Niceeeee place to go for a walk and have a look on many spieces of plants!

mind-blowing and stunning plants, some thriving more than others. sadly, the wee staircase has been closed for months

Apart from a confusing one way system this is a fine set of greenhouses that show all the rest of the collection not contained in the Kibble , personal favourite was the ferns and jungle fauna in the steamy equatorial area

Great set of glasshouses housing an enormous collection of plants. Plenty to see and photograph. All of the buildings are well maintained and it won't cost you a penny to visit. As good as Kew Gardens in London but free.

Really lovely place to wander around or just sit and sunbathe

Best choice for us on a cold sunny winter day to re-visit the Glasshouse ( within the Botanic Garden grounds). For the duration of your visit you forget the climate outside. Instead you will feel transported through tropical and desert climates. The forest of palm and banana plants were my favourite today as particularly warming after the cold spell of Glasgow weather. Free entry. Also to note in the winter it closes at 4:15 instead of 6pm.

Loved the plants, it was such a wonderful time to be able to walk around in such a tranquil place and learn a thing or two about the hundreds of plants they have here. Thank you botanists/gardeners for keeping this place open for everyone to experience!
