Waited in queue for 20 mins last night , The bouncer asked my friend for his ID . My friend produced his passport , The incompident bouncer looked at it and said NAH your not getting in ????? Rather strange 🤔 we just walked away as no point arguing with a unprofessional bouncer who is not fit for purpose & should not be in this position as clearly is really bad and a disgrace for this club . AVOID AVOID AVOID!

My daughter and her boyfriend arrived at the door last night and my daughter was let in to the club but her boyfriend was denied, he waited outside for two hours waiting, when he approached again to ask to be granted entry he was denied and then pinned up against a wall, physically threatened and told to get lost when all he wanted to do was get to his girlfriend. He ended up having to leave and found out later that his girlfriend had been sexually assaulted because she was taken advantage of in the club, possibly given a date rape drug. The bouncers are detrimental, abusive, aggressive, downright awful human beings!

Didn't like it. Atmosphere was not up mark. Other better choices are available in the vicinity. Please go for those. Not this.

I drank 2 cans over the entire night and the bouncers said I was too drunk. I was in no way too drunk and I don't appreciate being accused of drinking too much when I was responsible for the entire night

Worst night club ever! Bouncer on the door is lovely , the bouncer upstairs were you pay makes up lies and says your barred from last night when you wasn’t at the place the night before!!! The manager is a disgrace the wh he talks to his staff oh and you are a manger running a club shouldn’t be taken girls numbers proves how unprofessional you are , manger needs a good look at oh and do your job rather than getting numbers from girls !

Rude staff., always closed, lost my jacket with my medications there and they wont even let me in to check because I'm not there to drink. Have tried every day for 2 weeks on the day and time they tell me to. Horrible, this place has made Glasgow a bad experience. If staff reads this at least return my jacket please.

This was a solid venue to go clubbing at, where the staff welcomed us at reception after security checks! The lift has an exciting style, the music and lighting were variated although it is a bit on the expensive side at £10 a person.

The bouncers on the door were lovely, just asked us to scan a QR code, Wasn’t pleased that I had to give my phone number and email address since I know now I’ll get umpteen marketing emails. The lifts to go up to the club are shoddy and shook the entire time. I know it’s an old building, but that’s not an excuse. £10 for entry on a Sunday is obscene, every other nightclub charges between £5-7 on a Sunday night. The entire place absolutely stinks, I was almost sick over the smell. The toilets and bar areas were equally vile, the bar was sticky and soaked with drink. I asked for a gin and tonic, which was only £1.50 which was the only good thing about that place. The girl that served me used an already opened bottle of tonic that was sitting underneath a wall light, she was bitter the entire time and looked miserable and practically shoved the drink into my hand. Was harassed the entire time at the bar by girls carrying shots that wouldn’t take no for an answer. Finally got my drink and the tonic was flat, which I’m not surprised about considering it was sitting under a light at the bar. The drink was vile, and ended up leaving after being there for 15 minutes. Definitely wouldn’t go back, avoid as if your lives depend on it.

I attended 'Sav Sunday' last night for the first time with my friend Tuss. From the moment the lift doors opened we were amazed. I recall my friend even mentioning that he ''felt like he was at a festival''. Tunes were class, (pretty sure I shazamed the entire DJ set) and drinks were cheap. Only negative was that my brother Kai got ID'd and as it turns out the fool left it in the house. Aside from that though 5 stars, will be back next Sunday

Was so looking forward to our works night out female bouncer on door very very rude and refused one of our colleagues entry for having a laugh with another colleague told to stop speaking as if we where kids there where 10 of us we all left

Extremely disappointing experience! The bouncer was very rude to me and my husband. When I asked him what his name was he kept saying "bye" absolutely shocking behaviour by a member of staff!

Savoy is digraceful man went tonight bouncers let me In no problem but the worker inside obviously thought he had some sort of power and didn’t let me in because I was apparently in “fights” because I had blood on my had and cuts but I literally fell on the ground before I went it’s honestly disgraceful man never going again do not recommend !!!!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Staff don't know what they're doing. Had the worst time there, literally spent most of my time arguing with people because they're running cash only during a pandemic.

Charging £15 to get in this dump is honestly a joke. The decor is non existent, it looks like a cheap function suite someone would hire for a funeral of someone no one liked, music was reminiscent of a primary school disco and drinks are horribly over priced and watered down probably.

