I went to see Dr Chen after I had two failed pregnancies from two FET transfers from my ICIS (IVF) cycle. He advised Acupuncture and Chinese tablets for the first 3 months before my next FET Transfer. I was over the moon when I found out I was pregnant. I never thought it would work in a million years as the past two pregnancies were a failure and had this anxiety it, will be negative again, but no, it was POSITIVE. He also advises continuing the treatment for another 16 weeks to avoid miscarriage. I’m now 19 weeks pregnant and so happy. Everything is going well. I would highly recommend Dr Chen for all ladies; who are having problems conceiving and going through IVF (ICIS). He is very knowledgeable and; a very humble doctor and, there are no sales tactics of purchasing treatment in blocks. He will advise you what you need, and it is up to you to take it aboard.

The acupuncture is known for its benefits, but it very important, rather crucial, who is delivering it to you. I tried different acupuncturists over the years, but I have now been sticking with Doctor Chen for over 5 years and I am happy and confidently saying that he is the best in what he does. I highly recommend trying the acupuncture for any problems you might have, and choose this clinic to look after you. Herbal medicine is the most natural and, if needed, Doctor Chen will prepare herbal teas or give you natural tablets to take, to facilitate your aid and recovery. In November 2022 I acquired an unexplained, unbearable pain in my foot and ankle which was excruciatingly sore to the touch. After a few days unable to put any weight on it I made an appointment with my GP and was diagnosed with Gout which I have never had anytime throughout my life (I am 54). I was given conventional medication which had no effect on the problem only creating a few annoying digestive side effects. After 7 long painful weeks the Gout pain started to reduce and fortunately all but disappeared leaving a constant twinge in my big toe joint. At the end of February 2023 I started to feel a slight familiar pain in the same foot and within 2 days I was back to full on gout with the frustrating unbearable pain. I couldn’t bear to put up with it again so I again visited my GP. The same medication was given which I explained did nothing previously, and I was advised that I should go on a certain medication for the rest of my life. I wasn’t too keen on the idea so thought i'd try an alternative form of treatment. I had received treatment by Dr Chen at Hui Chun Clinic for chronic back pain around 9 years ago and the results were fantastic and long lasting but I wasn’t sure if Gout was treatable. I made an appointment with Dr Chen to discuss if it was and he was confident that a few sessions of acupuncture and medication could relieve my symptoms. After just 2 sessions and medication (a very potent kind of tea) over the space of 6 days I could feel the pain drastically reducing. 3 more sessions and the Gout had disappeared, not just that but I haven’t had a worrying twinge since. Dr Chen in my opinion is a genuinely considerate, talented, competent expert in his field.

I was recommended to Dr Chen through my friend Laura. We had been trying for a baby for 8 years had 3 failed ivfs the best embryos and no success. We had one embryo left in the freezer so went to see Dr Chen in September 2020, I have severe stage 4 endometriosis, so he put me on a combination of herbal tablets and acupuncture once a week and I had to change my diet due to my endometriosis. Covid esp sore throat can benefit from herbal medicine. Got covid in the middle of February suffered a lot at the start of few days from sore throat. My mother has been seeing Dr Chen for over 20 years now, mostly for musculoskeletal pain and issues but also for general health. She has both acupuncture and chinese medicine treatment and find both of them highly effective in relieving her symptoms and pain that western medicine has unfortunately not been able to assist with. Recently I have suspected acute inflammation in my knee causing me unbearable pain leaving me unable to bend my knee and could barely walk. The GP was only able to suggest Ibuprofen & painkillers to relieve the symptoms temporarily and then I was on a phone appointment waiting list for 2 weeks so my mother suggested Acupuncture with Dr Chen. The first day of treatment was a bit painful and for 2 days after the treatment my leg was still uncomfortable. However the 3rd day onwards my knee had drastically improved and I was feeling much better than before. I have since received another 4 sessions of treatment from Dr Chen and find them highly effective in reducing my pain and discomfort symptoms in my knee. My knee is almost back to normal now, I believe it should fully heal with some time and I cannot thank Dr Chen enough for helping with this. To the ladies out there who are struggling to conceive I would highly recommend you visit Dr Chen at the Hui Chun Clinic. I first went to see Dr Chen a few years ago after numerous failed ICSI & IVF treatments. I was ready to give up hope of ever becoming a mum but after reading his article in the paper I thought anything was worth a shot. He was very professional and understanding and prescribed his wonderful tea (Chinese Medicine) along with acupuncture once each week. I'm not going to lie the medicine wasn't the best taste in the world but you do get used to it. After a few months of treatment Dr Chen told me I was ready to try another (final) cycle of IVF which I did and couldn't believe it when they told me I was pregnant. I became so used to getting negative results but now it had actually worked. Dr Chen advised me to continue with treatment until I was between 13 to 15 weeks to reduce the odds of miscarriage. I had a beautiful baby girl and went on to have a baby boy one year later. I am now back at the clinic 4 years on in the hope he can help me one more time. Dr Chen is a miracle worker and I cannot recommend him enough.

