Excellent traditional pub with a great range of whisky. None of the false theme park stuff you find in so many other pubs nowadays. Staff are professional, knowledgeable and helpful. Just wonderful. Go there for a beer and a whisky. You know it makes sense.

Brilliant. Very highly recommend if you're visiting Glasgow and would like a drink, especially whisky! Even if whisky is not your thing they do a variety of gins etc, something for everyone. Staff are extremely helpful and helped me pick a float to enjoy different flavours based on preferences I told them. The float comes numbered with a sheet that contains all of the information about the whisky which is nice to read whilst enjoying the drinks. Same with the gin, they helped my girlfriend pick a gin that she really enjoyed! Definitely worth a visit when is Glasgow!

Great place, very welcoming. High expertise regarding scotch choice for newbies like me. Reasonable prices and friendly staff. Highly recommended, a real great souvenir I will keep from Scotland.

Amazing bar, the staff are so friendly approachable and knowledgeable, a real credit to the place and their craft. Whiskey drinkers of any knowledge are welcome here, they really do make you feel welcome.

A wonderful place to go. The food was good, the beer and whiskies excellent and the service was amazing. Though busy, the staff will spend time to advise on the magnificent selection of whisky they have, matching your preference and budget to what they have. For those who want to taste a selection, they can make up a tasting tray, with detailed information on each. The atmosphere here was great, with tourists and locals.

The Pit Still is the best whiskey bar I have ever visited (I am a whiskey fan). Incredible selection on hundreds of unique whiskeys you won’t find anywhere else. Service is great and knowledge of the bar staff is incredible. There have some basic food which is nice but this is not why you come here. If you are a whiskey drinker this is a much visit.

Best whisky bar in the world! Drank great whisky and learned a ton from Andrew. Must stop by if you love whisky or are at all curious. And if not, they have good beer too!

People say that precious things come on small size and that is the case for the pot still. Ideal to hang out with friends and maybe discover your new favourite whisky. The place is an historic building very well preserved. Staff is very gentle and ready to help with your selection. It will be nice to have a menu with the Whisky list and prices but you have to rely on the bar tenders. Sometimes it can be very crowded so maybe not ideal in a hot summer.

A marvelous place with barstaff who know A LOT about whisky. They are happy to give recommendations based on your preference and budget. If my tolerance was higher, I could spend hours sampling the truly impressive range of scotch they have on display. I'll certainly be making another appearance on my next visit to Glasgow.

The best pub in Glasgow. Service is nice and they don't mind to help and adapt to your drinking preferences. The atmosphere is cheerful and the pies are great too. I lost my wallet, phoned back and they handed it over to me. Very nice people, very nice pub. They serve excellent whisky and they treat customers excellently.

I went because a friend of mine told me about it. The place has an old beauty to that. It's really full of whisky and pies. Nice beers as well. The employees were friendly and attentive, and they knew a lot about each individual bottle. It blows my mind that they have this rich knowledge about some many whisky.

Went in mid afternoon for a whisky flight. It was amazing, the flight was very well curated and the staff were very knowledgeable and happy to discuss each whisky. The atmosphere was great. Overall, I had a great time here.

I think this bar worth the visit if you’re staying in Glasgow even for a short period of time! They are offering signature Whiskies, very genuine Scottish ones! I’m happy that I’ve got the chance to try it tonight! The staff are very friendly and caring and the atmosphere is really nice!

This is a must-visit place if you're in Glasgow and like Scotch whisky. I highly recommend booking a private tasting - you can pick your price point, how many you'd like to try, and the general theme of what you're after. Great way to spend an hour or so. The staff is unbelievably knowledgeable and enthusiastic; they're really into it. Even short of that, just stopping in at the bar they can give some great recommendations for a dram to try.

The Glasgow single malt scotch whiskey (1770 original) and the Magners Irish cider were amazing! Only to be topped by a local Pot Still pie for lunch! Friendly service and reasonable prices. This was our first stop in Scotland.

One of our favourite pubs whenever we visit Glasgow. Always vibrant, always busy and fantastic bar staff. If only more pubs were this good.

Been in a few times recently, had a sit down whisky tasting with Chris on the latest visit. Staff have been excellent at each visit, completely engaging and incredibly knowledgeable. The tasting was brilliant, selected for us after letting them know our budget and a favourite bottle. All 5 were brilliant that we tasted, the Fib as the final whisky was sensational. Well done, really impressive. 👏

This is one of our must go to places whenever in toon! Despite hundreds of whisky choices, they also serve awesome grubs. Saw this regular customer had his steak pie which was filled with chunks of meat, my partner and I returned another day just to eat their pies. (And washed doon with malt-of-the-month of course) We cannae stop raving aboot how good their special steak pie was, I would say this is one of the best pies I have ever had. 👍🏼
