I don't even know where to start with these INCREDIBLE women! MILK is not just a cafe, it's an event in and of itself. So much going on, so much empathy, so much kindness, so much coolness! I've considered moving to the south side just to be near them, cause I've only been able to go 3 times for the tile painting and the painting workshop. I just love them. Great cakes, too!

Absolutely brillYANT place. Food is fabulous, with the genius idea of inviting cooks from different countries to come and cook their local dishes. A social enterprise, set up to empower and support refugee and migrant women living in Glasgow. MILK  also offers free classes and workshops which are open to all women in our community (and sometimes, where appropriate, men and children too).

Milk were our wedding caterers, and the whole process was relaxed and enjoyable. They worked with us to fine something that fit with our budget and venue limitations, gave great advice about catering and wedding planning generally, and the food was absolutely amazing. Our guests are still talking about how great the food was! We didn't buy a wedding cake, but had lots of different cakes provided by Milk, and they looked amazing, fit our vibe perfectly, and were super well received, with everyone sharing and tasting a bit of everything, I can't fault them at all, thank you so much <3

Whilst visiting local laundrette this was a welcome environment rather than watching a washing machine go round and round. Good tasty food, focused on inclusion (always a bonus for me). Unusual menu, nice changed from the norm. Went back the following week. Would go back when I am in the area.

Bohemian cafe with great cake and good table service. There aren't many tables and it looks cluttered, but that is part of its charm.

Great wee cafe. Friendly staff, excellent coffee, vegan and non vegan cakes. It has a lovely community atmosphere and a quirky design with lots of plants. Great option instead of big chain coffee shops.

Absolutely Divine. We had Milk cater our work meeting and everything was delicious. I’m not exactly sure what everything was, but as my best guess: the chicken and chorizo dish, bean stew, Greek salad, and sweet potato and goat cheese salad were all out of this world. Like I said this was catered for a work meeting for both vegetarians and meat-eaters alike, and everyone left satisfied and stuffed.

Excellent cup of tea and a wee chocolate brownie. Thoroughly recommend this place

We had a really nice Brunch here, the quality of the dishes were amazing and the price was great. There was a mix-up with my order, which I suspect was my fault, but they fixed it anyway which I'm very grateful for. Lovely staff, we will be back!

I COULDN'T HAVE ASKED FOR BETTER! I dreamed of hosting an intimate dinner party at my flat for my 30th birthday, which got delayed by a year due to covid restrictions, giving me all the more time to think up my grand plans. I reached out to MILK after a friend recommended them to me, to see if they would be willing to cater for the event and they said yes. The food was insanely good!! Evie was so accommodating and lovely. Together they helped me plan the perfect night and the perfect menu to suit the style I was going for. Everyone at the party raved about the food and I was the lucky one to have the leftovers for the next couple nights too. I need that caponata recipe! Thank you so so much. Highly recommend!!

Been for delicious vegan lunches a few times, coffee is excellent too. Went to the Modern Pakistani supper club on Saturday and it was epic.

This is a lovely little cafe, the food is excellent, very tasty and the two members of staff running it were very pleasant and helpful.

Amazing place and sraff

This cafe is great. Really glad of the initiatives they are doing, e.g. for the Roma community in Govanhill, and refugees in Glasgow. The food is also good and fairly priced - bought a banh mi and a glass of prosecco for £9 on international women's day.

We tried to go to bakery47 however it was closed🤔. It was a blessing though, as we ended up going to milk cafe. It was perfect👌. Great scrambled eggs and salmon and coffee was spot on. Service was good to. Definitely going back!

Place has a really nice vibe with lots of plants and positive messages on the walls. Coffee was also excellent.

The breakfast is one of the best I've had anywhere in the world. The ingredients are simple and fresh and cooked perfectly. For a tiny kitchen, staffed by one or two, I was surprised that the food for all five of us came out at the same time, and hot. The portions are generous, which is a good thing, and the prices incredibly reasonable and a steal for quality of the food available. I eat breakfast out often and this is one of the best ever.

This is an awesome cafe. Good food. Good coffee. Good atmosphere. And they function on principle. If you are in its locality this is the cafe to go to.

Just had the most delicious lunch here today! Gorgeous little cafe with cute, quirky decor, and the food did not disappoint. I love that it is also a social enterprise supporting refugee and migrant in the southside community. Its an added bonus that their coffee is great! It's going top of my favourites list for sure.
