Absolutely shocking service! Sorry but this is going to be a long one. Went in to purchase a bag so looked at Balmain salesman was great and helpful. Went to Prada- these guys are always spot on but tbh they are down marketing themselves being in house of Frasers they should be in Edinburgh tbh. Anyway went to Chloe, sales girl was serving a man. So I stood patiently. I looked at her put my bag down waited. No eye contact no sorry be with you in a min. She really couldn’t be arsed and she wasn’t the only one! At this point I’m thinking what’s the issue here why wouldn’t u even look at a customer or approach them? Anyway I waited a long time- no sorry for waiting. . I looked at the bag and decided I didn’t like it. Went over to the Burberry section.chose a bag and had to ask the security guy for a sales person and btw he was lovely- he actually had a go at the guys saying I know we under staff but come on. Anyway, he got me a sales girl. I said I wanted to see the belt out. Sales girl said “oh you can help yourself”. I was fuming but did well in not saying anything back. This is Burberry not any bag! Anyway I decided to purchase it there was a mark in it- she didn’t bother to check if she had anymore . Said I can give you 10% off/ thought that was fine was a small mark. Go to the cashier and she put a dust bag on the Burberry bag and put it in a big carrier bag. I was going to question her about the box but at this point I was livid either I was gona walk out or have a go at her. I’ve checked with Burberry they have boxes for all bags- so again she couldn’t be bothered to get it. Literally disappointed and wished I hadn’t went in. The customer service is diabolical at least have some customer service skills. Won’t be surprised if house of Frasers is no more. Terrible service! Go elsewhere!

The staff were pretty unhelpful, all looked like they hated their time there. Also looked at me and my group a certain way. Had 10% of the stuff they offer online.

Love the quality and brand names. Got a Calvin Klien t shirt and a Polo. In sale. Not bad! £45 & £40. Got pair of designer jeans 👖outta Reiss £145Ooch!! Expensive but so feffin worth it 😃and a lovely candle

Absolute joke of a company. My nephew paid £280 for a pair of trainers that after 4 days became faulty. He took them back to be told that because he cut the tag off them that he can't return them. I went in to argue his case and spoke to a store manager who basically said it's like cutting the Nike sign off a t-shirt and then trying to return the t-shirt 😂, another return refusal. I advised I would be contacting trading standards and get refunded that way. After speaking to my sister to advise her what happened she then told me the person who sold him them told him he could cut tha tag off as he Wasn't 100% keen to buy them because of the tag. So now he got told lies to make a sale, I didn't have this point to argue in the shop as I didn't know but I will make sure he gets his money back. 16 years old, saves up his own money to get ripped off by a massive company 🤬

No free returns when purchased on line. Can’t return to store either. No customer services number Email takes days to receive a response. I expect better service. Won’t buy from them online again

Purchased a pair of trousers today, on returning home they are wrong size, tried both by phone and online to get an answer to my question, do they have them in stock of size I require. Absolutely no system to reply to such a simple enquiry. Staff in store excellent, but this blank response doesn’t encourage return visit.

The best department store in glasgow by far. Always a good experience staff are friendly and genuine.

While visiting this store, I became faint due to dehydration. Staff, Fiona Adams, offered me a chair, water, conversation, time, and most of all, her kindness. Blessings to you Fiona, and all the other kind angels of Glasgow. My heart has been deeply touched

How very disappointing to find this iconic store has gone rapidly downhill. The fixtures and fittings are somewhat dated and the flooring, which in many places has holes which have been taped up with stick tape and is an accident waiting to happen ! The staff albeit hard working lacked the service expertise which patrons of the store once enjoyed ! On the positive side … Great store if you’re In the market for overpriced sports wear !

Charlotte Tilbury counter..I asked for a colour match for the newish foundation and was drilled on other foundations that I have used, and then recieved an abrupt 'No we dont do or give out colour match samples'..I was taken aback by the ignorance of this you girl and her attitude towards me..and perhaps other shoppers she may serve so negatively...no name badge either, my experience at Charlotte Tilbury has mostly been very good, such a shame the quality of staff has gone downhill.

Very poor customer service in the perfume shop , I stood about like a blue arsed fly for about near enough 20 minutes wanting to buy an after shave for my husband , told to wait and they'll come help me purchase it , no one came and I walked out to the tom ford counter instead , where I was greeted by a man who spoke to me so very nicely about the different scents and after shaves , I ended up purchasing one from the tom ford counter and it got made even better. The lovely man wrapped it up and put it in a gift bag , tom ford go above and beyond , I will not be going into the perfume shop bit again after so many years the service is now a let down and will only be purchasing from the counters 😀

I was in the Christian Door counter and the girl Heidi was an absolute delight, she got me exactly what I need and also some stuff I forgot I needed, she was lovely, I like to be quick and she fully enabled that. Was in and out in 10 mins and for me that perfect and as I said her manner was delightful. One happy customer

Surprisingly good! Not that it might not be, but I've never really gone there for clothes before. They had a huge selection of styles to choose from and many were v good value. A lovely building to visit and the staff were really helpful.

Incredibly unethical store with exceptionally poor customer service. The store does jot do refunds even when returning the next day with tags on and receipt. I was not told this when purchasing and was told my multiple dead behind the eyes staff that it wolas on my receipt and they had no obligation to tell me. No logic to this - if it's on the receipt then the damage is already done. Staff couldn't have cared less, they may as well have AI bots processing transactions. I was genuinely shocked at their policy and staff attitudes.

