Lovely, peaceful area with well signposted walking and cycling routes- suitable for families and dog walking but I wouldn't reccomend for persons with mobility impairment. The braes are well maintained and users seem to be respectful and take their litter home too. There's often a little coffee van at the the top car park which is a great bonus!

Lovely views over the city, well worth a drive up to it. Decent car park but get there early as particularly busy at this time. Walk down the hill to Fernbrae Meadows for some benches and a nice wee circular. Would be lovely for a picnic in the summer.

Great views over Glasgow onto the Campsies beyond. Easy stroll nothing arduous with masses of open space and car parking at the site. Woodland and open space provide a varied experience although beware there are no restroom or resfreshment facilities so take your own food, drink and a bucket ๐Ÿ˜

This is a fabulous park to go, it's a nice wide open area which is suitable for nice long dog walks. The view over Glasgow on a clear day is beautiful & it's definitely well worth coming here. There's also a wind turbine you can literally stand underneath, just be aware of the high winds if you do this. And when you go off the path, there's also some really nice wooded areas. All in all, a brilliant park.

Nice quick drive up and could have missed it. Open space with view over Glasgow. I say issa nice date night spot but some may disagree ๐Ÿ™‚ Got there just as city light were coming on so got a nice winter's night evening shot.

Great country park within Glasgow for sunset, views and dog walks! All of our dogs love it, suitable for dogs who need space too as very open. Quite a few late night cars parked, can guess the rest... so daylight hours for me! Not well lit and the car park has a few bumps in the road, easy enough to miss those!

Great place, great views, a lot of paths. Definitely recommend to visit it at any time. Easily accessible parking however at certain hours you won't find a space and you will have to park on the street.

One of my favourite places to go with the dog when it is not blowing a gale. Gets a lot of sun, lots of wide open areas and wooded spots. Water runs through this area and plenty of other dog walkers. Highly recommended.

boyfriend says the best trails he has been to in years, pump track is bangin' and he has been mountain biking for years. For me, Im just starting but I found the trails still do-able and really fun. If you just want to walk round it, views are lovely and is open and flat in lots of places, but still has hills if you want to climb them and pay a visit to the windmill. Highly recommend checking it out!

Cross country mtb at cathkin braes is good., not perfect. I use it because it's local, and convenient If I lived further away, I wouldn't justify travelling to use the facilities. Great to have it on the door step though, and fantastic for the community.

This is a brilliant place for dogs. It has so much open space for them to run. It also has a large wood, the beech trees are beautiful at this time of year. Also for the dogs who love water there is a burn running into a big pool. At the bottom of the wood on a clear day you get a great view of the city. It's an easy walk no big hills. There are mountain bike trails throughout the park but they are well sign posted and easy to avoid. Mr Dog loves it.

Fly tipping at Cathkin Braes. Disgusting! Such a beautiful site spoiled by selfish lazy people.

The view of Glasgow from Cathkin Braes is the city's answer to London's Primrose Hill- plus you get more exercise walking to the top.

Nice views of the city from above. I'm not into mountain biking but it seems like trails are nice too. Nice spot to stop at night.

Really love going to Cathkin Braes to run on the trails. There's always loads of dogs and not too many mountain bikers! There are no toilets, but there is a refill station for water.

Brilliant very large parkland. Lots of walks, amazing views of Glasgow. Perfect for picnic or BBQ and walking dogs.

Class for the mtb, so much variety, nothing that's absolutely super hard, nothing reaches black in my eyes which is the only downfall, downhill run would be great, off piste are great aswell but again, all red few black features, area 69 is great for keen freestyle riderz

Grate for walking the dog or with family. If you have mountain bike there are few routes to choose from too. Great space to use

It's a brilliant place to walk dogs. Even if it's busy there is so much space for them to run about. There are woods to walk through which are beautiful at this time of year. At the bottom of the woods you get a brilliant view of Glasgow.
