Bar Night club Karaoke bar

😠 It’s okay if you’re over 40 or want to bring your gran to listen to some music whilst she knits but for anyone under the age of 40, don’t waste your time and money. The music is absolutely atrocious, coming from somebody who loves all kinds of music, that is really bad. We were by far half the age,... People often mention staff, great, paid, music, karaoke,

It’s okay if you’re over 40 or want to bring your gran to listen to some music whilst she knits but for anyone under the age of 40, don’t waste your time and money. The music is absolutely atrocious, coming from somebody who loves all kinds of music, that is really bad. We were by far half the age, or more, of all the people in there. I’m just glad we got tickets to get in for free, I would have been mad if I’d paid to get in there, big waste of money. Big love for the bouncers, they are the only good thing we enjoyed about the night, they are brilliant and so funny.

Staff have been great, but under paid in December and no pay in January. Unacceptable from the owners! After several false promises of wages they have had enough and walked out. Who is their boss? Gerrard McLaughlin - the father of Paul McLaughlin the owner of Dows Bar. Wage theft must run in the family. Any 5 Star Reviews are all fake, since they’ve all only reviewed this one place.

The floors are always sticky. Near enough no customers. Music is awful. The alcohol is a decent price but that is about it.

Great place to go with a large group for karaoke, really helpful staff and the drinks packages were great to split between everyone. The only thing was that the karaoke playlist didn’t auto play and you had to press play on every song, this was different from other karaoke bars I’ve been to.

Out standing wages to their staff from December and January. False promises of payment due and now all over FB. Best just avoid and no fund them further.

Rented a karaoke room with a few friends and had the best time ever! Has like every song avaliable and gives your friends the chance to jump around like fools together and the staff always made sure we had enough drinks. When finished in the karaoke we headed to the nightclub the music was great and staff where all so friendly! Deffo recommend!

Already low paid staff working in precarious circumstances were paid a limited sum of their wages in December after working really hard to get this new venue on the radar. In January they were paid £0, and were forced to stop due to broken promises from the owner - Gerrard McLaghlin, son of Paul from Dow’s bar. Looks like exploiting your staff must run in the family, do yourself a favour and keep away from this place and boycott all their other establishments.

First visit. So much fun we extended our time and stayed until we were too merry to even read the lyrics. Marvellous.

Private karaoke.....is not very private. Rooms are not very clean and other drunk customers kept opening the door to our room.

They treat their staff badly - thousands of pounds back-pay not paid to already low-pay staff. Disgraceful.

👍👍 An excellent experience at Miller and Carter tonight. The food came out quickly and was so incredibly delicious - the steak was cooked to perfection and the beef dripping sauce was to die for! All steaks come with house fries they can up upgraded to chunky chips or sweet potato fried but we honestly...
