Booked a table package for my brothers stag do. This place is amazing, staff are very friendly and when some people tried to sneak into our booth, the stewards dealt with it expertly. Music is also great. Can’t recommend this place enough, will be coming back!

Liked this place until a one big security guy destroyed my night. I was waiting to collect my jacket, but he started to shout at me that I was standing on his way. Do you really think you are a God in this place? You are nobody.

Our work Christmas night out here was a fantastic experience! We opted for a package, and it turned out to be incredibly good value for money (we had that many drinks we couldn't even finish them all). The staff were exceptional, providing top-notch service throughout the night. The music selection was on point, blending a nostalgic mix of 80's classics with festive Christmas hits. The atmosphere was lively, and we found ourselves on the dance floor on several occasions during the night. Would give a 0 star review on this place if I could! Terrible experience, security guards on a power trip. Decided to pin an innocent person up against the wall for no reason and yell at them. Witnessed the head security guard then arguing with two very young teenage girls out the front and shouting profanities at them. Disgusting shameful business, do not suggest setting foot into the premises. Legal action will be taken against these very disgraceful individuals

I absolutely love Tropicana, Fridays are fantastic, 2 great DJs from 8pm till 3am, playing the best of the 80s.

I learned about this place while traveling internationally in June so I decided to check it out one Friday night. Each room has their own vibe so there's variety for when your energy and mood changes throughout the evening. The bartending staff were very professional (low drink prices are also a plus) and I was impressed with how alert the security staff remained as it got busier. Additionally, I was pleasantly surprised to find that a sticky spot on the floor (I assumed from a spilled drink) was cleaned within thirty minutes. No establishment is perfect but many clubs would have left it alone for much longer. Overall it was a great place to enjoy an evening out so I highly recommend it!

Loved the music drinks were eithier watered down bec they weren't what I asked for. Malibu was more like coco Bay ever spirit I had didn't taste right.. I loved the place not the drinks I'd drink bottles if I was to go again it's not on when your paying over £3 a drink you think your getting the right drink I e mailed boss he said there real I said don't make me feel like I'm stupid there not nice try... Fab place for music though amazing for that...

Not usually my vibe but when I was last there I can say this much; good drink prices, attentive staff - both security and bar staff - and the customers are class! I'd gotten myself into a bit of a situation and was stuck hiding from a guy in the toilets. A lassie helped me out by having her and her friends surround me and walk me out. She even gave me her number and insisted I text her when I was home safe. While I know this would likely happen in any club, I was especially happy to have it happen in a club I wasn't familiar with. Club Tropicana - yer customers are a credit to ya!

It was reasonably busy at 9.30 on Saturday. The cloakroom didn't open until 10pm and £2 per item, they also sell flip-flops for tired feet! Two rooms, one was current music with a mix of 70,80,90s and the 2nd room was 80s. The music and DJ was better in the first room, which was ok but we were looking forward to 80s. Only bonus was the 80s room had better aircon so cooler. Loads of age ranges, walks of life there, everyone friendly and no signs of trouble. Resident photographer snapping away and dancefloor kept clean, toilets started clean and then the usual toilet roll all over the floor and sinks, but that's down to the punters. We left around midnight and it was still buzzing, recommended for boogie. A fair amount of places to sit and you can reserve seating areas for groups.

Such a great night out— especially cheap drink with the free membership, amazing bar staff, and wonderful security, and dj is so great!! Couldn’t recommend more

Went to the club on a Saturday, was a lot of fun! Two rooms, one for 90s, one for 70-80s. Prices for drinks were alright, unfortunately we were charged a bit too much due to the staff ignoring the member thing. Music was as you'd expect for a 90s club, crowd was good, bouncers were fine :) 10 pounds entry are a bit much. Would visit again though.

Best place in Glasgow! We recently celebrated my daughter's 18th and the staff were so friendly and attentive right from the point of entry and had the drinks package served fast. Loved the fact their was a mix of ages from 18 to an older crowd of around 55. Everyone Is happy and full of good vibes! We will definitely be back. Thank you for a great night 🙂 A+

We ordered a booth for my sisters 50th for ten of us. The booth was huge and everyone was lovely from the minute we arrived to when we left. Read some things about bouncers but the security were nothing but lovely to us. Great night, great music. Maybe go a bit lighter on the smoke machine haha! Thanks for a great night

If you desperately want somewhere to go to for dancing that stays open till late, this is an option. Very dirty. Dance floor was totally wet. 2 separate areas, 1 for old music and other side for younger crowd. £10 entrance fee on a Friday.