Bouncers have an extreme superiority complex and seem to enjoy being horrible people. They made fun of my friends after we were a bit upset after being denied entry (for no good reason) on my friends birthday. We weren't even talking to them but they seemed to take pleasure in seeing us affected by what they did- on a power trip and this definitely needs to be addressed by management as I see the same comments about the bouncers in the majority of reviews. We were going to pay £100 for a booth for 9 of us but they lost out on that business after denying 4/9 of us. Will definitely not be returning.

Went here last weekend for some drinks with my out of country friends. We were refused entry as my friends were Bosnian. This leads us to believe that this nightclub supports Serbia. Kosovo does not belong to you.

Way too expensive for a pretty awful night. Went on a Saturday and the music was so bad we left within an hour. Club was way too small for the number of people there.

Brilliant hidden jem in Glasgow, a club run by music lovers, great verity of music through the week, local bands or small touring bands sometimes play at weekend, also offer venue hire, very experienced steward team who don't receive enough praise for the job they do

No propper DJ they just start playing two songs over each other to transition. Only low quality alcohol behind the bar. Bouncers are morons.

AVOID. Staff are terrible, when I was entering I seen two bouncers taking the mick out of a girl who's leg was gushing of blood and just asking for a plaster. Manager is also incompetent.

Bad atmosphere. This club is definitely more suited for the middle-aged person, packed full of 40-50 year olds. Would recommend to stay away if you're younger.

Self explanatory. The dj admitted to mixing tunes using the Spotify crossfade feature when I asked him what he was doing to the music. Also who put a lift as the only entrance to a basement club. Fill the whole thing in with concrete and rebar, preferably whilst the regular patrons are inside.

Just out my scratcher - great night - good laugh - good tunes. Back to my bed now... :)

Top club, first class bouncers great music

Such bad experience. Not only is it very unclean. People are so rude. The security guards are so nice and some of the staff too. But the managers are absolutely rude. Also could say a lot more. Just be careful it’s not a great place to be.

Me and a friend came to Glasgow a few months ago and we decided to come to the door of this nightclub because we wanted to go party. The 2 men on the doors said our driving licenses where fake and point blank wouldn't let us in. We both where dressed casual and had not took any drugs yet we got refused. I am still waiting to find out why? Is it because my accent sounded foreign?

Small Chinese restaurant. Had lunch there the food was cooked when you waited . The food was lovely the chef was very helpful ☺the shops have good bargains . Been to the savoy years ago good night out .

Was here on Friday night music was great but the front of house need to be a bit nicer, returned on Saturday night after receiving an email saying we could be put on the guest list and receive a VIP party package, free entry b4 11:15 discounted after that, reserved seating and use of the VIP area and a bottle of bubbly didn't happen got rushed though the door and ignored

music was good. unfortunately though maybe some of the security team could take a refresher course regarding their communication and interpersonal skills. spoiled what was a fabulous night.

Bouncer threatened me on entrance and ruined the vibe for the night. He needs to be careful as not everyone is as understanding on a night out. The place is groovy but the bouncer with lazy eyes has to go.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Was at this nightclub last night and witnessed something ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. Firstly, whoever that ginger security guard is (didn’t get his name) needs to be booted right out that door and have his position in security TERMINATED ASAP for letting in underage CHILDREN! Then he put his hands on one of the girls who was DEFINITELY underage , who was trying to diffuse a situation between UNDERAGED kids. Then proceeds to try get them all outside so he can watch them all fight? Absolute joke of a place, let people in with weapons and don’t care about the safety of customers, it’s all about the money with them, heard so many stories about the “SAVOY CENTRE” and it’s really been put into prospective for me, definitely not worth the chance to go grab a quick drink from here cause you’ll either be mistaken for someone else, stabbed or probably spiked. Having been a regular here before Christmas a group of us decided to go on sat 13th jan , up until then I would have said this was a great place to go. Last Saturday made me re think this. To Start with the lift was broken ( lies I think) this stopped a few people getting in. Paid for VIP area and que jump that was pointless since VIP closed and there was no que 😒, the DJ played a few good songs most I didn't know he kept talking to much!! Dance floor was soaking and girls falling all over the place. ( normally they have someone mopping it ) Bathroom stinking and toilets hanging off the wall. Was supposed to go for a joint birthday this weekend but due to our experience we are now going elsewhere. Only thing I would say was good was the bouncer ( about 5'9 bigger built with dark brown hair ) there was a creep harrasing my friend he noticed and removed him in minutes.
