They need to do something about the amount of people begging around the main entrances of the center. More stores are needed it's very limited in terms of shopping. There is an iceland, home bargains, cash convertors, super savers, farmfoods, 2 charity shops, opticians, gambling, rsmccoll & a very limited market space. There's no variety.

A proper type shopping centre with varied shops , from charity shops to cash convertors, , news agents and a good space car park right next to the Iceland, bus station just besides where most buses , first 3 , first 34, etc all run from

  • 1/5 Carol F. 1 year ago on Google
Why is the cleaner locking the Govan road end ,leaving only 1 exit open at 5.30pm when the centre does not close to 6pm making elderly and infirm to walk a longer distance to the bus terminal .

  • 3/5 sarah d. 1 year ago on Google
Since half the car park has been taken for new housing,it's becoming a stressful place to shop.Hardly any parking spaces at some times of each day,and horrendous sleeping policemen have been put into the ground as well, which are far too high in my opinion.I am usually down in the centre everyday, but an now finding myself going elsewhere or parking in a side street if zi really need to visit the centre

Great little shopping centre got a great range of shops from home bargains to iceland and savers and much more 😀

I would say, nostalgic! I don't think the place has changed since i was a boy and I'm 3 years off 50

  • 3/5 Greg H. 1 year ago on Google
Hardly anything open before 09:00 or 09:30, seem to make times up as they go along. Bakers is great but rarely has any hot food apart from rolls until half an hour after they open. Mini Mall is a joke

  • 4/5 Jamie G. 1 year ago on Google
Decent has a few good shops, not as good as it used to be but nothing is

  • 3/5 Bamboo R. 1 year ago on Google
Not so much of a mall but rather a walkway arcade. Could benefit by having more diversity of shops on site.

I haven't been here for several years and was pleasantly surprised. It was at one time a sadly forgotten place but it was full of shops. Not too big, not at all posh, not modern but I'm glad to see Govan centre in a much better state than several years back

Couldn't understand why the man behind the counter would not take the donations from us we had unused bedding plus lady and gents clothing, he was not very friendly.

  • 5/5 Misbaah U. 2 years ago on Google

Good place to bump into old friends and grab a wee bargain or 2,also was a life saver when I was sitting with no power or trying to save what little I had.

  • 5/5 Mayokun I. 4 months ago on Google
It has a lot of stores selling items that an individual or family would need at any point.

  • 5/5 Perry C. 4 months ago on Google
It's just a provincial shopp8ng centre. No great shakes. It does what it does. Shops, food outlets, post office.

  • 5/5 alex T. 4 months ago on Google
A relic of the 90/80s. Rain day shelter. A range of shops with cafés. Good enough.

  • 5/5 DaveG 7 months ago on Google
A handy little shopping centre with quite a few well known shops. Some of the shops are small so don't expect to get the same items as you would in the larger stores, we didn't. It's still well placed for the big Asda to save on your petrol.

  • 1/5 Lesley M. 9 months ago on Google
This is such a depressing place, in a depressing location. I only went in to the Home Bargains, as it was the nearest branch to Asda. The Home Bargains store is fine... But there isn't a lot else in here... Farmfoods, Savers, Iceland, McColls Newsagent, and a nice bakery..... Apart from that really, the place is dead. No atmosphere. There also seemed to be a heck of a lot of "broke people" in here... Wheelchair/mobility scooters, crutches, zimmers etc. Govan is a very deprived area.. Right outside the "shopping mall" there is an unemployment office and a pharmacy... Just about sums the place up really... Couldn't leave quick enough.... Avoid!!!

  • 2/5 Helen K. 1 year ago on Google
Toilets leave a lot to be desired; despite being closed for cleaning when they opened you would never know they were cleaned Corners filthy Shops are not great either

  • 5/5 Angelica W. 1 year ago on Google
The best thing about Govan shopping centre is the woman on the pre recorded announcement who can't pronounce Govan

  • 4/5 SuperPinny 1 year ago on Google
I love this wee mall. No empty shops. All the shops are affordable. Shame the market doesn't run any more, but the one in Renfrew on a Friday makes up for that 😉

  • 4/5 N M. 1 year ago on Google
A clean wee shopping centre. Located in an area that needs the kind of supermarkets & shops that sell inexpensive food, etc. This shopping centre is filled with supermarkets & shops that sell inexpensive food, etc therefor it does exactly what the area needs it to do.

Needs demolished and something decent for the community, like a 5/6 floor amusement arcade for the local youth, with free disabled access, WiFi and herbal tea! Underground car park etc, however glasgow council not got the brains to think about their residents that way lol

The staff are great, it's kept clean and tidy but it's really small size limits the amount of shops. There is only a handful and none of them are great

Its usually okay, however the covid19 issue security guards on some shops, especially Iceland are a bit over zealous and, quite rude and unpleasant Actually,no need to make the shopping experience worse than it is by barking orders at poor shoppers!
