Looks like a lovely place to stop for a wee catch up chat/short break. However, the cooking smell is lingering very heavily in the air as soon as you enter! 🤭 I was only donating some warm winter items for their fabulous free offer for families to keep warm thru the winter but when l came back out my clothing was smelling very strongly of a cafeteria. 😏🙄😕 Sadly then my car was too! 😢 I was chatting to a colleague about this, who had actually picked up some warm winter items from the shop for a family that she is helping out, but she had to wash all of the items first before she could hand them over, because the clothes were all smelling so strongly of food, as was her car. Please do not be offended by this review, as it is simply mentioned in the hope that something could possibly be done to avoid the lingering aroma of cooked food being on the clothing. Some of the items which l donated were 'dry clean only' so that is disappointing for whoever picks them, as they were all smelling clean and fresh when l donated them. Please do keep up this good, kind and caring free offer of offering winter clothing to people in need, and perhaps think about a better extraction fan system to get the lingering food smell OUT of the shop. It could even be that there is no extraction fan in place at present, which is badly needed OR if there is one, that it maybe gets serviced or checked for it's efficiency.

Nice, friendly and welcoming staff. Excellent freshly made pasties and sandwiches. Good pots of tea and excellent freshly made coffee. Lovely cakes. "Doggie Bag" service available, if you wish.

Food was amazing, service was great, venue was very cute, great selection of food and cakes. Very reasonably priced. Facilities clean and great for mum of toddler as they had a child's seat in disabled, womens and mens facilities.

Popped in for breakfast yesterday. Now table service due to covid. Staff were lovely. Food was very tasty and inexpensive. Had a roll with square sausage and tatty scone, my partner had scrambled eggs with bacon and tomato and we shared a pot of tea. Would definitely go again.

Stopped here for lunch lovely homemade soup and freshly made sandwiches and a flat white to top it off. Nice food , nice ambience and very friendly staff. We will return.

Organised a funeral purvey for us, food was excellent and the lovely Karen was very attentive and made sure we had a very pleasant afternoon, really lovely room.

There is one member of staff who is abrupt rude and full of her own importance Short grey hair and loves herself. Mum is not a big eater anymore so I asked if she could have a children's soup and sandwich portion. Straight no. No problem anywhere else. Also rushed me when I had finished my breakfast. Looking to take salt pepper and sauce sachets.

If you don't mind Christian music blasting out, then please Enjoy your time. I've no objection myself, My biggest concern is that they have squashed too many tables in to a fairly small place. Yes, the prices are on the high side but all the baking is home made by church members.

What a great place! A wee gem: lovely staff and good food. A small group of us who hadn't seen each other in ages met here, sat in the 'snug' and ate and chatted to our hearts' content. Prices are reasonable too, which was a bonus.

Only had the soup and a toasties but both were lovely. The staff were also lovely. Would recommend here to anyone.

Food was lovely. Owner very welcoming. Only criticism would be owner runs about doing most things and time between food and tea/coffee cake is quite a long. Will go back provided we don't need to go anywhere afterwards. Would recommend.

A den of scheme-mums. Not been here since the lockdown-stupidity and no intention of ever going back. I have came here 6 times (to meet an older friend who fits their desired demographics), and have been served 1 time (I was completely ignored the other 5). -The tea is the not so great Tesco own brand, at the cost of two boxes of Tesco own brand tea for one cup. -Unhealthy food options that only old people might like. -Last time I was here (during the lockdown-stupidity) I had staff screaming at me for sitting in a chair at the table my friend was at. They had the place packed, literally at capacity with occupied seats back to back, but they chose to scream at me for sitting in a chair at our table (the only empty chair in the whole place), the joys of not being one of the scheme-mums. No service, and bigot-crow staff; I have not been back since.

Great cafe to visit for a tea and cakes or for lunch. Very cosy atmosphere

Food was average but not bad. Service was the same. We got our coffees after our food which was unusual. I think someone forgot 😅 Also didn't realise it was owned by a church until we noticed some Jesus stuff inside 🤔 we certainly wouldn't have deliberately given our money to any religious organisation if we had known.

Little gem of a place.

Cream of Broccoli soup with roll and butter. Very nice. Hot pot of Earl Grey tea with skin milk to follow. Most enjoyable lunch.

Love this place! Such a wee treasure that I never knew existed and was so happy when I found it.. me and my partner love coming here regularly for a nice breakfast and a few cups of tea. Staff are always so lovely and approachable. Such a welcoming, calm, cosy atmosphere!
