery
I
took
paracetomol
and
Ibuprofen
I
recommend
you
do
too)
I
then
went
home
and
lay
down,
and
kept
my
eyes
closed
for
about
2
hours,
I
was
unable
to
sleep.
My
eyes
were
a
bit
sore,
just
mild
discomfort,
and
streaming
with
tears.
It
was
difficult
to
keep
them
open.
At
around
the
5
hour
mark
after
surgery
my
vision
was
better
again,
and
there
was
no
pain,
and
my
eyes
were
not
watering
anymore,
so
I
watched
a
bit
of
TV.
I
then
put
the
prescribed
drops
in
and
went
to
bed
(antibiotic,
steroid
and
artificial
tear
drops)
When
I
woke
up
in
the
morning
I
put
the
drops
in
again
(4
times
per
day
for
1
week)
and
immediately
my
vision
was
amazing.
I
can
now
see
in
high
fidelity
4k
without
glasses.
It's
quite
unreal.
I
had
my
follow
up
appointment
the
next
day
and
my
vision
was
better
than
20/20
(it's
20/15)
and
the
cornea
flap
was
healing
perfectly.
I
can
see
at
20
ft
which
most
people
can
only
see
at
15
ft.
I
could
not
be
happier
with
the
results,
it
really
is
a
life
changing
and
incredible
experience.
I
walked
home
from
the
clinic
to
the
Southside
and
I
was
in
awe
at
how
good
I
could
see
