There's no shortage of competing cafes around but still Oscar and Holly's stands out as being a particularly nice one. Staff friendly. Drinks and cakes are good l top quality. Not at all exclusively a children's or even a family place but is a favourite of kids and parents alike.

Another lovely lunch yesterday. Friendly atmosphere. Friendly and efficient staff. Prompt service despite being short staffed. Best scrambled eggs ever. Yet another lovely lunch at O&H's. I've been here at least once a week since Andrew took over. The food is always excellent. Thank you Andrew and staff.

It’s a lovely and friendly place. Nice food, good servings. A very pleasant way of spending some time with friends, kids or just alone, having a coffee/tea and a really tasty snack.

Every couple of years I give this place a chance to improve on the last disappointing visit as it's local, but I'm afraid this time was even worse if anything. The fryer was off which is no one's fault I suppose but it meant the menu was limited. We ordered paninis but the quality of the fillings was poor- gristly steak for example. Then when I went to pay the prices on the bill did not match those displayed on the chalkboard wall. I was told the board prices were the take away ones. This is actively misleading- the word takeaway is practically at ceiling height and not at all visible from where we sat and ordered. The sit in prices were not commensurate with the quality of the food. To put the tin lid on it I noticed they still haven't fixed the flush button in the ladies- it's been like that for at least 10 yrs. No more chances from me I'm afraid.
