This park delighted me! It offers adventure as well as relaxation, wild nature and manicured lawns too. Something for every taste! And the castle is right in the middle of it all is the icing on the cake! So like a fairytale castle!

Largest park in Glasgow. Well maintained. Beautiful views. Great for summer picnics. To see the roses in June, July is a must. The most amazing display. Also, look at the new glasshouse which was fully restored in 2022. Now it needs plants inside!

Wee trip down memory lane for me taking my son to the animal zoo, haven't been to tollcross park for nearly 30 years, zoo is very small, but free. Had a walk around the park nothing much changed, the main path through the park was closed as was the 'hot house' as we used to call it. The park itself was immaculate and well looked after

A gem of a park in Glasgow's east end. A wee zoo for the kids to enjoy and a decent swing park too....

Quite a big park and lots and lots of walking involves. I think if you leave the farm and walk round the back somewhere there are fields of sheep, but due to no clear signs or anything we only found out about it once out of the park. The greenhouse is closed and did not see any cafes or other facilities in the park. After walking for miles saw some teeny tiny playground for the young ones. I find it a bit shocking to say the least for such a big park offering such a miniature kids playground. Did not see any picnic tables either. On a plus sign this park offers lots of space for dog walkers. And there is The Tollcross International Swimming Centre with free parking.

It a nice pleasant park plenty of benches for a pit stop lol. Quiet most of the time a lot of friendly responsible dogs and owners. Clean with enough bins for litter and doggy do-do 🐕 lol. Has two children's play areas also great upkeep. Hey big kids also as "When In Rome" as they say ! Lol.

This is a very nice park, I enjoy bringing my dog here for walks. Most people tend to walk dogs here, off the lead also so please be aware of this. There is a kids swing park at both ends of the park also, one near the lesuire centre. There is also a tonne of very beautiful rose bushes in the park that you can walk around to look at.

Absolutely love that place, it is my favourite place in whole area, mini zoo, hundreds of different kind of roses 🌹 I love to walk there with the dogs. Saturday park run events, swimming centre and a gym right beside me. What would you can expect more… maybe more light, nighttime is a little scary there.

Beautiful park with abundance of trees. The animal farm is great for kids, my daughter loves it any time we visit. They have lamas with a new born. Goats, pigs, rabbits, ponies, sheep and various birds to see. The swimming complex was refurbished for the commonwealth games.

I always find it funny in Glasgow how you can have these great wee green places hidden away inside the city that make you forget temporarily that you are in fact close to the centre of the biggest city in Scotland. I enjoyed the rose garden and the big open space that gave you a bit of a over the east end. It's only sad point is the decayed structure in the centre of the park.

Fantastic park to go for a walk and dog walk or even take the kids. There are childrens parks in here, they also have sheep etc roaming the field. Squirrells are extremely friendly here and one will even eat from your hand. Petting zoo is fantastic if all the animals are out. Highly recommended for a family day out, romantic stoll or dog walk.

This place gets 5 stars for memories that once was. This place is no more and doesnt look like the councils going to do anything about it. Its dilapidated mess run down winter gardens building is just a shame. But the park itself is beautiful.

  • 1/5 Andrew S. 3 years ago on Google
This was in a state of disrepair that bordered on disgusting. The animals were in tiny enclosures that obviously disturbed them. We walked once around and left immediately, only using it to teach our son about the unthinking mistreatment of animals that humans specialise in. Really best avoided, sadly.

Lovely park but full of dog poo. My toddler ended up covered and so did I when I sat on a bench that had poo on my it. The animal park is lovely but doesn't take long to go through that's why I wanted to go to the park.

  • 5/5 Linda H. 3 years ago on Google
A lovely park with beautiful gardens and plenty fields for kids and dogs to run about. It's a pity the winter gardens have been left in such a state of disrepair.

A prestigious park in Glasgow. They have a section of the park for the display of international roses, which every few years are promoted in a festival of newly created types of roses. This year (2022) was one such year. There is a wide selection to view and the park itself has a large area for walking and picnicking. A good day out.

  • 5/5 Stuarty B. 1 year ago on Google
Lovely park walk. Swing park for kids. Squirrels running about the huge old trees. Beautiful park in summer with plenty of flowers and also as lovely on a winter day with the crisp frost on the grass or snow laying everywhere.

  • 4/5 Alexander B. 1 year ago on Google
Small park which but has a great area for the dogs. Great to see the new nursery built and the botanic garden getting much needed renovation.
