Drumchapel Shopping Centre

Shopping center

๐Ÿ‘ Yes not the best looking place, yes I will even go as far and say it looks scruffy and a mess. I used to think the same when passing it BUT it has something amazing that other bigger shopping centres rarely have and that's amazing staff in all their local shops! Amazing staff that remember you even... People often mention shops, centre, shopping, people, great, good, local, Good,

Yes not the best looking place, yes I will even go as far and say it looks scruffy and a mess. I used to think the same when passing it BUT it has something amazing that other bigger shopping centres rarely have and that's amazing staff in all their local shops! Amazing staff that remember you even though you haven't been in for a while, they always ask how you are, how your kids are and genuinely interested in a wee chat. Always great for a chat. They keep you right and no one selling you anything or pushing anything. They are just everyday people doing a lovley everyday job with smiles, chats and always happy to help.

Run-down but useful shopping centre with plenty of parking and a good Post Office. Handy for the library and the health centre.

The architecture and craftsmanship put in to designing this shopping centre puts the finest malls in the word to shame, the choice of shops to choose from are perfect for the area ๐Ÿ˜the quality of b&m and the best food that money can buy from farmfoods, you also have the local bookies for a wee flutter, and then not to mention the pinnacle of all housing schemes the local pharmacy where all the wise men gather to talk about what they been doing all week while waiting for there medication ๐Ÿ’Š A truly wonderful experience to take the family i love shopping here ๐Ÿ‘€๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‘

The centre isn't a patch on what is was back in the day of course, but it does still have some decent shops. It's not really a shopping centre that you'd go to for an afternoon walkabout - but it's handy for specific errands. FYI shops include; B&M, Iceland, Corner Grocery Store, Savers, Indoor Market, Lloyds Pharmacy, R S McColls, Offsales, Subway & Greggs. There is a Health Centre just across the road and a dentist within the shopping centre. The Butty pub around the corner (Hecla Avenue) serves good food at reasonable prices. Hope this helps!

Needs a lot of new shops. Not very kerb appealing. Food Fare is a great shop, but I wish it was a bit bigger.

Horribly dirty and littered with cigarette butts. Not a pleasant walk through the mall which is open plan and thus allows people to smoke and vape everywhere. So we are breathing in what other people are spitting out.

If it were more like the 80s it'd be a 5 star. Seems run down and not appealing or inviting. Here is to hoping it gets some sort of a major makeover soon.

Not much here... B&M, Iceland, Barbers and a Greggs. Nothing like the place when I grew up there 50 years ago but if those places have what you need there is easy parking a Farmfoods and Aldi store are within easy reach and both have easy parking.

It was a bit if most shops in it , its a good shopping centre , has all the shops I use and more , if I was to make a change, I'd put a TKMAX shops there , and that would be icing on the cake , so please do ๐Ÿ™‚

Please for the love of God some shops gonna come buy up all these empty plots it's so depressing. Honestly it's like a post-apocalyptic wasteland. Worst thing for me right now is the lack of facilities: cafes with high chairs = none. Toilets with room for double pram = none. Literally had to beg at the library to sit down and give my babies lunch with them still in their pram.
