Used to go there for lunch, when i worked nearby. It was a welcome return yesterday. Food as good as ever. Real quality sandwiches and Empire Biscuits to die for. Coffee tastes like coffee should. Staff are friendly and service is prompt. Couldn't be better.

The food is limited and pretty basic. Qe each had rolls with a filling of sausage or bacon. It is a compact cafe. You collect your order at the counter. I would prefer if they brought it to the table. The tray bakes are ok but not home made. Nice for a quick bite to eat.

£7.50 for a bacon roll and a coffee! Are you joking? Might have softened the blow if the roll had somehow been epic but the bacon was dry as a bone, no doubt cooked the previous day. They used to do great filled paninis and soups but on the last few visits the paninis are barely filled with a few scraps of chicken and the soup is watered down to maximise profit. A once great cafe which I won't ever return to after today. Bacon rolls in Greggs are excellent and you could pick up your choice of big brand coffee or nip down to Tinderbox and still save money.

I’ve always liked this place, great location and a very good range of coffees and food. The serving staff are always friendly too. So why not 5 stars? They’ve not provided a Wi-Fi service for a good while now, which is pretty basic for a coffee shop. I do feel sorry for the staff as they’ve looked a little embarrassed when I’ve asked if it was a temporary situation. Please provide a Wi-Fi service.

Popped in today to grab a couple of vanilla lattes to go, it was clean, quiet and very reasonably priced. Coffee was great, im a bit picky with coffee but this was smooth and strong and not scalding hot. Will definitely be back

Handy location, and friendly service. My large cappuccino came in a tankard like mug, with what felt like a pint in it, so no shortage of rich tasty brew, and the salted caramel cheesecake was amazing. Just the thing to fortify you on a dull, dreich autumn day.

I like this wee coffee shop. It has a nice relaxed atmosphere, looks clean, nice coffee, good cup of tea, good range of buns and one of the few places in byres Rd area where you can get just an ordinary filled roll for breakfast. Average prices for the area. Comfortably be on your own. Staff are pleasant, smiling and helpful. Highly recommend

First class counter service, great selection of paninis, with clean tables, hygiene perspex partitions between seating tables while still maintaining natural light. Pleasant staff. Good value.

OMG it's so expensive and a disappointing meal. Almost £8.50 for a large latte and a smoked ham and cheese sandwich. Not even a salad garnish or crisps to go with it, just a knife and napkin. The smoked ham was of low quality too, filled with water and lacking sufficient taste. Presentation was poor. Maybe this explains the large row of empty tables and chairs as you walk up to the Coffee to Go sign!

Nice coffee shop, friendly staff, good outside seating area and I like that large means large when it come to the drink sizes (huge goblet of coffee). However, I wish they would take down the covid screens in the seating area. Gives the place a slight quarantine ward vibe.

👍👍 An excellent experience at Miller and Carter tonight. The food came out quickly and was so incredibly delicious - the steak was cooked to perfection and the beef dripping sauce was to die for! All steaks come with house fries they can up upgraded to chunky chips or sweet potato fried but we honestly...