What on earth has happened to this once great store? Poor shopping experience. No character anymore. Generic white cladding throughout. No imaginative displays .as before. Hardly any staff available. Used to be a real treat coming here and was always a mark of high quality. Sadly no more. Sign of the times I guess.

Good old fashioned upmarket department store in City Centre on the main street. Huge choice of luxury and middle shelf brands. Big interiors, ample of space. Nice displays. Professional staff. It might need a bit of TLC in some places and some maintenance work as some 'corners' look tatty. Defo a place to visit/shop

Not a fan. I never know how to find my way through this department store. Its a total maze! Ok. Has many of the super expensive brands if you like that kind of stuff and good choice of cosmetics products but maybe overall just doesn't appeal to me.

Not sure how to rate HOF now... Given the cost of a designer label or the all at least 12 customers in store. Personally would not pay. Be seated for this £200 for pool rubber shoes as such with Karl H face on them. This years range was very much Little House on the Prairie to Biker Grove!! YES Biker jackets are by all accounts a must. Price range. Got some loose money.. Get ready to spend over £300 on a jacket. As for now quiet it was. Tumble weed was rolling in the doors. With cost of living reaching an all time high, the bored looking staff have their work cut out. Or spend a months salary on eh a bag & jacket. Roll of the eyes says it all...

Nothing bad to tell. Staff are always helpful, and knowledgeable. Lots of different choice of stuff that one needs anytime in a year. You'll never get disappointed on what you get there. I remember I was so absent-minded one time and left my purse on a pile of clothes after paying the bill. Luckily, when I found that out and returned to the shop almost two hours later, I was led to the security officer and got it back. Thank you!

Great shop want perfume for the good ladies, aftershave for the men,clothes well worth the visit staff in all departments most helpful no matter what your looking for they will help. So I do recommend you visit

Frasers department store is not what it used to be. Full of staff and customers enjoying a great shopping experience is a thing of the past. It now lacks atmosphere and no longer offers glasgows ultimate shopping experience. Frasers still offers its usual high-mid end brand shopping but possibly as a result of the difficulties all high streets have faced it appears to be flagging. FRASERS its all about the experience you offer when customers visit and at the moment you don't.

One of the better establishments on Argyle Street. Glasgow is slowly but surely losing its reputation for quality shopping. Rates too high ?

Visited today for the first time in ages and it was great to be back! I knew I was in Frasers, from the smartly dressed member of staff who held the door open for us, to the warm smiles from helpful ladies (and men) on the shop floor....but ah the smell! Gorgeous, expensive, exclusive products all available in one place, there’s nothing quite like it in Glasgow! High end quality, all the top brands, well organised and orderly, no raking required. Today we were shopping for menswear; a suit for a wedding specifically. The staff in general are helpful and knowledgable but not pushy, they leave you in peace to browse. The men’s formal wear staff were no exception to this. When required we were assisted by a great guy, George (I think) who made us feel comfortable, no hard sale, but he really knew his stuff! We had a very enjoyable experience and we left the shop with exactly what we wanted. I absolutely recommend. Class.

Nice staff. Excellent location, the street has lots and lots of other great shops and we spent the entire day on that street. I’ve been in at an earlier time when lights aren’t up and it is still a great view over the staircase but the Christmas lights just top it off. Lots of good brands and good discounts.

Shopping for suits for my daughters wedding (all seven of us) and amazingly found all the same suits in all the sizes we required in the one store, and each suit was £60 less than was on the price tag, absolutely perfect and the staff were amazingly helpful 👌

Worst customer service ever. Purchased 2 pairs of slippers at 90.00. No slippers and no refund. Over 30 messages and 3 blatant lies later, still no product and no refund. Thef at its most basic level. Absolutely appalled by House of Fraser.

Sad day shopping in Fraser's . Retail standards were absolutely less than poor . Customer service non existent in every single department I visited. Needless to say I left without make one single purchase . You think the management might want to capitalise in the loss of Debenhams on the high St . This was my second visit in two weeks the first was the exact same but thought the weather may have impacted staffing levels but it's just really really badly managed .

Signage absolutely dreadful leading people with disabilities on a wild goose chase to find anything. No logic to store layout. Store itself clean, modern and Cafe Nero staff great. If anyone finds the gents on the 4th floor you are a great explorer.

Bought an expensive vivian Westwood wallet ... box was shabby, asked for another box , which was a problem , shop assistant was not a happy bunny.. on insight should have ordered on line, trying to keep retail shops open.....

Love this store. Popped in as always to visit perfume department and found 2 amazing members of staff. Even though we weren't purchasing anything, took their time to talk to us about new perfumes, Prada in particular, and I will certainly will pop back in again nearer Christmas to pick up some suggestions for my daughter's Christmas. Thank you both for your wonderful service today.

The store is beautiful, it is a stunning building so worth going in just for that. There are so many products and brands, gucci, hermes, miumiu, prada and many more.

Oh dear! Disappointing selection of ladies clothes. They seemed to be rejects from other stores :( Staff look sad. Didn't have that "Frasers Atmosphere" few customers.....we just left! This could be an amazing Department Store! Hope there's an improvement before Christmas.

This is one of my favorite department stores in Glasgow. Floors and floors of amazing shopping that is greatly enhanced with a warm, friendly and amazing staff. Shopping heaven. If you needed it they will have it.

Selection of high end fashion items under one roof is amazing

On my visit to the Glasgow store last Friday. I visited Clarins to purchase a gift. After the excellent attention from Dana and Anne who took me through their best deals, helped me select something and gift wrapped it for christmas I eventually left with 5 more. Great shopping experience served by 2 very professional staff who really know their job .
