I visited today was really nice the food was really tasty and the service friendly although it was a bit slow even tho it wasn’t that busy . Overall nice place for coffee and brunch I would def visit again.

Lovely restaurant and friendly waiters ☺️ tips: discounts for takeaway food, discounts for students My friend and I were dine-in. I ordered a chicken sandwich and my friend had the bacon bagel. My sandwich tasted average... the bread on the outside was very dry and hard, and the sandwich had some vegetables and chicken inside (which tasted mediocre). The chips were given in a vinegar flavour which I didn't like.

Rose & Grant’s is the perfect place to go to for a hearty gluten free breakfast, especially for people with Coeliac disease! The staff are incredibly knowledgeable and the gluten free menu is robust. They offer gluten free bread and informed me that much of the regular menu can be made gluten free as well. I am vegetarian, and appreciate that many of their vegan options can be made vegetarian by swapping eggs and regular cheese for the vegan substitutes they use. If you have Coeliac or an allergy, you know the sign of a good restaurant is the waiter asking “is it Coeliac or preference” followed by “I’ll let the kitchen know” when they take your order. All of the staff were incredibly friendly and the atmosphere is lovely. I wish I’d known about them sooner! You know a restaurant is good when there’s a wait for tables at 1 pm on a Tuesday! The food was good, the gluten free bread was good, and the experience was great!

I love the vegan food here, amazing choice and quality. Good hygiene and had big screens up between tables which made it feel really safe.

Absolutely loved this wee spot. Suitable for veggies and vegans. Good selection on the menu. Good prices. Good portion sizes. Staff very friendly. Would definitely recommend and would love to come back next time I'm in Glasgow!

We were looking for a coffee and wanted to avoid the usual chains when we found Rose & Grant's. Thank goodness! Great coffee and good food. Excellent service from the team. I had delicious Sriracha & Hollandaise poached eggs with bacon and smashed avocado on bloomer toast. Just right for midday! Recommended!

Lovely cozy place with really good vibes! I made a perfect breakfast with a huge and tasty avocado toast and oat flat white! The staff as well is very friendly and kind.

We had an excellent vegan breakfast here. The staff were very friendly and efficient. The big vegan breakfast included the most delicious chickpea scramble and homemade square sausage. The coffee was very good and obviously made by an expert barista. All in all a perfect experience and highly recommended.

Excellent. Wandering along Trongate for a bite to eat and stumbled upon and stumbled in to this place. Initial alarm of vegan options dismissed by meat treats on page two onwards of the menu. Spoiled for choice but time was limited so opted for the bacon and cream cheese bagel. A brilliant idea and for once, the bacon was the major component. All washed down with a pot of tea. Just what the doctor ordered. I'll be back.

Delightful place, worth waiting for. I had a special request and Caroline and the chef were more than happy to serve the "Aberdeen Smokies" that I purchased especially from "The Fish Plaice" just around the corner. This place is very popular and a rare treat in Glasgow. You'll recognise it by the waiting line.

Went to this vegan Cafe after a recommendation in a blog. I enjoyed the breakfast and omg! The sausage tastes like real sausage!

Ordered food for delivery and it was great. We had two breakfast rolls each & the vegan square sausage was amazing. Will hopefully go to sit in soon!

Enjoyed it. Although was reluctant to go since previous visits had disappointed. Food was nice and unusual and service impeccable. Good spacing policy, indeed thought it made the place a bit cosier.

Delicious food. I think it's just reopened and we did have to remind staff about a few things. However that wasn't a problem considering how delicious everything was, plus it's a pleasant place to be. We had a small vegan breakfast (all delicious but the fried potato scone and garlic mushrooms were the highlights), avocado on sourdough toast (great but needed salt added and would have been better with seeds/chilli flakes, etc.) and soup (amazing). Also the hot chocolate was great (and can be made dairy free). The two vegan cakes they had were so good. Will definitely return.

A bustling cafe with a nice atmosphere and friendly staff. All the cakes on show were labelled as vegan and they have so many great, well thought out, vegan options. Many places do the same old thing but I got french toast with maple syrup and vegan bacon which was a lovely treat 🥰

Delicious bagels! A great place for a coffee catch up and brunch. Staff are really friendly and welcoming. The food and coffee is tasty and very reasonably priced. Often gets quite busy on the weekends so if you want a table I would go at less popular times.

