Overall the cafe was ok for an on a budget breakfast, but I’d not recommend it or come back. The cafe was incredibly full so service was quite slow, although it was obvious the waiting staff were trying their best. The food was average at best: my breakfast roll was very dry and old, and the potato patty and sausage part both dry and chewy. The porridge was great, I wish it was a smaller portion or more fruits were there: it was a huge bowl of porridge with barely a strawberry 🍓 on top and a few banana slices. Cooked breakfast was ok. The cafe was quite dirty with both dishes and tables being old and not very clean. The tea was excellent, probably the best part of the whole breakfast.

Cafe Wander was our breakfast spot in Glasgow 🍳 It is a very cute place hidden on the bottom of a building. We had Scottish breakfasts which were delicious and very filling 🥓 It is very meaty though, just so you know 🙈 They had plenty other options too 🤗

Very friendly service and a nice vibe inside. Coffee was really good. Over all the value is good. I had the French toast which came with 4 big slices and only one slice of bacon. Would definitely like less bread and more bacon to get a five star. Others with me had a big breakfast and it looked good. Over all about £50 for 4 breakfasts coffee and juice so very happy.

First visit a friend took me there for Brunch. A typical full monty big breakfast inc.toast was swiftly served. Quality was excellent. Beautifully cooked, non greasy and tasty. Staff were excellent , friendly and efficient. Prices are reasonable and atmosphere was excellent for chatting . This is a basement cafe with no loud blaring music or any other noisy distractions Thoroughly recommended.

This is for one time experience cafe..served breakfast all day . Slightly overpriced for breakfast and milkshake / coffee... You will not get much spread.Even you will not get mayonnaise on table .. Not well planned before they confirm order. Few products were unavailable still they took orders . Not great at all...

I had a Berry smoothie and a piece of carrot cake and despite the nice decoration and staff I think it was a bit pricey for what it was. I had checked Google maps before coming here - looking for something cheap - and was quite surprise to see that it was about £4 for a slice of cake. Well, at least I'm supporting an independent shop but still... It would be nice to update the prices on their menu and Google maps

I visited today with a friend, waxing lyrical about the food, but I was really disappointed. Bland and boring is all I can say. The jacket potatoes were hard. The tuna mayo I ordered arrived as chicken mayo which I don't mind eating but this was not good chicken mayo. The side salad was dry no dressing. Presentation was rubbish. And I don't know why my latte was all foam. Where's all the high quality gone? I think the cafe has changed management, as I've noticed the menus are now always filthy and the service is really hit and miss. And there's never any quiche. I don't think I'll come back and this used to be a fave spot for lunch just two years ago. Bring back the old staff and chefs

Great place for a affordable breakfast or lunch. Good bang for the buck. You can choose from a great variety of soups, burritos, toasts and bagels. The café is small and feels a bit crowdy during busy hours.

Very cute little cafe in a good central location. Greeted by a friendly staff member, who was very attentive. Coffees were a generous size for a regular and came out very quickly. Food also arrived very quickly and was very enjoyable. Prices were good and my wife particularly enjoyed Goo Goo Dolls being used as the playlist that day. Would visit again and recommend to friends.

Nostalgic cafe with lots of options for good food! It was quite busy when we arrived, huge menu with lots of options. The panini came with crisps and salad, the breakfast roll was cheap and filling, the chai latte was really good, the French toast was great as well. The price is competitive too! It’s not a huge cafe but very cosy atmosphere, nice staffs and here we also found the pomelo flavoured san pellegrino!

A scam of a place. On the menu, the full breakfast was 7.95€ but I ended up paying 9.95€ for the breakfast. The excuse of the manager was just that the price changed. But he didn't even mention it when I was doing my order in the first place. When I said that it was a scam being charged something different from the price in the menu, the manager was just rude. Totally ridiculous and I am very disappointed. Will not come again. Avoid at all cost!

Im from Portugal, spend somedays here in Scotland, and from all the brunch/breakfast i experienced, this one was the best so far… Love the latte presentation, and the toast with peanut butter…. From heaven…

Avoid - I was overcharged compared to the prices shown on the menu. Phoned back and was told they were waiting for new menus with the updated prices but they did not mention this when ordering. Nice coffee but food was pretty poor quality, vegetarian sausages were more like sawdust and scrambled egg was dry.

Lovely Full Scottish breakfast and coffee, a little dearer than the well known pub chains breakfast,so much better ,not really comparable to be honest , freshly made, good quality products, definitely worth the little extra, definitely will be become a regular spot for breakfasts when staying in the centre👍👏👏

We liked it here, had a breakfast first day in town. And it was good. The french toast we didn't care for to much but the eggs on toast was fine. Also a cup of tea was a whole mug. It was a lot, but it was good!

I have been there this weekend, it was amazing, they treat us very good, and the food was very tasty. The most important thing: HUGE LATTE

I arrived before opening time as I was on the hunt for a full breakfast, including haggis, to start my day and was welcomed inside early to settle in and have a look at the menu. I ordered the breakfast I was looking for along with a dirty (with coffee) chai latte. Food and drink was great.

Lovely wee cafe with fresh, hot food. Good quality ingredients. Eggs were very tasty and traditional Scottish rolls used. A good selection of home baking also on offer. We had a scrambled egg and sausage roll, bacon/fried egg roll with a tea and a gingerbread latte. Liked the decor and atmosphere. Staff could have been a bit friendlier with bit of chat or a smile but were polite even though busy.

What a little gem! Comes close to what cafes are in NZ. Very helpful with making food gluten free which has been difficult to find in Scotland. Decor is art deco chic. Atmosphere spot on. Coffee was excellent. Oo

Fine, but not as good as it used to be… this place used to be great, now it’s just fine. Was in for brunch today, the table was dirty, there was food and grime on the floor clearly from the day before and the brunch was fine, but years ago when I was in it was great…

Cafe Wander is on West George Street down the stairs and you could easily walk past. As I walked in I was greeted warmly which is always nice, I had a pot of tea and a minute steak baguette with sweet potato fries, it was a tasty lunch. It is an independent cafe as well which is always good to support.

👍👍 An excellent experience at Miller and Carter tonight. The food came out quickly and was so incredibly delicious - the steak was cooked to perfection and the beef dripping sauce was to die for!
