This is a magical place, hidden in a tiny lane with other small shops of crafted things. This tearoom offers a step out of reality and takes me into wonderland full of sweet flavors! The tearoom is absolutely cute! The cakes are put on different looking plates and taste absolutely delicious! We never had drunk such an intense hot white chocolate and the marshmallows are a genious idea to add! The mocca also tasted intense. The tearoom is a jewel you shouldn’t miss!

Fantastic scones and tea! Accommodating with their menu which allowed us to try several different things and have a tea for two.

I've been here a couple of times before just for a wee sandwich and a bit of cake. This visit I got to try the vegan afternoon tea for the first time and my two friends had the regular afternoon teas. We got to sit in the first floor which was so pretty. I love the atmosphere, it's so homely. I also love the aesthetics... The vintage cups, teapots and plates, the mismatch chairs, antique furniture and the lovely bright pastel colours throughout. The staff have always been friendly and are very accommodating. The afternoon tea was amazing. The sandwiches were a great selection with soft bread. The cakes were great all with different flavours and textures. The scone was lovely and warm so I ate that first before the cakes so it didn't go cold! The vegan option for scones has dairy free butter and jam which you can't go wrong with, if they ever figure out a way to do a clotted cream alternative though that would be amazing to try! I had regular breakfast tea (loose leaf) which I enjoyed and there is dairy free milk options. My friends had lavender tea which smelled amazing. Their afternoon teas looked great too and they gave it the thumbs up. I realised I left my umbrella so I called them and they kindly let me come back another day to collect.. An excuse for me to come back and grab some cakes to go ;)

I love everything about this place! My daughter who attends University of Glasgow introduced us to Hidden Lane. She has gone many times this semester. I loved my London Fog that I ordered with my wee tea. The food was delicious and the scone was to die for. The staff are all so lovely. I 100% recommend you visit for a wee tea or sandwich if your in the area. Loved it !

Very nice, but really hidden tea room. Strongly recommend to do a reservation upfront, at least at weekends. If you would like to have the afternoon tea with a selection of sandwiches and cake you need to also order that at least one day in advance with the reservation. Nice selection of sandwiches and cake and of course a nice selection of teas.

This is an amazing place to have a brilliant experience for a nice breakfast 🍳 not only the interiors are outstanding and the food as well, also the service is one of a kind. As dogs are not allowed indoors, we just got a table outside and could enjoy this offers in the sun 🌞 The scones are fab and also the other choices like sandwiches with avocado 🥑 or smoked salmon and scrambled eggs are delicious 🤤

Well what can I say apart from wow oh wow, this hidden little gem is just luscious. We spent about an hour walking around trying to find somewhere suitable to eat lunch, with a teenager, baby and myself. The girls were very helpful and accommodating. The food was unreal, the baking was fabulous, and to have a loose leaf pot of tea was just delightful. Couldn't thank them enough, really is a hidden gem.

Cutest little place. My friends and I were able to have a gorgeous morning tea for a very reasonable price. The Ginger and Lemongrass tea was gorgeous and the scones were massive.

Great little find. Staff are lovely and the cafe very quaint. Hot chocolate and coffee were very nice, but I would suggest getting a large latte as the small is very small.

Lovely hidden gem in Glasgow, a lot of different cakes and teas. And the scones are the best ones I ever had! Really nice and friendly staff working here as well.

What a cute place! I was looking for a little place to get a quick breakfast and tea, and I cannot recommend this place more. It has such a cozy feeling and the food was so delicious. The tea comes out in a pot and teacup + saucer than reminds me of my grandma's house. I got the Earl Grey tea and plain scone with jam and clotted cream.

A tearoom which offers everything you'd want....inspiring sandwich combos, delicious cakes, an array of teas/coffees all served on quirky crockery in a clean and interesting to look at environment. A hidden gem with great staff ✨️ I had the brie, apple, rocket and balsamic sandwich, brocoli soup and a biscoff scone with clotted cream and jam. Delicious.

