Great place to take your dog with so many varied routes. With that in mind it is also good for human walks! If you want to go off the beaten path or the ground underfoot is wet then I would recommend light boots. Plenty of areas good for kids. Bear in mind there are various entrances so pick your poison accordingly.

A beautiful country park with loads if designated pathways. A mixture of pine trees and other native species. Highland cattle are grazed in this area so watch your step. Plenty of free car parking and benches scattered here and there as well as a children’s outdoor adventure swing park. This is a very popular place with dog walkers, hikers, families and local off road vehicles! Set stop the hillside it is worth just visiting for a great view of Foxbar and Paisley. Only downside is a lot of traffic and aircraft noise. I often go for day trips with a shelter and eat lunch , I don’t camp overnight.

Great place for a family or dog walk. Hilly at times, but not too steep. Can be short in parking space but depending from which side you start your walk can leave the car at main street.

This is a great place to go walking, either on your own, with the kids, or with the dog. On a clear day, the views and scenery are fantastic!! There is a small playpark, picnic benches, and benches located in various areas throughout. There is also a good-sized car park. Can easily spend a couple of hours here. Highly recommend.

I liked it. So did the just turned threenager. A wee park there with a wobbly bridge and a hill that he could be king of. Took some binoculars as there was loads to look at. There was even a couple of guys with remote controlled planes which I made him believe that there was elves flying them. He enjoyed that. It was a sunny day and we spent 2 hours there. Plenty parking too.

Great views and a tranquil part of Paisley to go and look over Glasgow and Paisley. There is also a walk that has great scenarios. The city from here at night is also stunning!

It doesn't matter how busy the car park is, you can always go for a peaceful walk and find a nice spot to rest with an excellent view. Providing I don't live far, it is my go to place for a walk :)

This is rapidly becoming a haven for fly tippers and trail bikers. The authorities seem helpless to act. As for the filthy people who don,t clean up after their dogs. It spoils it for those of us who act responsibly.

Great place to go for a walk. My whole family and dog love it. Lovely views and you can see Highland Cattle quite often. There is a carpark in the sky with nice view point for Paisley and neighborhood and some playground for kids too. Recommend to anyone

It's a great place to walk and enjoy the countryside. Only thing was, there's not enough signs for the waterfall or any of the other attractions and feel we missed out on some of it. You should get five stars but not knowing where you were or been I'm only giving two.

Waterfalls, woods, wee bridges, fantastic views. Loved it. Also want to say a very grateful thanks to Richard and Grace who rescued me when I fell on on one of the wee muddy trails across the road from the park and sprained my ankle last Saturday. Above and beyond Richard, carrying me up to the road while my friend went for the car. You're a hero πŸ‘

Excellent place for a walk and being close to nature. Not far away from Glasgow.

A beautiful place to go for long or short walks. Lots of scenery to view. The only downside is lazy dog owners/ walkers who seem to leave their dogπŸ’©πŸ’© lying ! Poo bags thrown up onto hanging branches DISGUSTING!!.

Great views and good for walking the dog. Could be lots better though. Would be great if there was somewhere to buy a snack or cup of tea/coffee/soup, etc'. Also, could be doing with a Cable Car lifting you to and fro the area for those who can't drive, or, for the more adventurous – a Deathslide. Just a thought.

So much space to walk and get away from it all. Paradise for dogs

Definitely a lovely place for going a walk, there are so many different ways that your able to go and explore. Also had a stunning view of paisley and the surrounding areas, if up on a clear night you can see for miles all around it looks stunning. Your also able to watch the planes take off from Glasgow Airport during the day, also able to at night but only really when landing. It is definitely a great spot to take a picnic up and just sit in your car and watch the world go by. There is also a little swing park, for the kids to play on which is quite good. The only downside in that it is very dark at night and there are bo lights. There is no nearby toilets that can be used thus impacting the experience.

Love it. Good for walk with friends and family. Nice and pleasant feel . We took a shower in the water fall. Note - waterfalls will be there only after rainy days.

Great place for walking the Dog, open fields where they can run around. Check local signage for live stock in some of the fields

  • 4/5 Robert J. 3 years ago on Google
We have dogs so it is great to let the dogs run free without fear of cars and bikes

  • 5/5 Scott B. 4 years ago on Google
Thus wee guy's favourite place for a walk. A couple of different routes to follow. Cows use the fields at times but there is always a free trail to follow. Mostly flat. Parking in several places. Sorted.

  • 5/5 Natalie M. 3 years ago on Google
beautiful views. Would be great to have some kind of warden in the carpark though

Great views over Paisley and Glasgow looking North to Ben Lomond and beyond in a clear day. Watch aircraft approach and depart Glasgow Airport, also shipping on River Clyde.

Really nice walk in the park with stunning views onto Paisley. A large section of the park is in the woods, with cosy footpaths, streams and waterfalls. A few places to park your car. You can also take a hike from Pailsley Canal Station to the park, takes about 40 minutes (that's what I did). It look me about 1 hr of leisury walk to cross the park from one side to another. I could easily spend a whole day there, - plenty of nice benches to sit down and enjoy stunning views.

Amazing country park, not very busy -even if there are many cars on the parking lot you won't see a lot of people (park is huge). Amazing views.
