This cafe has a lot of great ideas, but the execution and overall experience just moved it further down my list of potential breakfast/lunch spots after several disappointing visits. I am always keen to promote good vegan eateries both at home and abroad, but after several visits over the past year, i find the flavour combinations lacking thought, the ingredients lacking good preparation/seasoning; However I must say the presentation is always excellent. The coffee is good and the staff always friendly, but I would recommend waiting for a refreshed menus with some better constructed dishes. Overall my experiences have been OK, but with such great options literally on the same road and across the street, Serenity Now just needs to do better.

Great vegan food! We can here for breakfast and loved it! My partner had the Mac and cheese and I had the breakfast burrito which was awesome. I also had the luxe hot chocolate which was super indulgent 😍 100% vegan cafe too 🌱

You need to go to Serenity Now, now! All vegan and all amazing. I've been here twice now and I am already looking forward to my next visit. The staff are all friendly, chill and know the menu well. Creating a great vibe. Whether you prefer savory or sweet there's something here for you. My personal favourites have been the burrito and slam pancakes. There are several gluten free options as well.

You must eat here! Literally the beetroot Reuben made me LOSE MY MIND! So freaking delicious. I will have dreams about that sandwich. I also tried the green goddess sandwich which was exceptional. Super friendly staff. Great atmosphere and cute color scheme. The black tea kombucha is earthy and unpretentious. Plus, CBD. Basically Vegan heaven. Visit, eat and enjoy. Yum yum yum!!!

Sandwich was ok but took nearly half an hour to assemble. I had ordered it to take away so by the time I got back to the office to eat it I was extremely hangry. The cafe wasn't busy, and there were a couple of hipster-looking kitchen staff on duty, 'working' at a lackadaisical sort of pace. Also, the sandwich cost Β£7, which I think is pushing it. But, the sourdough bread it was made with was properly delicious and the girl who took my order was friendly.

I’ve just discovered Serenity Now and can’t wait to go back. I had the Huevos Rancheros (Gluten Free Option) and my husband had Beetroot Rueben, both with their signature Serenity Now smoothies. All absolutely delicious! Large servings, filling food, and friendly welcoming staff. Relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended.

The food's gold. Gold! The vegan dishes on offer are real and they're spectacular. The price is also amazing for what's on offer, no contest. Affordable for all whether you're a student or a successful architect and it's in a really nice area. There was no standing around waiting to be seated unlike some other restaurants I've been to and the staff were very friendly. Give them a high five. If you're vegan and need somewhere to grab a bite, giddy up.

My original plan was to try everything on the menu over a number of visits, but the Beetroot Reuben is so good that I've not made it past that. Great food and a nice place to sit and watch the world go by.

Been dying to try here for ages (after showing up not realising it was closed on certain days). Went for a lunch and got a soup and some bread. The soup was delicious.. but the bread had been drenched in oil which was a wee bit too much for me (but still tasty). My friend got the pancakes and she said they were delish!

Went with a friend to celebrate my birthday. She's not vegan and LOVED the food. I think that's a huge recommendation. Friendly staff seemed a little overwhelmed at times. We weren't in a hurry, though. Loved seeing the dogs who were welcomed as royalty.

Our party ordered a lot of food and it came relatively quickly and efficiently. Drinks and range of choices on the menu were good and most of the meals looked really good - myself and a couple of others unfortunately ordered the burrito which was very disappointing - a wrap filled with pretty much 100% rice - very bland and tasteless - would suggest it be taken off the menu and recommend you order something else when you go

Great wee cafe to enjoy tasty and affordable vegan grub. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The place is full of wee nods to Seinfeld which is a fun wee touch if you are a fan of the show. The food was excellent too. Would recommend the fresh lemonade with ginger, and the mac and cheese. Would definitely return and recommend to others!

I had a breakfast burrito and it was incredible! I legitimately wish I could have one every morning it was absolutely delicious. Also has a chai latte which was lovely and very tasty bit of chocolate banana bread. Couldn't recommend more, will absolutely be back for more next time I visit Glasgow

Had an amazing vegan brunch here with a friend. I had the breakfast smash, they had one of the wraps. Both were decent portions. I was a little unsure about the scrambled tofu as a concept but it was delicious. Would heartily recommend regardless of dietary requirements

Couldn't fault this place. We ordered two coffees and the s'mores pancakes, it was all delicious and really good value - I have a big appetite and had to take 1/3 of the plate to-go. Waitresses were so friendly, unobtrusive and efficient, food and drinks came out quickly. Our first visit but definitely not our last!

Food was delicious! Highly recommend their burrito it was so good - flavor, size, all of it! They have great vegan options, I’d like to come back and try more.