Had the afternoon tea during a weekday. Lovely experience and would come again! The waitresses were very friendly, the atmosphere was calm and nice, and the tea and food was great (especially for the price). The peach tea in particular, was gorgeous and the selection of sandwiches were diverse and yummy (one with camembert cheese, balsamic vinegar and another classic such as coronation chicken). The teapots are also really cute and the scones were not too dry. I would note that it was relatively busy and you have to book in advance for the afternoon tea.

It is out of the way and quite hard to find if you are not sure where you are going. Staff were very pleasant, attentive and helpful. I was there for afternoon tea and wasnt keen on some of the sandwich fillings provided so my selection was changed without asking. My friend and I left some of the allotted selection of sandwiches and cakes provided as we were full. We were given plenty of time to enjoy our food.

Such a wonderful hidden gem of Glasgow. Another great option for brunch in Finnieston. The London Fog is a great drink for lazy Sunday mornings.

Unusual and tasty soups. Quite pricey though, but that's in keeping with the other eateries on the strip. What you do get for your money though, which you won't get anywhere on the strip, is an intimate wee place to chill, away from the rat race for half an hour. Can't put a price on that. ?

This is a gem of a place. Went here on Friday morning for a brunch style tea. There was a great balance of Cakes and savoury options. I opted for the Turkish apple tea (which is one of my faves) and it was so tasty. There was plenty of food to keep us going, with a selection of granola, pastries, scones and sandwiches. The savoury muffin was definitely my favourite, but I would say the pastries were definitely overbaked. The girl serving was so sweet, she kept us updated when our food was coming out and she was very thorough in ensuring the goods were allergen free for me :)

Just the perfect atmosphere with eclectic decor, attention to detail, and great food. I enjoyed the wee tea with a small selection of sandwich slices, a delicious fresh baked scone with jam and cream, and some very nice earl gray tea. The best afternoon pick me up!

Recommend their white chocolate scone, selection of sandwiches and tea cocktails (rooibos one). Upstairs makes me feel a bit uncomfortable because of quite small. However, the tea room and coffee set stuff are really cute.

Superb little gem hidden away on the... Hidden Lane! Delicious breakfast and coffee and some little pastries as a Saturday treat! Super friendly staff. Make sure you pop in to the Bubbleicious Kitchville shop on the lane too for same superb cheeky gift items!

We had the most amazing vegan afternoon tea here which we pre-booked. Beautifully presented with vintage china and proper leaf tea. The sandwiches and cakes were all delicious and the scones were the best I’ve ever had. The tea room is so quaint snd located at the end of a quiet lane away from the busy main Street. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Such a treat to be able to have a fully vegan afternoon tea.

That’s the best afternoon tearoom! I have tried 4 afternoon tea in England and they can’t compare with this one! The chocolate cake with cream is best and the scone is great. In addition, the cinnamon cake has perfect sweetness and doesn’t make people tired! And the environment is beautiful so this tearoom is very worthy to go!

I fully enjoyed my experience at this place. Super cosy, great selection of tea, and sweets. It has also a very relaxed atmosphere, just for you to get immersed into writing or reading. Or just a nice talk with a special person.

Cute location and Nice atmosphere. Would have much preferred the bagels toasted and the scones warm and served with more cream and jam, as we got one small pot of each for 3 scones and had to ask for more twice. Everything took a little longer than we expected it to which was a shame but all in all it was a nice enough experience.

Lovely place with good food! We had soup as a starter and tea for two after. The tea for two includes a scone with jam and cream. The staff is really nice and the food is not very expensive.

Had afternoon tea given as a gift here today. Both the sandwiches and cakes were great. Sandwiches freshly made and a really nice variety. The cakes were fantastic! An interesting selection of dainty cakes all of which were beautifully made and fresh. Tea for two in a decent sized pot served red hot. The service was friendly and helpful. Just perfect.