I first saw Dr Chen in 2004 as an alternative to IVF after years of trouble conceiving due to endometriosis causing multiple miscarriages. I can whole heartedly say that Dr Chen saved my life after what has been the worst year for me. During pregnancy, a pre-existing skin condition called Topical Steroid Withdrawal became so bad I was bed bound and housebound for the majority of my pregnancy. After the loss of my baby when he was 9 days old, I was at my lowest, I didn’t care if I was alive or dead, my skin was red hot, painful that I barely slept, the itch was unbearable and I had no relief regardless of painkillers etc. I was barely existing and my GP was of zero help. That’s when a mutual contact suggested Dr Chen. Every week since May, I go for acupuncture and I drink the herbal teas daily. I feel like I’ve finally got my life back and his weekly appointments gave me a reason to get up and leave the house when I didn’t want to exist. After finding out that I had premature ovarian insufficiency (extremely low ovarian reserve) at age 33 I was genuinely devastated and shocked. We went to see 2 different fertility consultants who recommended IVF and said a natural conception was highly unlikely. I've visited the Hui Chun Clinic over the past five years, for different reasons and I highly recommend it to anyone. Dr Chen is highly experienced and enjoys his work. I have visited Dr Chen for acupuncture and for herbal remedies when my immune system was low. I was very pleased with the results and recommended it to my friends and family. The clinic is very well equipped with various herbs and treatments. The shop is reasonably big and has a relaxing atmosphere. Also, if you are learning Mandarin, this is a good place to visit to practice during treatment :). There are other clinics near where I live, but none of them match the quality of the Hui Chun Clinic.

After suffering from severe eczema for over a year and gp prescriptions having no effect on me personally, I decided to visit the clinic after reading the positive results other patients have had. Upon using the herbal treatment (which I must warn had a very strong taste) for only a week I noticed impressive differences in the health of my skin. Within 3 weeks my skin was fully clear of eczema altogether! I couldn’t recommend visiting Dr Chen enough!

My husband has been seeing Dr Chen for acupuncture over the last 5 weeks. He had had a very problematic cough for several months. He literally coughed most of the day. He couldn't utter a sentence without coughing through it. He was getting increasingly breathless. He is slim and quite fit so it was quite concerning. At times he was having to sit down to catch his breath. He went to his GP. They gave him antihistamines as they felt it was allergic rhinitis. However they didn't help. He kept returning and they kept trying different things. Things to spray up his nose etc as he felt he had excess mucous running down the back of his nose/throat. They also said he had asthma and put him on a strong steroid inhaler. Nothing worked though. He was barely getting two hours of sleep a night. I had visited this practice many years previously and knew the benefits of Traditional Chinese Medicine so I suggested it to my husband. The difference after the first session of acupuncture was immediate. His coughing was less. By week three there was a significant improvement. Week 4 & 5, no cough. No breathlessness. No need for inhalers at all. He is delighted with the treatment he received from Dr. Chen and has vowed to always use TCM before heading to a GP again.

