Lovely, fresh tasting meal with helpful staff who go out their way to help you. Value for money and the return of the self service salad and bread Barr is great. It’s worth noting that this restaurant, a chain, has had same team members of over a decade. Though it only a small amount of people and faces do change. It’s refreshing. It’s unusual.

Best Breakfast in Renfrewshire. Mary and Shena are the best waitresses, they know exactly what I order.. Service with a smile, the Managerss is always walking about asking if everything is OK. Great food and great restaurant, the price for build your own breakfast is awesome...

Harvester Restaurant and Bar Hillington. This is not the kind of place which I would usually choose for a meal however I WAS VERY PLEASANTLY SURPRISED BY MY VISIT. The premises were clean (including toilets), staff friendly and helpful, food was excellent and hot, not much waiting time after placing the order and very good value for money. All good, no criticisms at all and I will definitely be back.

Was okay! Nothing overly exciting. Place was busy enought and staff were friendly and helpful. Food was basic just made to sounds better from the menus and not overly worth the price, but this is just my personal opinion. The salad bar was a win 🙌🏻

The Harvester is part of a chain of restaurants that serve mostly British type food, for example - Fish & Chips, Mixed Grill, Burgers etc. They can get busy at weekends, but as it was during the week it was fairly quiet. Service was quick and friendly and the food was very good with generous sized portions. There is also a complimentary salad bar and free bread rolls, I'd also recommend getting the unlimited soft drink option with your meal. The prices are reasonable and families are catered for. Recommended 👍

They really need to sort out the staffing. When you have to book a table in advance there is no excuse for only having 2 staff on. I only ordered 2 courses yet was in for over 2 hours. Took around 25 minutes just to take our drinks order on arriving and after eating it took around 30 minutes just to get the bill. I can't fault the staff, they were rushed off their feet, but management really need to sort it. Food quality was also excellent. I've had far too many bad experiences now with Harvester over the years. I won't be going back.

Food was of the normal standard - plain and non-offensive. Staff were not wearing face coverings or following the one way system they had in place for customers. We were also most likely sitting too close to other (smelly) patrons. Final straw was when my gift voucher was declined and my query to the Harvester "customer service" team has been ignored for about four weeks.

Went for breakfast here on a Saturday and I would not recommend. A number of items where not available from the menu. We asked for Pancakes without bacon and was told it came with the bacon and we had to have the bacon on it. The toast we ordered with our breakfast was served almost 15 mins before our actual breakfast arrived. The breakfast we ordered was awful. Eggs where over cooked on bottom and under cooked on top. Everything was covered in burnt scrappings from the grill top. The fried tomato was raw, the square sausage and black pudding was barely cooked. And to top off the whole experience every member of staff we saw looked miserable .

Customer service was terrible from one waitress , i burnt my hand washing them in the bathroom had no where to run my hand under cold tap. Was told well theres signs. Well clearly not enuf signs or what if i was blind/ had a learning disablilities. Think she needs to learn some empathy and how to speak to others

The staff here are very attentive, helpfull and understanding. We went here for a meeting during which we had an excellent breakfast too. The restaurant was clean tidy and well laid out. We stayed in the Harvester for about 6 hours but this was not an issue at all. I would definitely recommend this place for meals and a place to meet.

Salad bar was great. All food was excellent. Portion sizes are large. Staff were friendly and we will all return soon.

Have seen this place a number of times driving past in my truck. Glad that we stopped tonight. Parked up outside. Was greeted warmly and helped through the covid registration by Mags. She then escorted us to our table and looked after us for our stay. Food was quick and well served. Tasted very well but in my opinion as a fat trucker i thought i had been given the childrens menu. But in all honesty we left with a full belly. Special thanks to Mags. After not the best day she ended the evening on a good note.

I love the breakfast here. There are great options from the menu. The build your breakfast is to your choice and it tastes great, only one thing with the breakfast, it needs real black pudding. The pancakes are delicious. The best part is the staff, Mary is a legend her customer service makes you feel like your at home.

I took my BF for his birthday dinner here and I can highly recommend the Harvester in Hillington. Mags was our server and she was polite, knowledgeable and very friendly, always seemed to be smiling. The food was amazing, hot and delicious, the drinks were unlimited as we just had soft drinks and the salad bar was well stocked and there were loads to choose from, including beautiful pesto pasta. The range of sauces is great, from a simple mayo to their legendary red devil sauce! The atmosphere was good, lovely Christmas tree up and decorated and the music was at a volume where you could still talk easily. The toilets are clean and well stocked too. I would go back anytime and recommend the Harvester in Hillington for great food, service and a welcome that would be hard to beat!

