This was a special treat from my sister. We came here for breakfast and what a helping you get. It is a nice cosy wee cafe and it was fairly busy for a Monday morning. I couldn't resist the full breakfast and a cup of tea. I was very full afterwards. It crossed my mind that some of the other people came here regularly as they knew the staff by name. If I lived locally I probably would come regularly also as it is extremely good value for money.

Takeaway side is ready to provide you with the best coffee in a flash and get you going with a range of tasty breakfast brioches or grab a salad for a lunch on the go!

If you are looking for a perfect place for breakfast or brunch do not look any further. It's a busy place so you might need to wait for a table at times, but the wait will be worth it. Great food, well cooked and served by friendly staff.

Went to Alessios for some fresh scones and coffee for the 1st time and it certainly didnt disappoint. Scone was served heated and with fresh cream and jam. We actually ran out of jam and the staff were more than happy to provide more. Alessios had a lovely buzz about it and the staff were very friendly.

Had lunch there with my sister, the staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was lovely. I had a ciabatta with pesto chicken, it was huge but I ate the lot because it was so tasty. Sis had a breakfast roll with scrambled egg and tattie scone, she said it was delicious too. There are plenty of veggie options on the menu too, I will definitely be back 😋

Delicious food and brilliant staff. We had a bit of a wait to get seated, but not surprising when the place is so good. Eggs benedict and stornoway black pudding will sort out your sunday morning restorations, had xmas hot chocolate too, loved it. Absolutely recommend this place. Be keen to go back later in the day, as we were leaving lunches were coming out and they looked awesome.

Lovely vibe here at Alessio's. We enjoyed two breakfasts here whilst holidaying nearby. The staff are very friendly, the food is as beautiful as it is delicious and the decor is really chic too. We enjoyed sampling a few of their pastries to go too!

Lunch in the sun. Great service and a lovely menu, lots to chose from. Can never decide what to have had the salad for a change as it was a nice day and would definately recommend. Great healthy options for kids aswell, plates were emptied. Out for a spot of lunch in kirky its a must try.

One of my favourites! Food is consistently top quality- it never disappoints! Staff are always lovely, friendly and very attentive. I am so glad I found this little gem of a place! A real treat to the eyes, soul… and tummy! :)

We visited for Sunday brunch. Cannot book ahead, so expect to wait a short while if busy. Less so for tables of 2, we were a 3 so took longer. Food was very nice and service was very good too so worth the circa 10min wait. Would go back without hesitation when in the area.

Unsure why queues to eat here the breakfast was awful, french toast raw egg and soggy. Work in hospitality and I always do check backs or ask customers if any problems when food returned but not at Alessio's. Chose not to complain as with friends but won't return.

Epic coffee! Having frequented other coffee houses in the area before Alessios came to be, it took some friendly nudging from family and friends to check this out, and the coffee really is terrific. The sit down bistro is also excellent and the service friendly and attentive. Very very busy more often than not but surely a sign of the quality on offer. Check it out!

Friendly cafe with tasty food which is always good & hot and their flat whites are lovely & smooth. Recommend the strawberry danish pastry after their full breakfast 😉 - just be prepared to wait for a table as it’s very popular.

Great coffee, fantastic food, and Dietary options. I've haven't visited Allesio's in a while and I have to say I won't wait so long. The service has really come a long way... We had a delightful, professional and efficient server even while the cafe was hopping. Did I mention the great coffee?

Alessio's has a warm, family friendly atmosphere. The food and coffee's are delicious. One of our local favourite brunch spots in the area.

Excellent service and food... Had to wait twenty minutes for a table, it's that popular, but worth it.. Lovely lunch