In November 2017, I reported a number of problems that were unfit for my GP. Arthritis, recurrent ear inflammation, cardiac arrhythmia, sleep problems, general fatigue. After 7 treatments, everything stopped. When I applied to the GP doctor with arthritis changes and severe pain, he only recommended some pain pills and said, what surprised me the most was the "privilege" of the age. W listopadzie 2017 roku zglosilam sie z wieloma problemami , ktore byly dla mojego GP nie do wyleczenia. Artretyzm, nawracajace zapalenie uszu, arytmia sercowa, problemy ze snem , ogolne zmeczenie. Po 7 zabiegach wszystko ustapilo. Kiedy zglosilam sie do lekarza z GP ze zmianami artretycznymi stawow i silnym bolem, zalecil tylko jakies przeciwbolowe tabletki i powiedzial, co mnie najbardziej zdziwilo ze to "przywilej" wieku. A tu pare zabiegow i wszystko zniklo. W tym roku mialam depresje, kolatanie przedsionkow, przewlekle zapalenie zatok.Od sierpnia do listopada czekalam na Ecg - ktore nic nie wykazalo, bo w takim przypadku jest to nie wystarczajace badanie (a kosztuje £143). Potem mialam rowniez Holter na 3 dni, ktory tez nic nie wykazal. Arytmia nie ustapila. Na zatoki zas lekarz probowal podac leki sterydowe na ktore nie wyrazilam zgody, bo po prostu sa szkodliwe. Dr Chen za pomoca akupunktury sprawil ze znowu chce sie zyc . Lepiej by bylo nie placic skladki do NHS a placic tym , ktorzy pomagaja nam najbardziej? Mysle ze gdyby ludzie mieli wieksza swiadomosc jak pracuje nasz organizm i co jest glowna przyczyna chorob, to lekarze w GP zamiast szkodliwych tabletek, polecaliby nam akupunkture. I went to see Dr Chen as i had problems trying to concieve for a long time. There are so many chinese doctors around Glasgow, it was difficult to know which one could help me. I did some research and seen Dr Chen had been in the papers after treating a couple that were unable to concieve. After i read and saw pictures of the many babies he had helped to concieve on his website, i knew i wanted to see him. Even when you walk into the clinic there are many lovely stories and pictures of previous patients he has helped. It gave me hope! I had no regular menstrual cycle and went through 3 failed IUIs and a failed IVF. I was desperate at this stage and was willing to try anything. I seen him weekly for Acupuncture and he also prescribed me dried chinese herbs which i had to boil 5x a week and drink twice daily. I must admit, it was not pleasant to drink but i was determined to stick to it. I took these concoctions to work by using a flask to keep them warm for hours, that was definitely a convenient way to drink them if your not always at home. After about 3/4 months i was pregnant! I truely believe Dr Chen's combination of Acupuncture and herbs helped me concieve! My husband also visited to treat pain in his knee/leg and is no longer feeling pain. I would definitely recommend Dr Chen for any health problems you may have. He's amazing!! Edited on nov 2018. My boy girl twins were born in April this year and happy to say they are almost 7month old now. We have since visited Dr Chen and will keep in touch!

Been taking my daughter to Doctor Chen for past 3 weeks for Severe Psoriasis and after only 3 sessions of acupuncture the results have been astounding .Doctor Chen, s acupuncture has done more for my daughter than all the treatments she has had from her GP. Would recommend Doctor Chen to anyone because he is brilliant at what he does and he makes you feel so welcome and at ease from the moment you meet him.

Dr Chen has always been patient, enthusiastic, and professional. I have attended several sessions of acupuncture for my back issues. The day it hurt the most, I even could not got off the bed. The acupuncture is resolving my issues.

I had been going to my GP for around 7 months with an acne problem. During that 7 months my acne was getting worse by the week.I eventually found DR Chen and on my first appointment he diagnosed me with rosacea, something the GP's completely missed! I have been attending Dr Chen's practice for a few months now (drinking his (not so) lovely tea) and am soooooo happy to report that my skin is back to normal!!!! Currently attending with frozen shoulder,agony even with opiod pain killers.I don’t like taking these strong pain killers so once again I have asked Dr Chen if he could help me. I’ve had several sessions of acupuncture so far so good, thankfully the problem is being resolved. I attended Dr Chen’s Hill Street practise many years ago & thereafter,again, some years back the Gt Western Road practise. On the 1st occasion I had a back problem (Hill St practise) & many years later Sciatica (Gt Western Rd).On both occasions I could hardly walk but after several sessions of acupuncture Dr Chen resolved both health issues.

I could only attend 1 time at this fantastic clinic. Dr Chen makes you feel as if you are in safe hands with his knowledge and expertise with Chinese medicine and acupuncture. I had been in unbearable pain for months, but after just 1 session, I went out for a meal and felt little pain from the trapped nerve in my back.