I had been expecting good things as most of the reviews are positive but i was very disappointed. I had the Pancake Smash and found everything to be under seasoned and far too sweet apart from the pancakes that could have done with some kind of syrup as the dominant flavour was baking soda. My mum had the brunch burrito and this again was just far too sweet and under seasoned. The staff are very nice and the place looks great but on this occasion the food was sub par.

Went in for lunch after hearing good things about this place. Ordered an oat milk iced latte and the smores pancakes which were both nice. The menu was a quite limited in comparison to others places. Prices are affordable for the west end.

Had a lovely lunch in here with a friend. Its completely vegan and in the West end of Glasgow, a nice walk along the river Kelvin. Sadly, I forgot to take any photos! I got a seitan ("chicken" style) wrap. It came in 2 wraps that were so huge, I I had eat them with a knife and fork and could still barely hold a conversation as they required so much chowing down! My friend had a burrito bowl and an oat latte. My cola - advertised as Fentimans (and probably charged as such) was actually the much more inferior tasting, but retro branded 'Bom Accord'. Apart from that wee minor disappointment (and the swap not being mentioned), it was a nice place to lunch. The menu is extremely limited and, even as a long term vegan, there wasn't a lot on the menu that was to my taste. It would be great if they could increase their menu or swap out a few things and replace with eg a burger or curry or something (I don't like barbecue flavour, smoked anything, or chilli type food). Also, also the wraps I got were far to big to hold and eat (shame!) the plate was also only a tiny tea plate, so when I tried to eat the wrap with a knife and fork, the bread and salad and added seeds and some crunchy stuff kept spilling over onto the table. The staff were great - attentive but not intrusive, and water was provided without having to ask for it. I'd definitely go back.

Irony: KI (me) at 326pm "hi, you open?" SN (them, sweeping up) "sure!" KI: cool I'll grab a menu please SN: sorry but the kitchens closed KI: oh, I thought you're open til 4? SN: yeah, we are but the kitchen closes a bit earlier KI (puffs of smoke rise from my ears, as I shake my head, turn to leave, and recognise the irony of this perfect Seinfeld moment). SN...You're a food place that sells drinks and food. You're open or You're closed, or you have a big sign that says Kitchen closes at Xpm.

I’ve been a vegan for two years and also work at a vegan cafe myself, this place knocks it out the park for balance of flavours. Had the breakfast slam this time and it was perfect, especially loved the chilli butter with the pancakes. Also loved the chaga latte - a first for me!

It was blowing a gale when we arrived and 3 Celsius, but cafe was warm with door shut. When food arrived the staff opened the door. I asked the manager to shut it, but she refused, as she β€˜was trying to keep herself safe’. None of the other restaurants in Glasgow that we’ve been to insist on this and it totally ruined our meal. Food was very nice!

Lovely cafe, great food, service could be a bit better but it may have been because they were still finding their feet when I visited, nice place to have brunch outside on a sunny day, and in a great location on great western road.

A really nice little cafe tucked away in the West End of Glasgow. The vegan brunch was a really nice take on the classic. The soft pillowy pancakes and extra hash browns stole the show. And well done for them having CBD coffee on offer, always sets up the rest of the day.

Fast becoming my favourite vegan eatery. The food is fantastic, proper plant-based and imaginative, not just vegan versions of meat dishes. Occasional raw specials and drinks selection is amazing. Slightly slow service on occasion but it's worth the wait for the food.

Splendiferous! Lovely tranquil atmosphere with delicious & imaginative Vegan menu. Staff friendly & couldn't be more helpful. Definitely want to return here again although slightly pricy if you are on a budget. Worth it though!

Dog friendly! Smoothies are amazing - highly recommend the papaya priestess (don't let the apple cider vinegar put you off). The food is all really fresh and with great flavours, but the portions can be small as mains, so I'd recommend getting a side of hash browns or mac & cheese. Very relaxed atmosphere, but not pretentious.

I liked it but it's not on my top choice list. The food is generally ok but I wasn't impressed much with some of the options. The drinks are good though. While most of the staff was nice, there were few at the counter who were a bit impatient with the orders. One woman specifically who afterwards apologised for her rudeness but still, that left a bad impression. I wasn't impressed much with the pancake as it was too dry for my taste, just a mountain of carbs really. I like it with more cream, sauces, etc. As for the sandwich, looks nice but again a bit dryish. The bread is too thick. And the salad didn't feel fresh but maybe this is because I had a chance to try other places and it affected my expectations. Overall, it's a nice place, I wish I had more time to try out more stuff on the menu.
