Plenty of parking outside the unit. Level entry. The outside is very run down, but once inside there's a wide variety of stock and shoes could have stayed all day. Staff very helpful and nice. Great wee restaurant at very reasonable prices with very tasty food. Highly recommend for older people

WILL NEVER VISIT AGAIN!!!!!! Today we phoned to enquire about the time the shop closed to be informed 5.00 pm. We had a family tradition, since our children were small, that on Christmas Eve we visited Antartex. Today we arrived on foot to find a member of staff locking the gate at 4.05 pm. When we entered the shop the staff did not look happy to see us. They were switching off the lights and unplugging all Christmas ornaments. At 4.15 pm an announcement was made over the tannoy that the shop was closing at 4.30 pm. We spoke to the assistant and said that we had been advised that the shop was not to close until 5.00 pm. Her attitude was she did not really care. They had decided to close early because they were quiet. She then had to come out with us to unlock the gate. Why was this locked when they saw us going in? How were we supposed to get back through the gate,? CLIMB OVER IT??? Not impressed. Staff don't seem to care and are not interested in customers. Would give this company zero stars if I could.

It's not the easiest place to find! But once we were in, it was actually really good. They do a lot of clothing. I love the Tog24 collection, and more importantly, there are prices. Managed to get bedding £60 reduced to £6! Pillow cases from £19.00 to £2!. We had a coffee, which was nice enough. But the seating area looks tired. Maybe just a lick of paint would work. Staff were really nice in all the departments, very chatty and helpful. Would definitely go back.

Huge stock levels, lots to choose from, some great prices. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Loads of parking. Great wee restaurant Highly recommend the fish and chips! It was very well cooked and delicious! We look forward to going back. Only 4 stars as the building needs some work to bring it back to standard.

We always visit this place as it's a quirky shopping village, it feels like a movie set from outside. It needs a big financial boost though, there are leaks from the roof all over and so lots of water filled boxes on the shop floor. It used to be quite a vibrant place but now it feels very crusty and old. It would be good if they did some sort of deal with the Loch Lomond Distillery next door and make it part of a tour or tasting etc. The smell of the malt from the whisky does add a charm to the place. It just needs some love and it would be a great tourist destination.

Bought the cutest wellies! But god were they expensive! The cafe was quaint but these shops seem to appeal more for the older generations rather than us young folk! I love charity shops and all that but there wasn’t really anything there worth buying that i could actually use.

This NOT a outlet center. It is a shop with old fashion where the staf not happy to work there. So NOT a outlet like the outletcenters in the VS and Europe. So waste of time to go there.

Great wee hideaway with some brilliant bargains and a great wee cafe/diner. If only this place done a joint venture with their neighbours at Loch Lomond distillery as they have the land to do it they woukd make an absolute fortune with visitors and tourists.Loch Lomond distillery dosent have a visitor centre, nor does it do tours, but if these two companies would work together they would create something special and bring each other alot of business. Unfortunately, I think the problem lies with the owners of Antartex village,"Edinburgh woolen mill". I've been told its them that's not playing ball.

Spent 20 mins trying to find Loch Lomond distillery shop, which it appears is buried within this place, not easy to find. Very dated interior but my wife says it had some good bargains. Whisky selection not too bad, if you find the shop

Good shopping outlet with lots of bargains to be found. The place itself is a bit out of the way and looks very rundown from the exterior. There is a good cafe area, toilets and several well known brand names can be found at discounted prices. Perhaps it might prove a source of more affordable Scottish gifts for any cash strapped foreign tourists

We went here not expecting much. It is in a really scruffy area just next to Loch Lomond whisky distillery. From outside its not much to look at. Once inside its like a mini department store. Lots of shopping for clothes in the Edinburgh Woolen Mill part. There is a Ponden home part, with lots of nice blankets and sheets. We spent about 40 mins in the whole store as a family of 4. 17, 21, 40 and 48 year olds. I wanted to go to see if there is any links to the nearby Loch Lomond distillery. Wander in far enough and you will find a well stocked Whisky section of the store. It has a large selection of Loch Lomond whiskies and others. It slightly makes up for the fact that the distillery has no visitor centre or shop.

Unexpected find. Has the look of a run down or closed building Right round the rear of a built up area, but once inside lots of choices of clothes, books and fancy goods. Small cafe inside with helpful staff.

Many people dislike Antartex Village purely because of its situation. It sits behind a brewery which admittedly does not make it a very picturesque setting. Get past the location and you find a shop selling a selection of clothing and soft furnishings and the usual tourist trinkets. Items are reasonably priced and there is a cafeteria serving a variety of filled rolls, snacks and breakfasts all at good prices.

Would have given 5 stars but for the refurbishment work which meant some of the usual items found here weren't available. That said we still found some excellent bargains and the staff were very friendly, especially the man at the main cash desk... exceptional customer service from him. Plenty of parking and there's also a cafe although we didn't use the latter. Well worth a visit.

Went to Ponden home shop in the village, the staff were amazing! So helpful with our purchases and told us about the local area and where was good to visit. It was lovely to get genuine customer service.

Good selection in the whisky shop with reasonably priced specials on the local distilleries' single malts. Found the staff to be friendly and really helpful.

Stopped at Anthrax Village with a coach trip. Apparently short staffed however if it was better organised it wouldn't be such a shambles ordering at the cafe. You don't have much time on a coach break so drink and toilet essential. Bit of a nuisance when you're stuck in a queue with actual shoppers ordering food. Ended up with about 10 mins spare to drink a scalding coffee. Not impressed.

👍 Good cafe on Loch Lomond shores, with great view. There was no hot food at that time (3 pm, I guess), just coffee and sweets. There was no outdoor setting area, knowing that it would have been wonderful if available. Good indoor settings, and they have a wide variety of sweets, pastry, and cakes. Go...
