🤩 had a great breakfast this morning. I tried a few other places but NO dogs allowed. What a great find to take the dog after a good walk. This is my first visit and I’m sure there will be many more now I’ve found such a great quirky place. Great food, service and prices. Thanks, see you again soon 🐾🐾🐾

Quirky, different and comfortable. The Bullands is like visiting a friend house for coffee or lunch. The food is excellent, the portions are generous and the service is friendly and attentive. We have been there as a couple and as a large group, easily accommodated and unrushed chats! We are regulars now and couldn't think of going to a chain coffee shop when in Milngavie! Many years on, still great food, great service and as quietly as ever. A must stop in when you're in Milngavie!

I popped in for a coffee and scone after a 5 mile walk! When scone appeared it looked burnt and more like a rock bun !I didn't accept it.. asking for one not burnt.apparentlty all the same.i was even told that under the crust they were delicious!not a scone as I know one! It was a rock bun!disappointed ...so will not stop there again!why should we accept second best?

Looked forward to trying the place as we had passed it many times so four adults two kids and a dog went in to eat...Our dog got a sausage straight away, she was happy, ...the Lasagne was bland, the macaroni was good but the dish was cracked and the sauce run down the side of it, the soup was like water, the chips were hard and almost burned, the baked potato was hard, how could they make a salad look so bad, when we went to pay the bill we saw the cook mix up eggs in an old margarine tub that only looked fit for the bin and the kitchen area was very untidy...the waitress who served us looked embarrassed about asking for money for the bill ...sorry won't be back....

Lovely dog friendly cafè. Went in 1hr before closing, at this point, there was only tea and cakes available. When we went in and through out stay it was empty, no music playing, all we could hear were the staff talking. All the cakes and bakes looked delicious, Victoria sponge was really good too. Customer service was great, couldn't be friendlier. Great place for people with dogs to meet up and get a quick bite 🐶

Took a while to be acknowledged and then even longer for our order to be taken.. saying that we were only in for cake and coffee and in no hurry... good value for money and cake slice was a good portion size..

Definitely gone downhill. Our last visit was good but today 5/11/2023 we waited an hour and a half for two toasties and a bowl of chips before giving in and going elsewhere.

It's ok but no WiFi like most place have nowadays, plus I hate the "suicidal teddybears" they have hanging from the ceiling!

If you want a true taste of Scotland, go and have a pot of tea and scone. Maybe a haggis sandwich and add an empire biscuit for desert. The atmosphere is varied but amazingly warm, inviting, and fun. You just have to experience it.

Great atmosphere, food and service. First time I've been here and I'll be back again soon as the staff were very welcoming and go out their way to make sure you have everything you need.

Always get a decent bit of grub, reasonably priced. Soup and chicken and mango sandwich deal is a hit for me. The fish finger butty is great, decent tea pots that keep on giving.

Food was lovely but service left so much to be desired! The young waitress had quite an attitude, didn't smile at all and rolled eyes while talking to customers. Food took ages to come out, despite 5+ staff members standing doing nothing. When it did come out though, it was all lovely, with good portions - but I can't forgive the lack of service which would put me off going back

Lovely warm ace was busy on a Tuesday lunchtime good sign. People were waiting. Quirky with teddies on roof. We were treating some friends to a lunch out. Macaroni and chips gorgeous, soup and a sandwich too, empire biscuits to die for lol.. We took take out scones. It is dog friendly which does not bother us, our dog wasn't with us. Will be back!

Open 7 mins, only customer in the place and they manage to mess up my order. It may seem frivolous but I have been stuck isolating for 3 weeks as covid ravages around my family. My first day out I was looking forward to my bacon roll with two tattie scones but when I get home there is only 1 😭 I should go back but I am home now and hungry. I just can’t believe they could get such a simple order wrong. I am so sad

Baking & coffee delicious, however the service was sooooo slow, meant sitting outside became very cold 🥶.

Fully dog friendly cafe (water bowls kept outside). Great choice for lunch, lovely homemade soup and freshly made sandwiches plus good selection of hot food, breakfast items, haggis etc. Friendly staff, quirky decor, good service.
