The food is delicious, simply second to none. The owners, with their heart-warming kindness, take care of you as soon as you’ve stepped inside. I’ve never met such friendly and lovely people in my life and I doubt I ever will. It’s a place where E-V-E-R-Y-O-N-E is invited, no questions asked. You want splendid food? You got it. You need a cordial conversation and atmosphere? You got it, too. There’s nothing missing in Globe Café - whatever it is you need from a place to eat, look no further, ‘cause you’ll DEFINITELY find it there. My friend and I were delighted with the quality food and the extraordinary service combined with warmth manifested by the exceptionally hospitable owners. Was a Great wee place for brekky scrambled egg brill till it got took over. I was in other week seemingly had just opened ordered 2 breakfasts tea and coffee. Coffee and tea came stone cold I kid you not sent it back returned with wee bit of heat and coffee couldn’t drink as it was meant to be white coffee. Breakfast got served but only one as hadn’t written other one down 😡mines came I kid you not my square sausage was still alive. When paying I told him not to charge for coffee or sausage as it was still alive and said he better watch what he’s doing before he makes someone Ill. Didn’t have a clue we saw various people getting up and leaving. I hope they raise they’re game before they go out the game shocking way to serve food. Re your answer it was a Sunday was your 1/2nd day of opening and your waitress said sry we’ve been let down and I can assure you if you were the owner that charged me you were told about sausage and the coffee and service was abysmal to say the least. So take the review as a positive and stop trying to defend what service you provided on that day.ps why would I want to call in when I’m getting service like that I’ve frequently ate in that cafe for many years

Used to love this place but now prices are ridiculous and food quantity is shocking compared to the previous owners, plus no heating on in cafe area so was freezing while waiting on my take out so no wonder no one was sitting in when I was there - definitely won’t be back which is a shame as I was a regular before new owners took over - friend of mine was in today and it was freezing so not lovely and warm as reply stated unfortunately

Great friendly cafe. The food is great and fresh cooked both take away and sit in. Home made cakes are also excellent. Prices are extremely reasonable. From the first time I went to the Globe cafe I felt like part of a family.

One of the most humble people I’ve came across, the owner and staff were super friendly chatting away to us. Highly recommend this place great value food was so delicious and friendly faces! Would definitely return next time we’re back in Glasgow.

I went here today (14/10/20) with my partner. We’ve love it, it’s exactly what we were craving, somewhere to sit, relax, have a bite to eat and enjoy nice hot cuppa. The staff were lovely and very welcoming! We really enjoy our visit and definitely will be back.

Got back from a great big family trip to Scotland about a month ago. This is the first place we came to for a much needed meal and pick me from some insane jet lag. We went all over the beautiful country and this was my favorite place for a tea and a bite! Lovely wonderful helpful owners and excellent simple nosh. They even gave me a nifty plastic bin to carry all of my travel companions food/beverages back to the flat one morning. I wake up every day wishing that I could stop here on my way to work.
