Bought a hamster cage which broke when it was taken apart for cleaning. Took it back and was asked for the date of purchase so that the receipt could be found on the computer system. Happy to comply, I returned the next day with the information only to be met with Margaret, who immediately argued that the broken part had been dropped, then suggested that I could have bought it elsewhere and was just bringing it to them. Perhaps the range should suggest to their staff that I have a legal right to return a faulty good and that not all customers are unscrupulous and dishonest.

This place sells out of date food. Avoid like the plague. A friend bought pork scratchings (yes I know, foul things) dated October 2021. 7 months out of date!!!!!!! Absolutely disgusting.

The shop is a decent size and has good availability of stock. Biggest downfall in the checkout area. We visited today and it was chaotic. Not accessible for disabled folk unfortunately(at the checkouts specifically but alot of the aisles are cluttered and narrow)

A good store, with the usual Range products, however beware you don't spend too long there, as you may receive a parking ticket via the mail from a private company. It would seem the Range have allowed or sold parking rights to a private company who dictate how long (90mins) you can be there before receiving a ticket, via a camera. Disgusting behaviour by the store!

Disgusting my husband has been in hospital for 10 months I have had to sell my house and buy a small ground floor flat.I bought wallpaper from the EK store and was 4 day late taking 1 of the roll back (12.99) The manager there Robert was totally unhelpful and unsympathetic to my position I even asked if I cld take a credit but Robert was very stroppy it was like I was just wasting his time.I will never shop there again,and used to spend a lot and I mean a lot of money BUT ! NEVER AGAIN. I am so angry.Who reads their receipt unless they think they have been over charged .You have to make sure the staff tell people that they only have 14day to return...

Lots of great products in this store. However the guy behind the till who took care of my returns was quite short with me.

OK the store was well stocked and was tidy But what was the point of having all that staff if no one is willing to help you. I was in retail for 20 years and was always told to have high eyes, make sure you look about to help customers. Every single time I go in I can see plenty of staff but they are never willing to help you with any questions and when you ask them where something is it's either a I don't know. And go back to stacking the shelf or a simple it's over there somewhere. This is a joke how can you think it's OK to treat your customers like this

The store covers household goods, every day items as well as outdoor. Good selection of most items. They have a cafe on the first floor which has a reasonable selection of items. Plenty of parking in the small retail park which also has a Currys and Pets for You stores.

I went in to have a look at the easy readers and to use the baby changing room which was easily accessed from the lift at the back of the store from the ground to floor1 where we were able to use the baby changing room a very pleasant visit!

Good selection of stuff - for home, garden, crafts, and some not so good clothes. Staff are generally very dour, maybe not a great job but would engaging with customers be too much to ask?

The shop has a very good amount of choice. My only quibble is that the cafe is a big disappointment. We have tried to use it on several occasions but with only 1 assistant on duty each time serving, making up items and cleaning tables we watch customers give up waiting. Our longest wait was 9.5 minutes to be served.

Love this store, you go in for one thing and always end up leaving with an armful of stuff you didn't know you needed 🤣 great selection of homewears and pet supplies. We definitely did not go in for a large green Christmas gnome but are delighted we left with one!

Called in for an item for my grandson. I could not find it, so I asked a member of staff, a young man. Not knowing what it was, he went and asked another member of staff, who believed this item had been returned. I thanked them for their help and went down the escalator. The young man came looking for me, and had gone and had another look, and located the item. Wonderful customer service. So refreshing to see.

The cafe served me uncooked pigs in blanket. Over cooked sausages and a brick for a slice of bread. The woman serving was lovely. The food wasn’t. I couldn’t eat raw sausage I’m sorry.

Not one actual checkout on. Long queue and people having to put stuff up on the customer service desk (which isn't suitable for more than 1 item!) to be served. Few weeks before Christmas. Lots of staff in the store but only 1 person serving at the desk. Not ideal and I won't hurry back for this reason.

Bit cramped especially with social distancing. Good choice of products but need to concentrate on pricing.

Amazing place with lots of lovely things to catch your eye. The Sales Assistant looked fed-up and didn't speak at all, however, they did say thanks at the end of sale.

I want to love this shop so much but everytime I visit it is crowded with stock, unopened boxes of stock lying on the floor, products in the wrong places, and loads of prices missing.

I was looking for poster and certificate frames, I got an A3 frame for only £2.99, couldn't get a frame for the certificate in a close size but got larger one which gives a 30mm border all around and has a frame, £5.89 cost.

Went into the store at 4.30pm Tuesday I bought a couple Christmas decorations nice young lady served me. Went home and went to get my handbag couldn’t find it. Phoned The Range had substantial amount of cash keys and cards personal things. Young lady I spoke to said yes you left it in trolley ifs safely upstairs. All intact! Thank you Range very impressed.

Love the store coffee has decently improved. Just don’t use the toilets unless you have no other option they are disgusting. The stench hits you first as you open the door then the signs of mould and bacteria.

Handy place for all your day to day stuff and gifts. Staff are much nicer and competent here than the staff at the other place (hb) across the road. Can find some good deals here. A big drawback the place has, however, is that prices often go UP between picking something off the shelf and going to the till; staff are baffled by the difference between whats on ticket and what's on till and do nothing but waste your time when you point it out to them.

Pretty useful for household items some furniture, a few DIY products and some kitchen electricals... Nice prices. If they have what you want it will be a bargain, so always worth a look.

Love the Range. I bought Christmas baubles in Dobbies for £3.99. Got the same baubles in the Range for £1.79. Dobbies pack better and give better service. Service extremely poor in the Range but I tolerate it due to the prices. I had to ask for something to wrap the glass baubles then wrap them in the brown paper myself as the queue was too long. It was in Paisleyso I felt an inconvenience. If the service was better they would have got full marks.

7.80 for 3 bottles of water and 2 packs of crisps! That was in the cafe. Went after school and they had no hot food. Shop was a riot, couldn't find what we needed and kids got fed up as they couldn't find a member of staff to help

The Range never crosses your mind when you are browsing the net for that one thing, Yet they stock almost everything amazing how many times I have found what am looking for at a reasonable price at The Range

Visited this store on 11th May, had a walk round, and got a bit fed up looking at products with prices missing and no staff to ask how much it was! Went to the cafe where the coffee machine was broken, and the lady serving made tea & coffee using a hot water machine, but prior to this, she was scratching up and down her top! She then handled my croissant, no gloves or tongs!! Disgusting practices!!! I decided to visit the ladies, and as you can see by the pictures, this is what met me at the door these had to be the worst toilet standards ever, I don't think they have seen a cleaner in weeks. How the Range can think it's acceptable to have these toilets in this condition for customers??

Like to have a wonder round here from time to time, and just discovered from 3pm the cafe has Happy hour 👌 all coffee £1 til closing that makes it EK cheapest coffee going. Just based on that I would highly recommend.

I bought a storage bench, and found it difficult to build ,I phoned the store and spoke to the manager Tony who advised to bring it back to the store and his staff would happily build it for me,customer service was fantastic and I would highly recommend this store .

I was led to believe that the dog food i was buying was on offer. I got to the till and was told that it was no longer on offer had ended. I would also not be getting the dog at the reduced price due to company policy. Please be aware when buying from this store/company not all the prices are correct and they will not honor it .