Food was good for the price, staff were excellent very friendly, although the young lady was desperate to take our order she asked us 3 times were we ready to order did we want drinks. It felt a bit rushed. My husband fancied chilli but it was meat free so he choose something else. Salad bar great. Norah

Very underrated establishment. I had the burger which was up there with my top 5 favourite burgers. My wife had the chicken skewer and I must say the presentation was so appealing I had to steal a bite, the peppers were amazing with the bourbon sauce.. highly recommend. Our daughter had steak (rare) this is usually her go to meal but ut was quite tough for her and opted to eat some of mum's instead 😂 I would recommend this place for a Sunday dinner.

Came for opening on a Sunday morning. Food arrived quickly and was hot. Service from Sheena was lovely, very attentive. Place is reasonably priced for the amount of food you receive. Great place for a chilled brunch.

I generally go here as I rarely need to book and the salad bar is a must Today there was an excellent choice in the salad bar and the man serving us actually came over with a bill when asked. The only thing that I don't like about harvester is trying to get a bill out of them its often a nightmare and I'm surprised they don't lose people to not paying. Not today though. So well-done young man who ever you are, you are a good reason for me to come back .. meals were all good. Children's one sadly the pasta was a bit bland ..

We ordered two courses meal, full pork ribs with chips and coleslaw, the portion is quite full for an Asian like me. They have a freeflow salad if you order a main course. The pork ribs is the best Waitress are very polite and friendly.

A brilliant meal after a long busy day! A nice quiet meal with the kids which was what was needed. Our server, Gemma, was just lovely. Very quick, polite, attentive and she was just brilliant with our young kids. I’ll definitely be back xx

It was alright. Not the same as it used to be. Fish & Chips: The quality is fairly good. I can't taste the lemon in the fish, however. I can taste it in the chips, though. It's pretty good. Chocolate Fudge Cake: It's average. The sauce seems either too thick or thin on some places. Aside from that, it's decent.

Come here for the excellent food and the waiting staff. Food as ever cooked to perfection. Steak was superb. Portions just right to fill our appetite. We shall roll home. Banter from laugh a minute Sheena and her wingwoman Karen as always welcome after a dreary day. Top marks. We will be back!!!

We visit this place frequently and usually served by Mary. We never have any issues! The food is good value and service excellent. Mary especially is always welcoming, polite and super helpful. Almost always she knows our order, she really cares about the guests.

First time visiting this restaurant in a good few years still fantastic staff very friendly and helpful and food amazing wasn’t busy so enjoyed our food will defo be back.

Great afternoon in Harvester Hillington. Very well organised with regards to Covid restrictions, table service, attentive staff and most importantly great food. My wee one was given a fun pack at the entrance which let her colour in etc. Would definitely recommend.

Great Harvester. The staff really make this place stand out above another Harvester nearby. Nothing is too much trouble for them to accommodate us. Good pub food at reasonable prices. Wheelchair accessible and good washroom facilities.

A pleasant surprise! Went here for a bite after work, service was excellent. I had the classic burger, came out with melting cheese, toasted bun, can't ask for more. The chunky chips are AMAZING. The only thing I will say is that the coleslaw for the burger was served in a hot metal dish, meaning the coleslaw had cooked by the time it got to the table, not an issue mind you as they have a help yourself salad bar. Dessert was also top class and a dairy free ice cream was available! Will definitely be back

I went for lunch with daughter. Pre-booking required. I was met by Melanie who fully explained their Covid procedures. They are totally on the ball here. We had drinks and food and it was excellent. Very well cooked and presented. We both thoroughly enjoyed our time there capped off by the stunningly pleasant personality of the manager Melanie. Smiling and welcoming and very professional. A wee applause to server Mary. Charming lady. It was like having your granny give your tea. Well done my darling!

Gents toilets smelling dirty behind door. We asked for a straw for my wife so she could have a drink,she is disabled (none).I am sorry to say I won't be back again.

Was awful had to wait a very long time for the meals. The selection on the menu wasn't good. Kids meals were from two different sized menus but the same sized portions. My self and my partner ordered a gammon steak and a bbq burger, the gammon was all fat , all the waitress did was avoid us. The bbq burger had no bbq flavour. My self and my partner didn't finish as felt sick and have been I'll all week since out visit
