Cafe Coffee shop

😐 Grain, Grind, and Grumpy! The cute guys working this morning served fantastic coffee and bad attitude: the atmosphere seemed super stressed and we were kind of made to feel 'in the way' when ordering and waiting for our take away coffees... Cheer up guys! It's not all that tough: just smile and tha... People often mention coffee, shop,

Used to love this little place but I think in the scaling up of the business it has lost quite a lot of its original quality - in produce and particularly in service. This happened about a year ago - Over a period of months I was feeling every time I went in a staff member was acting in an unfriendly way towards me so eventually I asked if I’d done something to upset or offend them. This resulted in them melting down into a rage and throwing me out the shop. I literally couldn’t believe it. I didn’t go near the place for a week but went back in to buy coffee (obviously) thinking that she might have settled down a bit and would, like me, think that it was all a bit silly. However she was adamant that I had deliberately gone in to try to attack her and refused to serve me so I left, absolutely stunned after being told that I was now barred from the shop. I can’t tell you how upsetting this was. I called the number of G&G on the website in the hope that I would be able to talk to the owner but he never got back to me. Had always been a huge supporter of G&G in strathbungo since it opened (and the other stores), had always chosen to go there over any of the competition in the area, and can’t even fathom how much £££ I’ve spent there over the years. Extremely sad and disappointing. I would never support this brand never again.

Been going here since they opened but their prices are ridiculous. +£3 for a coffee is insane, SBux and CC can justify this with their cost base alone. GG are getting very commercialised, losing the thing that made them great: local and neighbourhood feel. Very disappointed. Short Long Black's coffee is as good, if not better, and 20% cheaper.

Great service and one must try the brownies. Currently, their brownies are my favorite in Glasgow.

Nice little cafe. Didn’t have any pastries or sweets but they all looked delicious. My tea was great, but I wish they didn’t use a paper cup for the milk. Great location right next to Queen’s Park!

Really good coffee made from people that know about coffee. Good price, excellent value. The good news is - they are expanding the place! Great news for such a good place 😀

Grain and Grind coffee shop served one of the best, strongest coffees I have had in the UK. The coffee went great with their crisp, fresh vegan cinnamon buns (looks more like a Cruffin). Also purchased Marchtown, medium roast coffee beans, got them ground in the shop. Highly recommend this cute coffee shop.

Lovely staff, great coffee, and a cute little seated area in the back. The ground bags of coffee for sale are also very well priced

Good coffee, like the range of beans to take home top, staff are always nice but it's pretty overpriced. Would never get food from there.

👍👍 An excellent experience at Miller and Carter tonight. The food came out quickly and was so incredibly delicious - the steak was cooked to perfection and the beef dripping sauce was to die for! All steaks come with house fries they can up upgraded to chunky chips or sweet potato fried but we honestly...
