Nice little food place with great dishes in Glasgow. Came here for lunch and the staff were very attentive despite how busy it was. The food took an average amount of time to prepare & was well presented, tasting good also. I would recommend this place for breakfast/brunch over lunch.

Came here after landing in Glasgow because of the reviews - which it lives up to. We got poached eggs and bacon, and the vegetarian breakfast (smokey beans, baked eggs, peppers and onions). Both very good. The vegetarian breakfast was Very filling and hearty. We also got to order the vegan haggis on the side and take enjoyed that. The poached eggs could have been warmer, but other than that the food was faultless. We also got two cakes to go; the lemon slice and raspberry chocolate galette. The lemon slice was amazing!

Food was good when it arrived but it took 50 mins to get it. The coffee is great and aside from the wilted lettuce, the food was good. Whilst the staff did their best to keep on top of a busy restaurant, you're paying for the location here, not amazing quality brunch. I usually go to the garnet hill branch and will continue to do that in future.

Friendly staff and great atmosphere. I had the meaty breakfast should keep me going for the rest of the day. Scrambled eggs to die for best I've ever had and the home made smokey beans was lovely to 5stars from me thank you.

Went for a family breakfast and I got the brioche french toast and all the toppings and it was AMAZING. Vegan options were great for my stepmum and my dad got a meaty breakfast and they looked awesome too. The staff were lovely and the restaurant itself was really chill. Very well deserved 5 Stars.

Delicious breakfast! I ordered the Betty and it was one of the best flavor combinations I've had so far in Glasgow. Charred halloumi cheese and poached eggs atop smashed avocado toast over peppery mixed greens and decorative hot sauce spread. Delicious and perfectly balanced. So many unique flavors in every bite and some soothing blueberry tea to pair it all with. One of the best breakfasts I've had so far in Glasgow. Thanks so much I'll be sure to recommend to friends and family!

Arriving at 9am on a Friday (minutes after they opened for the day), the place was busy and already full of patrons. This was the first sign of good things to come. The service was attentive, efficient, and pleasant. A bottle of cold water with glasses was already waiting for us at the table by the time we sat down. The meaty baked eggs were delicious, with just the right amount of chilli heat for this time of the morning. The bread was fresh and perfectly toasted. My partner commented that the granola with coconut yoghurt (as a dairy-free/vegan option) was exceptional.

Love this place! Came here on a whim to try to convince my boyfriend that brunch was good, and this place certainly delivered and convinced him! The menu has a large variety of options. There’s something for everyone and it’s reasonably priced. The food was nice and the drinks were enjoyable. My partner had the creamy mushroom steak open sandwich, and he said it was one of the best things he’d ever eaten. I had the eggs royale and it was good, the sourdough bread was quite hard, but that’s my only criticism. The chai latte was amazing. The staff were lovely and I’d most definitely come back here again when I return to Glasgow.

Kind of crowded and we waited for around 30min to get seated. The food portion is quite big, not quite impressive or surprising but overall is good. The chocolate brownie is too sweet for us, always many ppl so I’d say service is not that quick and atmosphere is kind of noisy. Could have a try here for a brunch but I don’t think it’s a good place to sit for too long.

Very nice place! The fritters were really good, although it was written feta on the menu and I am almost sure it was goat cheese. Otherwise great food. Great smoothie! Many many choices for cakes and huge pieces of them (careful the hummingbird cafe is extremeeeeely sweet).

The staff is great and the place is nice with a terrace outside. However, the food was a bit disappointing as my vegan breakfast was a bit tasteless. The meaty breakfast was ok. The chai tea latte was perfect. There are a lot of veggie and vegan options 🙏

Absolutely loved this place!! The staff were so kind, the atmosphere was festive (we went on Dec 23rd and the place was decorated and filled with Christmas music), and the food was outstanding. I had the French toast and I’m pretty sure it was the best that I’ve ever had. Amazing flavour. They’re also dog friendly and baby friendly ☺️ can’t say enough good things about this place. 10/10 recommend!

A lovely experience, great food, good portions and service. We preferred 'The Betty' and the 'Open salmon sandwich', they were excellent. We also tried the pumpkin-coffee cake.

We found this amazing little restaurant our first day in Glasgow for breakfast and it did not disappoint. Food was incredible and service was quick and incredibly friendly. Leah was our waitress and she was amazing. Couldn't recommend this spot more.

Visited Singl-end Merchant City twice. A busy cafe often with queues for tables, so I came with some expectations yet a bit disappointed with the food quality - not bad but merely average overall. I once had good baked eggs in a hot skillet with lots of toppings, but the other time I was served with uneven toasted bread with parts bitterly brittle, and rubbery bacon on pancakes. Also average coffee. Some cafes and restaurants take the high demand for granted and no longer (or too understaffed) to care about the quality anymore.

I had a nice meaty breakfast but a bit pricey at £13.50 and doesn't even include tea or coffee for that price. Hubby liked his egg and yoghurt breakfast as well but we both thought it's not deserving of £13 as well. We thought £8-10 would be better for it. Cake array and options looks really good typically £4.50 each. I'll maybe try them next time.

Food was nice, coffee average. Place itself is nice although floor staff was probably hired few days earlier and no one had time to give them proper training. Only kitchen seemed to know what they are doing - big props.

CUBANO S\ WICH was so good. Buttered toasted bread sandwiched between grilled pork, with pickles and awesome cheese. I really liked it. The hot chocolate was also very good. All in all, I recommend this store. I will come back next time.

Fantastic options for breakfast/brunch. Veggies/Vegans and Omnivores well catered for, friendly staff. Both branches (Merchant City and Garnethill) highly recommend.

I didn't expect this place to be so busy! Managed to only wait 10 minutes to get a seat. Came for a quick breakfast/brunch after a night coach up. Both of us got the vegan yogurt and granola which was divine. Didn't need so much maple syrup as it did get a bit sickly near the end but still enjoyable and reasonably priced too. Would probably come by again, just make sure to book in advance

👍👍 An excellent experience at Miller and Carter tonight. The food came out quickly and was so incredibly delicious - the steak was cooked to perfection and the beef dripping sauce was to die for!
