Absolutely disappointed with attitude of the bouncer last night 16th November. He would not accept my daughter vaccine exemption as part of an ONS control group where she is PCR tested monthly and anti body tested. He would only accept the NHS app and nothing more. He was very rude despite it being her 20th Birthday party. She has had no previous problems in the club but this was total discrimination and has left a very sour taste to her friend group who are now organising events outside of Uni in other venues (Its not a small group either 40+). After all that this business has gone through you would think the security staff would be a lot more educated on covid guidelines (and they are guidelines)

Second time going here. Will be the last time. My friends jacket was being held behind the cloakroom and told that “they didn’t have it” an expensive jacket too. Had to ask a member of bar staff to go check because the cloakroom staff couldn’t be bothered. Very rude too. Bouncer cornered me outside to chat to myself and I felt very intimidated and uncomfortable. Understand bouncers need to do their job but this particular bouncer abused that power and just made me want to leave straight away. Shambles of a place.

Not great my friend Mathew had an affair with the bouncer and this led to us no longer being allowed and and permanently barred. Can’t believe he’s let personal life affect his profession.

Very inconsiderate of tourists, don't allow single people to explore Glasgow. Didn't drink, just wanted to enjoy the dance culture. Very disappointed. Don't go.

The place is dangerously overcrowded, with unsanitary conditions, and with extremely rude staff and doormen. The owners and management must be ashamed. In case of an accident like panic or fire casualties are inevitable.

My son was here for a friend's birthday & was pretty the worse for wear..from the minute security found him they alerted the manager who not only called us to let us how poorly he was but stayed with my son until his dad got there to pick him up..the duty of care shown to my son was exceptional. Can't speak highly enough of both security & management! Thank you!

From what I can see 90% of the reviews about this place is of the disgrace that is the bouncer who works here and I agree with them , he is 6.3ft wears glasses and needs to be sacked due to all the bad reviews about him he turned down me and my 3 friends who hadn’t had a drink all had valid id’s and well dressed . transphobic bouncer was giving myself and my friend abuse in the bathrooms, made out that my friend was a predator to women for using a bathroom. THIS IS NOT A SAFE SPACE FOR QUEER PEOPLE absolute scum

we were so excited to go to a very popular glasgow club with our friends who are from here and we got turned down by the bouncer. He said “you guys are too drunk” without talking to any of us or seeing that any of us were ABSOLUTLEY not drunk enough. The bouncer was so rude when we tried to ask for an explanation. We would’ve spent great money here and had a great time but the bouncer denied us without a second glance. No line or anything. Don’t go here.

Worked there for a few months, good crowd, never any problems as such, old school music, great team, it was a good laugh with each other, management were sound as! I'd work there again any day!

Don’t think the bouncers realised they’re working the door at buff club, acting like it’s Buckingham palace. The guy loved the power trip 🫠

Had a great night, only to realise i had lost my wallet with all my ID’s and bank cards! Thankfully the bouncer with the epic beard had been handed it and kept it safe for me to get back. Great night and definitely gonna go back, i would reccomend checking their instagram and seeing if there’s any special music nights you might like as there’s a great selection.

Bouncers said I'd been turned away before when it's my first time going. Do not go here bouncer is on a power trip.

Attended the NYE street party. Bouncers were lovley and such a nice venue but event seemed oversold and poorly managed. Could not move in the place constantly being shoved and hardly being able to breathe- nevermind find space to dance the whole night. Going into the lane at midnight was ridiculous, up the top of the lane you could not breathe however bottom of the lane was empty and no staff directing people to move down so no one was crushed. The one way system was a good idea to prevent crushes but unfortunately made it so hard to move around the venue. Understandably it was NYE so going to be super busy but it felt a bit ridiculous as the sheer mass of people ruined the night.

Cheap place for drinks classic house music, disco & techno aimed at students. The Buff Club enjoy a good night out.

Bouncer decided I was too drunk without even interacting with me.

Cloakroom staff stole my 18 year old brother's wallet, then gave him it back without his bank card. Leaving a young boy trapped 100 miles from home. horrifying abuse of trust.
