King's Park

Park

👍👍 Not been in the Kings Park for about 40 years. Although it has changed, it is still a pleasant place for a wee stroll. Only in the park a matter of minutes and we could hear, but not see, a busy woodpecker. Noticed this wee stone on a bit of sculpture in the sensory garden. People often mention park,

First time walking the dogs here !! Had a wee chat with a volunteer keeping the sensory garden pruned. It's a lovely space but think the parks department has forgot about it . I will take the dogs back cause as I said it's a nice park 👍

Lived next to park 60 years ago. Forgot how big and beautiful it was/is. Sad that we can't find more money to maintain these lovely spaces.

We used to live in the Kings Park area and many walked and looked into Kings Park itself, like may thing cuts are made. The garden area was by far Stunning so much so many brides had their wedding photos taken there. Unfortunately this is past times,it's a shame really as its quite neglected now we walked in it recently the actual path itself is over grown with weeds moss making it dangerously slippy. Perhaps one day it could be restored back to its former glory.

Great wee park but misses out on 5 Stars due to the landscaping of the main grassy area which is a soggy, mud-laden quagmire for about 11 months of the year. In my opinion, King's Park has the best dog walkers in the city. Kind, friendly and always willing to help if called on, e.g when I lost my wallet, when someone's dog ran away.

Kings Park today, we had a picnic, not many people, mostly dog walkers, it was a nice sunny afternoon.

Great park, quite quiet compares to some other Glasgow parks, easy to walk around and some great view north to Ben Lomond and Glasgow city on a clear day from the Menock Road entrance.

Both playgrounds are in a dire state and really in need of repair and/or update
