Great for walking the dog just watch the broken glass all over the place. Would be nice if the council workers did some cleaning up rather than sitting hiding in their vans. Play area needs to be sorted. Great for wildlife

Park with so much potential but needs rejuvenation. Broken glass everywhere, the only seat I've come across is vandalised, as well as any signs that gave information on the park. The amount of wildlife in the park is amazing and would be an ideal place to walk the dogs but there are no dog poo bins throughout meaning people either don't pick up the mess or throw it into the bushes. Wouldn't advise walking the dogs either with the amount of broken glass everywhere. Feel the council really need to step up and make little changes.

Play areas have been vandalised by teenagers and are unsafe for children. Broken glass, damaged floors, snapped fence posts, pointy burnt molten plastic and general waste all around. After contacting the local council we were told that the park will not be getting repaired due to it being vandalised multiple times. Acceptable? Growing up in this area and being a teenager myself I remember "frequently" getting moved on by community support officers or the police for standing around the park in groups. I walk through this park almost daily since this is my route to work. At the weekends the playpark area always has "masses" of drunk teens. I know many people who refuse to walk through the park due to this. So this is where my problem is with the local councils reply. Why should my "children" suffer? Why are these teens left there? Out of sight out of mind? Why is there no "preventative measures" being taken rather than "reactively" refusing to repair. Why should my council tax be used to repair other parks?

Could be a lovely park as there are nice walks, views and birds and animals to spot. Sadly, the park is a mess with people littering and waste bins burned down. I know that a number of locals regularly tidy up the mess but it seems to be a thankless task.

I think it’s great up at the park but I wish people would stop and think before smashing there glass bottles everywhere my dog burst her paw one night on broken glass and its not fare I’m not gonna stop taking her there as she loves running around stupidly so why should I stop taking her maybe the young ones should stop smashing them and start putting them in the bin πŸ—‘ but the problem there is there aren’t enough of them in the whole park only 2 bins.

Lovely landscape and many different types of wildlife but way to much glass and litter which could cut my dogs paws and other people's pets legs some ones bigger than my hand

The park is nice, but unfortunately there motorcyclists organize races on regular basis, driving at high speed and with a lot of noise, making this place dangerous for pets (my dogs get panic, they are terribly afraid, they try to run away, etc), and even for people...

OK, but a lot of Ned's on bikes from time to time. Not ideal for dog walking.