I had a big birthday at Club Tropicana 80s rom with 40 of my friends. We got a big booth so we could all be together and we all had a fantastic time. Music in 80s room was great. Thanks so much!

Great night had for my wife birthday , from the bouncers , bar staff , toilet attendant and waitresses they where all up for a good laugh and made you feel very welcomed , such a good night with no trouble unlike most places in Glasgow city centre .

Staff is nice, but if you expect actual 90s music at the 90s party, you'll be severely disappointed. The dj talks too much and the music is bad remixes of mediocre 90s music. I assume this is to avoid paying for the rights. It feels like a cheap place. The glasses are dirty and plastic and I don't think they should still serve cocktail bowls during covid.

Highly recommend we booked the 25 people ultimate vip package on a Friday paid extra £5 for 90s room. Was a amazing night the place gets really busy was great having our own area with air con the drinks package was good too. Plenty space for 20 of us. Staff really friendly and helpful deffo be booking again

I booked a booth and a bucket of ten bottles. The both was only a fiver... everytime I asked for my booth I was blanked and told I didnt realy book a both( despite me showing them my booking..) .They then told me they can't give me the bucket of ten bottles of ither alcopops or beer ither and told me I needed a peice of paper with ten drinks that I needed to score of when I went to the bar.. also I needed to my 10 drinks in plastic glasses as they werent alowed to give out the ice buckets. I felt like a kid going to the bar with a permition slip to get a drink. Meanwhile other larger groups were given their booths and their 🪣 of iced alcohol with little fire works in it... 4 times I asked and the 1st 2nd times i was told I needed to wait til venga opened. When it opened I went twice.. to speak to a slim ignorant young male who had fobbed me of 2x already, I asked to speak to the manager , and she( a younger than me prity woman with dark hair and zebra striped trouser ,was introduced as the manager) also told me I needed to show her the proof( which I did 2x already) I was told it wasn't actually abooking again. It cost 35 pound in total 3 weeks earlier.i was there with my girlfriend to propose at her favorite night club where we first went clubbing..and also to meet clientel for a business meeting for the food bank as she was the managing director, I was so mortified and angry It ruined my plans( didn't propose) and canceled the meeting of 10 other guests..they continued to entertain larger groups booked into booths but i only booked it under me and my girlfriends name.. it was disgusting how they treated me not as if I was a young kid. I was a 47 year old. It was a discrace yes they weren't to know I had more people comming.. but a customer booking is a customer booking no matter the amount. That was the 17th march st Patrick night... I'd give this place a wide berth from now on, I would not recommend it for any office party because of this 1 night..absolutely disgraceful in my books , iv never had greif in here before, it was usually an enjoyable night the many times iv just turned up with my friends.. but this one important night has ruined it forever. Went here for a friend’s 50th, perhaps we were looking for the wrong thing. Having always enjoyed slightly alternative/underground clubs in my youth, I know this wasn’t going to be The Dschungel, but with a promise of 70s and 80s I thought at least some Prince, Iggy Pop and Davie Bowie were guaranteed. However, not even Blue Monday by New Order (usually an 80s party staple), so to get our £10 entry's worth, we shimmied along a bit to Huey Lewis and the News instead. The other clubbers were generally very friendly, which was nice. A lot of drinks got spilled on the dancefloor despite the signs asking you not to (they were a good effort at least). If Haddaway (in the 90s section), Barry White, Whitney Houston and the typical 70s X-mas party crowd pleasers do it for you, then by all means, yes, “celebrate, good times, come on!”