I visited a few times before they temporarily closed and I'm glad to go back and see just how lovely the place has become! The new art on the windows is so pretty, and the interior is very cosy. The food is, just as before, amazing. And the staff is wonderful! Would highly recommend the french toast with maple syrup.

Absolutely love Rose & Grants and can't wait for them to reopen! The food is fantastic, the staff are great and there's always a grand atmosphere 😍 Big shout out to the vegan breakfast muffin!! One of the breathing I've ever eaten! And their breakfast is the best in Glasgow! Might want the vegan Mac n Cheese toastie back though 😆 I go a lot with my wee mum as she's not vegan, and the menu is great for both vegans and omnis alike as it caters for everyone. 5 stars all round ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Lovely staff, great range of food and yummy breakfast. Take cash just in case. Recommend the avocado and eggs. We took a whole load of cakes and treats back to Newcastle with us.

The French toast with bacon and washes down with a latte makes my heart sing and always leads to my "happy shimmy", reserved for only the nicest meals. I am so happy that Rose and Grants is re-opening, it is my favourite independent cafe in the city centre and one I always take visitors, friends and family to when in town. Aimee

Lovely breakfast - our first visit. Very friendly and attentive staff. Hollandaise eggs with siracha sauce was lush! Would definitely visit next time we're in Glasgow.

Cozy atmosphere and super attentive team. I wanted to eat the traditional porridge, which was not on the menu, and they promptly provided. Good food and good coffee.

LOVE! We were up in Glasgow for a weekend and fancied a veggie breakfast so googled and this place came up. They have meat too but my partner usually goes for a veggie breakfast too. It was AMAZING. We both got the ultimate and our coffees were included in the price ☺️

Amazing place to eat in. We went to glasgow for the day and had to choose between lots of great options. We definitely weren't mad we picked this one. Friendly staff, very nice food (I had the full vegan breakfast, it was perfect !!) and my boyfriend had the haggis melt with the soup of the day and he couldn't stop talking about it for the rest of the day :-) I rated the ambiance 4 out of 5 because it was very noisy, we had to talk quite loudly to hear one another. Apart from that, i recommend !!!

Very poor experience. Very hard to understand their covid procedures (for takeaway) and staff seemed annoyed at this. Worst part was that it transpires my latte was made with real milk and not almond milk as specified. Now I don't go almond for the taste if you catch my drift. 🙁 I guess why the coffee tastes so good eh? 🙈

We queued to get in staff helpful and came out to tell us how long we would wait giving regular updates. Once in it was worth the wait vegan options on menu very good. Portions very generous. Great atmosphere in cafe and wonderful staff . Couldn't resist a vegan cake to take away for later!

Great for breakfast options especially vegan options. It was very busy and we had to wait for a table inside but it was worth it.

Amazing food and happy to have so much vegan choice. There was also great service even though the place was really busy, and a great atmosphere. The only improvement I would suggest is giving tap water in a glass instead of in a plastic cup as this seems to be unnecessary waste.

My favourite place. Always delicious, plenty vegan options with amazing pastries and coffee! Staff is always friendly too, which is a big bonus for me! Vegan pancakes would be a nice addition in the future :))

Really great vegan menu!

Had been waiting to try this place for a while as my mum & sister are both vegan. It didnt disappoint. Its a busy little cafe, spacious and nice decor. We all order the "Ultimate Vegan Bagel" and it was beyond delicious. The staff were all super welcoming, helpful and polite. We also took some vegan cakes to go and oh my days YUM YUM YUM! Prices are very reasonable and good portion sizes. I highly recommend good vegan options but great choice for everyone. We will defo be back! loved it! ❤

I wish I had a magic door which I can open each morning to go for breakfast and later on for some tea and cake to Rose & Grant’s. They have the best vegan breakfast options - some of my favourites include full vegan breakfast and their vegan breakfast muffin. There is also a great choice of cakes and pastries. I just love Rose & Grant’s. 🙂

Rose & grants has been a firm favourite of mine for at least 7 years. Back when there weren’t many options for us vegans, they had the best vegan breakfast roll around - and it’s still the best to this day! (Vegan special) The staff are always so lovely & the food is delicious. I for one cannot wait to have my fave breakfast roll again 💙
