Suffering, like much of the town centre, from being a tad run down with many empty units. Toilets were all out of order during our visit. Its location is ideal and it could be a great place but, like many malls it seems to be feeling the effects of online shopping and the state of the economy to its detriment.

I used to love going here when i was a kid There were lots of different shops. That sold everything and anything. The food court was great. there was so much choice. But now it's a very sad place. I dont know why i mean is it the rental rates for the units ? Is it that online shopping has killed the high street. I dont have a clue but its sad to see that a once busy fun place to go at the weekend is now a depressing experience.

Paisley is lovely, pretty little town with beautiful buildings, friendly people and enough things to do. Chilled out cafes and a few trendy bars.

Very clean & bright but it appears that there are more shops closed than shops that are open for business

Used to be a good place to go- All the shops used to be opened a short time ago: most of the shops closed now.Such a shame in these times.

You can take a tour and shop for less. It's clean and comfy. You'll love the experience

It's the council's and managements fault. Either the rent is too high or there simply isn't enough demand, but this place either needs major investment or closing down. The building has so much potential, but it is like walking through a shopping centre during a zombie apocalypse. However the shop owners who must be struggling, are all very friendly

The Paisley shopping centre has some resemblance to the main shopping centre In Clydebank. “This shopping centre is like the Clydebank shopping centre all over again, it’s dead*” - anonymous friend. Yeah the Paisley shopping centre is okay I guess but there’s plenty of open shops and streets full of busy markets and high end stuff i guess i don’t know really about the quality I’m just happy that I got my HDMI to HDMI mini adapter out of there. There’s also plenty of things to do in Paisley and plenty of shopping Centres aswell.

Sadly, slowly closing down. High st level has a handful of businesses Accord, Pen Corner, Boots, Super Saver, FV, opticians, some other pound shops. Causeyside St level has Greggs, barbers, hairdresser, The Art Department, Alterations. The middle level is closed down, no In shops. Gents & ladies toilets are closed down only the disable toilet is still open.

It's a shame, I appreciate high streets are in decline all over, and there's extensive competition from local malls/retail parks but it's particularly obvious in formally bustling town centres like Paisley

Depressing. A consequence of city planning, restrictions on parking and out of town shopping centres like Braehead. Not much left with a lot of vacant units. What's left isn't really worth the visit. The shops that are left include an opticians, a wig shop and JD sports.

I remember this place being 'unveiled' as a huge boost for Paisley back in the day. Walk through it now and unless ye need a phone case or something from Boots then you're outta luck....... Empty shops, escalators that don't work and the place is falling tae bits.......won't be long before it's turned into flats or something.

Nothing here, place is like a ghost town. Half the shops attributed to this place have been shut for years. Seems like such an unfortunate waste of space, because it is a well constructed place, but there's just nothing there. Only the disabled toilet facilities are still available, and they are locked, so unless you already have a key pass on you, you will need to run around the centre looking for someone who works there who can let you in before you pee yourself.

We visited here to do the lego hunt which my child loves from paisley first. We had soo much fun. Definitely recommend that, it's free to do, keeps kids entertained, the models were amazing.

It has a few decent shops but really needs something worth going out of your way for.

Very tired and sad looking with empty stores. Sad to see such a great wee mall going down the tubes but that's what happens when out of town malls suck the center out a town.

Perhaps it was just an off day, but I could count on my fingers the amount of shops that were actually open with room to spare. There are so many empty lots that the whole place just kind of feels bleak.

You will find many options from the best places that I visit on a daily basis, and there are health facilities

This centre should be ashamed of itself. Took my mum today for lunch and there was no way to get to the disabled toilets. They are in the first floor and the lift is programmed not to stop there. Sure this must be illegal.

To be honest when the paisley centre opened up at first it was good great shops but now there's hardly any shops left if your looking for a party 🥳 dress or anything for a night out this place is not for u as the shops that use to be there are all gone so I really would not recommend going to this place for any shopping I would go elsewhere not very good at all.

#paisley has some nice places to visit such as Paisley Abbey, the museum is closed for improvements, will look really good when its finished not a big town centre, has two small shopping centres and #M&S retail outlet . There are some nice places to eat, has a smaill observatory , still nice for a visit

As the Paisley Centre gets nearer to a complete makeover, more and more of the traders are moving out and it is starting to feel a little run down. Definitely has the feeling that is closing down. More and more units empty. Hope the staff find new jobs. Looks as though there will be a lot less retail space in the new place.

The place is dying sadly, the shops and cafes left are mostly getting ready to close and it's a shame, the social benefits of cheap cafes for older people and those on a budget don't fit into pounds and pence but are of immense benefit to actual humans who get to engage and communicate with each other.

Not worth going to for any reason. The security are so severly so far up them self's. Their like bouncers from the 90s or from the film's rise from the foot soldier. Seriously entitled and ready to pounce you for any minor mishap. They where happy to stop me from entering with my family for pushing a bicycle. Then tried to tell me where to go with it and what to do. Rather than just call it in & ask. Or put it at the side and look after it for me or even chain it to the pole Infront of them but instead I was to go abandon it far away at some bicycle rack which they insisted I do despite leaving they were practically shouting it as I'm going away. So you allow Prams, Trolleys, kids on pushable bikes & everything else in-between. These guys are so entitled I won't be able to return ever after making this review and as they will be looking for revenge and retribution. A lot of this is to do with them not wanting to do their job much more so chit chat and act the tough guy, unless your pretty of course. Do not go with your family. Friends or for any reason. Find the same shops.somewhere else. #LosingBuisness #HardMenSecruity #YouCantBuyManners #MortifiedFamily

I never expected this center to go dead or did I? I’ll tell you how it shut down, it started failing in around 2000 maybe because there rent was too high and since braehead got mobbed it failed more, it lost popularity, customers give shop owners happiness but without them they had to shut down, the paisley centre will be demolished and rebuilt to flats.

Like so many high streets now there are too many closed shops. It looks nothing like the photos and is really shabby! We went to see the Lego figures but a guide would have been helpful. We only found 4. We did however visit the abbey and enjoyed the peace and Gregorian chants.
