A Beautiful lovely public park located in Govan, it was gifted to the people of Govan at 1885 by Isabella Elder, in memory of her husband, the shipbuilding magnate John Elder. The park is fairly large with lots of beautiful greenery a small pond with swans and ducks, well tended grass, flowers and trees. There is plenty of paved walkways for an easy stroll. Other facilities around including and Outdoor exercise equipment, basketball / ball court, 2 children’s play area , swings and a model yacht club Over all it’s a beautiful place to go for a walk and Enjoy the beauty of nature or to sit and Relax by the pond or to do some exercise.

It is a big green space, nice walk, but you can't get round the pond for bird poo and would not sit on the bench, also the pond needs a good clean it is a shame also think the council are missing a chance to provide a service and make some money, needs a coffee shop nothing fancy just somewhere you can get a cup of tea or coffee

Nice big park. Several play areas. On the whole well maintained. Unfortunately poorly lit, so after 4.00 not really very welcoming. Large groups gather and have bbq/ firework parties which are never policed.

I've walked and cycled around the park. Very flat and level and steeped in local history. Most enjoyable.

Great place for walking the dog as long as you can control your animals off the leash cos some folk just cannot keep their dogs under control,u know the ones I'm talking about ! They'll tell u it's friendly then it attacks your animal ! Or the idiots who cannot let their dogs off the leash will tell u your dog should be on a leash even though I've got full control of my animal and it's not aggressive in any way even if a little rat dog is yapping at him he just walks away or looks at me for instructions which he complies with everytime ! When I see a dog off the leash I assume it's not aggressive and its owner has full control of the animal but as I have found out that's not always the case !!! Too many KAREN'S about these day's,mind your own and just enjoy being able to walk your dog without fear of an attack from an animal or a Karen 😉🐕‍🦺
