Amazing tasty food. Didn't even have to wait long for it. Plus with halal Chicken then it's a must. Order at the door or on the app. Reasonably priced.

Have heard great things about Yippon and finally got to try it - was not disappointed! From ordering to food arriving was so quick! I went for salt and pepper chips, Katsu chicken curry and spicy chicken Katsu sushi - all tasted brilliantly. So many other things I wanted to try on the menu, looking forward to going back again soon! 👌🏽

Absolutely loved the food. And we place orders using their website even if we are dining in, so minimal interaction with people. The atmosphere of the restaurant was classy. The place was almost full when I went there and everybody seemed to enjoy the food. Once again I have to say that I really loved the food. Delicious!

This place has a lot of buzz. It’s quite efficient and food is fast. However the prices surprised us. We paid £5.30 for a portion of salt and chilli chips. And noodles with a ‘curry’ cost £9.40. Which did feel a bit pricey for the ‘fast food’ you’re paying for. Can’t deny it is very tasty. The best priced item on the menu is the salmon set £17. Absolutely amazing. Wish prices were more affordable. Staff are great.

Great little sushi place that saved us from becoming famished while exploring Glasgow. We sat at the elbow bar and enjoyed some people watching while eating some good sushi and excellent boba tea. The pot stickers were good too!

Hidden Gem ! Found this place on tiktok of all places ! Really chill atmosphere with plenty of seating. The food was all very tasty in particular the chicken noodle soup and the chicken stir fried noodles. It was also great value for money with our bill coming to £30 between 2 of us. And every single thing we had was brought over piping hot! Will definitely visiting again in the future

Delicious chicken katsu curry, and very friendly service! Chicken is halal. I got a Taro milk bubble tea takeaway, they provide a paper straw which is not ideal for bubble tea, but still an overall good experience.

Had lunch here today for the first time. I would highly recommend to anyone to try as the food was very tasty, fresh and yet again, delicious! the staff was friendly and the service was spot on. Sat at the table and ordered through the QR code. The place itself is very clean aswell. Thank you, will be back soon :) I didn’t take any pictures of the food as it looked too tasty so I just dived in 🤣

Went for lunch with friends we hadn't seen for ages. I had had a big breakfast so opted for some sushi which was really tasty. The cooked/hot options looked really tasty with things like salt chilli chicken or tofu and sweet potato tempura. Staff were not particularly helpful, in a too cool for school kind of way but worth a visit. Price was reasonable too.

Why i had to wait for chicken to be cooked n then it arrived cold I will never know. Salt and chilli chicken had this one wee single slice of chilli to try and flavour the whole thing, honestly the sadest little lonely slice of chilli ive seen i hate feeling sorry for my dinner. Farmfoods chicken poppers, below average boiled rice, one slice of chilli n a tiny sprinkling of spring onion, wasnt even any soya sauce around just teryaki?? Boba tea was alright

Was here for a late lunch with my partner recently. The trendy atmosphere appears to be Yippon's biggest selling point. Offers online order even if you dine in, reducing need for interaction with staff members. I liked the choices on the menu - East Asian fusion leaning towards a Japanese focus. Food is nice albeit a bit pricey for what you get. If you do interact with the staff, the customer service may vary significantly - when I asked if any soya sauce and wasabi came with the sushi set I ordered, the first staff member barely looked at me with a blank expression then walked off without saying anything. Had to repeat my question to another who witnessed this, approached me, and responded in a friendly way.

One of my go to takeaways in Glasgow. They do the best salt and chilli chips in town! They're crispy and in batter almost. Haven't tried better anywhere. The rest of the food is pretty damn good too!

Absolutely delicious food! I tried food from this place for the second time. Everything was delicious, fresh and good portion sizes. The staff were also very friendly. The only thing I would say is that it's a little bit pricey. However, I'll definitely be back over and over again for more! 😋😋😋😋

The place is spacious, cleaned and well kept, the staff attentive and quick. The food was really good and they have a vast Japanese menu to choose from...even Buble Tea! Definitely recommend it!

Came here for lunch with some work pals. Wanted to try it out as we had heard good things. We were not disappointed. The portions are plenty big enough! Service was quick, either at the desk or ordering on your phone. There were 8 of us and we all were served our food within 15 minutes. Absolutely worth every penny! Can recommend the honey chilli chicken!

Fantastic food, but appalling service. I have absolutely zero complaints about the food. It was really tasty, well cooked and well presented. It’s probably the best take-out food I’ve had for a long time. Unfortunately, I wasn’t so impressed with the service. I ordered several meals online and went to the restaurant to collect when the order was ready. The restaurant itself is really clean, it has a good atmosphere and it’s very trendy. I waited at the ‘please wait here for collection’ and the staff continued doing what they were doing behind the counter. I waited…and waited and the staff just walked past without any eye contact. After 15 minutes, when a member of staff gave me eye-contact, I was able to ask if they had my order. It was sitting in a bag on the counter. I told them I’d been waiting for 15 minutes and they just handed me bag…no apology. It was really quiet at the time, there were no other customers, and the staff were chatting as they were cleaning trays and worktops. I could have otherwise accepted the delay was due to it being a busy period. Hopefully this was a one-off because the food really was excellent.

Decent enough food. Place is always busy. Cannot give it 5* as the food is not perfect but is really good. Really good for a takeaway. Service is average. Nothing great but all in all value for money as the prices are amazing for the quality.

Good food but very pricey compared to the rest of the street. Service not fantastic, e.g. walked in through the open doors at 11:59 only to be told to leave because they didn't open until 12:00 (couldn't I have just waited inside for 60 seconds?). Went to Oaka instead.

I had the sweet and sour, it was super sweet for my taste. I think should be less sweet. Next time I will try different dish. Other dishes looks good, I will give the place a second trial. Seems there is a potential in the place. Freindly staff, very quick serving even at peak time during the lunch.

The food was expensive and tasted disgusting, unauthentic and cheap. The restaurant had an atmosphere of a cafeteria. Felt very sick after eating it. Don't go here - there are much nicer places to eat in Glasgow.

Easy to eat and buy, like grab and go. The menu usually the same every day but the taste is fabulous! It is an Asian food based on Japanese, Chinese and Thai style, and they give it's in the big bowl as well. The drinking menu is a variety style (both Japanese and Chinese style).

Been twice. I love the food there specially the beef flank stew, the chillies were a nice touch to the dish but maybe be too spicy for some. I also love the taro bubble tea, it was nice and sweet just like how I've had it before in other places. It was so good and I'll definitely be back for more because I love the taro flavour and it's hard to come by. The soft served ice cream is nice too, imagine a softer, creamier Mr whippy. A MUST try is their speciality Mille's crepe cake if you're a dessert fan. They usually have 2 flavours to choose from out of a variety they make so you'll just have to see what they have on the day. Soft sweet and creamy again. HOWEVER, be careful the FIRST time, my friend tried their matcha one and she really didn't like. Either they used some strong cream cheese or the cream had gone off. It was pretty bad. I tried one bite to confirm and agreed. The staff were kind enough to swap the cake for the other one which was a lot better. The SECOND time at another occasion, a different friend decided to get it after my warnings, I retried it and this time it definitely had a cream filling and was much better. Aside from the food the atmosphere is nice and simple which I like. I would describe it as casual dining. But when it gets busy it is hard to find a seat. There's at least room for 30 people and close to the university so a lot of students come in around lunch time. Price wise is so so, it's not super cheap but not too overpriced either, especially based on what there are providing. Would definitely recommend and I know my friends loved it.