My two cents: if you are single and visiting the city as a first timer, don't waste your time or bother going here. They (club T Glasgow only)'ve got a weird discriminatory policy of turning away single first timers regardless of how you look. They are better alternatives along the same street you could take your business to. @Club T, please do put up your policy on your profile so that prospective patrons can avoid the embarrassment of getting decline at your doors. Decent enough place but I'm not sure I will come back. My friends aren't so keen on it and being there just reminds me too much of someone who I still care for very much but who can sadly no longer be part of my life (no it's not an ex girlfriend)

Went here on a night out on Saturday, absolutely appalled the way myself and Friends were treated off the manager. We had a problem with our drinks so we said to one of the staff members which then told the manager, he came out very aggressively to the point we were all pretty shaken up and told us to leave and that he didn't have time for this I have never ever ever been told to leave anywhere before absolutely shocking service will definitely not be recommending this place to anyone especially while the manager still works there.

Booked this for my birthday. I had only booked a booth initially, so received a call to state that I had to book a package with it. I was advised to go back on to the Web page and book the package but not the booth and they will merge the booking. I did as advised, when I showed up on Saturday, the bouncer radioed for one of the staff to come get us. When that staff member arrive she proceeded to tell me that I had booked it wrong again, I explained I did as advised to which she just said "well I reserved the booth for you anyway" (in a very rude manner). When the bottle of prosecco was brought to the table, the bar staff member slammed the bucket on the table, waited with her arms crossed and a massive scowl on her face for the sparkler to go out. Once it had, she proceeded to remove the sparkler and storm off. I get that it was busy, but there is no need for staff to behave so rude. When I go out for my birthday in future I will not be booking here.

loved having a retro night out with all my friends at club Tropicana and a little bit of vogue. We managed to book a booth and guest list which was really easy on online. When we got to the club I told the guy at the door and he couldn't be more helpful. Booth was amazing with plenty of room for ten of us. The guy kept coming to check on us which i thought was nice. Even though we left our booth to dance it was always there when we got back. Really amazing night had by all!

AVOID AVOID AVOID Place is shocking, staff including manager and bouncers from Security Scotland are a joke. Went in on Sunday paid for a booth and within an hour my friend had been assaulted. His nose was burst open and i saw 4 bouncers dragging my friend into the back office area. I jumped up and managed to get into the back as well and saw 2 bouncers holding my friend down and another 1 sitting on his chest punching into his face. The bouncers turned round and tried to get me to go back.into the main club area which I refused to do so. Within minutes police had arrived and the bully bouncers had disappeared back into the main club area. Next thing i know the manager or who I think was the manager is next to.me and after about 20 mins of helping him and the poloce to calm my friend down i was ordered to leave the premises myself for no reason whatsoever. I then started walking away slowly and he started pushing me saying are you refusing to leave the premises which I was not refusing in any way. I paid £50 for a booth and drinks which I did not get to drink so they basically stole money from me, my friend was assaulted yet hes made to be the bad personand I am ordered to leave the premises for no reason whatsoever. The place needs shut down and the owner and bouncers need there licenses removed immediately. I have already emailed you through the contact form on your website and my friend was trying to leave the area now that is a blatant lie as he was handcuffed and was sittong down with a police officer. I also did not get angry at all. You mention an unprovoked attack well thats funny as the 1st bouncer I spoke to said my friend was punched first so who is telling lies, security scotland staff or the owner of club tropicana? I want the name of the male who thiught it was ok to start pushing me and laughing in my face . If you cant guarantee the safety off your customer from getting pushed and punched by stafg ypu employe then you should not be running a club.. You stole £50 from me for drink that I did not get to drink.

Did you know that most millenials in Canada do not go out? My friend and I who are 37/38 years young went to this club 2 years ago and were amazed to see so many young people out dancing. It was so refreshing. The drinks weren't great but we were there to people watch and dance, really fun place. I wish Canada had a club like this!!

The worst place iv ever been. No even worth the one star. Bar staff especially Amy totally rude. Got 2 vodkas and they tasted different. She adamant she wasn't changing drink and basically said i didn't now my vodka or it was the ice. I do no vodka as that's all I drink. Will never be in there again

Another brilliant night out in here for work xmas party, 5th year in a row, our group ranges from 18 up to mid 60s and all enjoy the atmosphere. No food so can comment. We always book a both and drinks are reasonably priced.

We had another amazing work night out at Club Tropicana. We booked a great package which included entry, drinks and a booth large enough for our party of 25. As always we were well looked after. We’ll definitely be back soon!
