👍👍 The owners were nice and welcoming. You can feel the passion in what they’re doing. I enjoyed a decent falafel and Aubergine wrap. Then had a pot of Palestinian tea with basbousa. Would love to try the Egyptian breakfast in my next visit. People often mention Egyptian, friendly, good, service, falafel, delicious, coffee, authentic, staff, great,

Very cozy place to have an early breakfast or midday plater with an aromatic coffee. Really liked the authentic Egyptian breakfast especially foul and aubergine with the homemade dressing. And the best treatment after this breakfast is an Egyptian pot tea with mint leaves.

A gem in the west end! Amazing authentic Egyptian street food, reasonable prices and excellent service. We tried a variety of dishes and it was all delicious! Would recommend their falafel, Hawawshy, baba ghanoush, aubergine and hummus! We also enjoyed an Egyptian tea with mint. There is a great range of sweets and cakes too. The owner and team are all absolutely lovely people, very welcoming and passionate about their culture and authentic food. We look forward to coming back!

I always like to try new places and and had this place on my list what felt like eternity. Not an obvious place that's there I'm not sure if it's the signage or dark interior. When I was doing some errands I came by for breakfast and coffee, I did enjoy the breakfast, you sure get value for money here and a place that l would come back to.

Myself and 2 friends went here for lunch today soup and sandwiches, one soup was the wrong kind and the young lady serving it spilled it on the table in all fairness she did half clean it up. One soup was cold. The sandwiches were okay but one had cheese when it was requested no cheese. We asked for two teas and a hot water we got the teas tossed on the table and a large glass of cold water the young lady must have noticed she spilled the tea but offered no apology we will not be back.

Perhaps I just caught this place on a bad day but this wasn't good. The place was cold, and all the food we had was cold. The beans on the Full Breakfast were basically straight out the tin. I also don't really get the atmosphere they are aiming for... from the entrance it almost looks oriental but inside it's a strange mix of Italian and even pictures of Egyptian stuff. Odd. Coffee was good though.

Worst baked potatoes ever. Cold. Spoonful of tuna. Sliver of mayo. Asked for coleslaw. They didn't have any. Asked for some salad. Spoonful at the side. Staff not bothered. Never asked if everything was ok. No wonder shop was dead. Complained but no one seemed that fussed. And my wee maw paid £15 for that and two cokes

It was a great experience, what a lovely brunch on Saturday. The food is really authentic and so delecious. The menu is large with variety of different dishes. Loads of Vegan option. Probably more than 60% of the menu is vegan. Highly recommended it. The staff so nice, kind and friendly.

Delicious and authentic Egyptian food! The basbousa was so good and authentic. I tried hawawshy and dynamite and both were very good. My non Egyptian friends also enjoyed the place so much. The Palestinian and Iraqi teas are amazing. Also very friendly staff.

We were recommended Time Out Cafe by a friend, who said we should try the all day breakfast. We ordered this and were served a mouthwatering array of hummus, eggs, naan, pickles, and falafel! We also ordered a Hawawshi which was slim, and so packed with flavour. The mince was lean and the vegetables full of spices. I will say one thing, the table was not clean when we were seated, so we took some napkins to give it a wipe. Other than that, the owners were really kind and asked if everything was okay and if we enjoyed our orders. I've never had an Egyptian brunch before, and I loved it. We'll bring our friends next time.

Really really friendly staff. So welcoming and had a great chat with them. Hospitality at its best. The ambience of the restaurant was amazing with mild music. Crunchy and hot falafels. Best joint for vegans and vegetarians. Soup of the day was 'carrot and lentil' - delicious. Wraps were so filling and economical too. Worthy of visiting often. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

I can’t recommend this place enough. Delicious, authentic and hearty Egyptian food, and extremely generous and welcoming owners, you can feel the passion and love they put in the place and in their food. It’s more than just a cafe to have a good meal, it really feels like home and sitting with family. By far the best place to hang out in Glasgow. Can’t thank the owners for everything because it truly isn’t a matter of just yummy food, it’s more than that. Thank you

Second time here, food superb and a warm welcome on both occasions. Had the full Egyptian vegan breakfast. Will keep coming back. Thank you!

The falafel is outstanding, so much flavour and really well priced! In fact, 3.75 for a falafel sandwich made with lots of TLC to sit in, is a bargain! Owners are genuinely kind and welcoming, always happy to see you come back. Great relaxing spot to enjoy a bite to eat and a game of chess with my buddy. One of Glasgow's gems 🇪🇬🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿♥️

Service With a Smile As soon as I entered, I was greeted with a big smile and warm welcome. Ordered a hot chocolate, cappuccino and a falafel. The falafel seemed a bit pricey but the portion you receive makes up for that. The taste was great, well presented. Only issue is that it was a bit dry and could of used more sauce. Which you can easily ask for if you go in for yourself. The cappuccino and hot chocolate was also very finely presented in a nice latte glass with a biscuit. Staff were very kind, provided banter and swift service with a smile. The vibe inside is very cosy and warm, great for escaping the harsh couple days of winter we have had here. The establishment is clean. Will pop in again some time.

A go-to for comfort food when I'm in the area...sometimes I will go out of my way just to be "in the area". You will always find a friendly face when you visit. Great for adventurous eaters and fussy ones too. Treat yourself and visit as soon as you can.

I was walking down the road, shivering in the cold and need a much needed warm up....so when I saw the Time Out Cafe I knew that a cup of nice hot coffee would warm up my bones. Went in, sat down and immediately I was attended to by a lovely lass who took my coat and asked my drink request. It seemed almost as fast as placing my order that my hot cup of brew came to my table. The piping hot cup, just a normal Americano, was a delightful cup. I have many types of coffee, as an esteemed coffee lover, but I have not had one as good as this one for quite a long time. Ordered a scone to add to my brew for too offset the bitter coffee taste which complemented each other. Fresh with a "not so soft, not so hard" crust which made my chilly afternoon walk a delight. Would definitely return! Thank you.

Terrible service, waited as approximately 40 minutes for a toastie, and were given no apology for the ridiculous delay, got a feeble excuse instead.
