Excellent fish and chip with WEST FLIGHT for 4 beers of your choices. BAKED HAKE RATATOUILLE is nicely matched with fresh vegetables with rosemary, sautéed potatoes and bread, WEST DIPPING STEAK are nicely cooked with crispy chips and salad. It is so nicely decorated and organized restaurant with great selection of beers for your enjoyment. Black West is the beer I liked most as it is full with dark chocolate and malty flavors with hint of bitterness.

Brilliant Bar/Brewery, Excellent variety of beers. Sampled the West Flight, that allows you to try 4 1/3pints. Been many a time here for beers, dinner nights out and done a couple of brewery tours too. A must for any beer aficionado. The German style food is great, from currywurst to schnitzels hard to beat. Plus it's on Glasgow green park, central spot in Glasgow.

Absolutely superb brewery tap / beer hall / restaurant. Young, friendly, knowledgeable and enthusiastic staff add to the vibe, serving a fabulous range of house beers, well chosen wines and great pub fare, which is very good value. If you’re anywhere near Glasgow, you must visit this place. Take a detour! (Walk or run off the inevitable calories in Glasgow Green afterwards.)

Amazing venue for weddings! Great spaces for ceremony, evening reception and being at Glasgow Green there's lot of outdoor photo locations. The staff are so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend!

I have always been a massive fan of WEST, we made a visit last week which unfortunately if it was my first visit would certainly have been my last visit. We arrived and we were seated quickly. We were left for at least 20 minutes without any drinks or food orders being taken, the place wasn't busy. The gent serving wasn't particularly friendly and informed us that the menu had just changed the prior day. The 3 of us at the table ordered the sandwich options, steak, meatball and caprese, they are priced between £6&£9 for the sandwich alone. You can add a side of soup or salad for £4, saving you 50p on the cost of a side of chips ordered separately. We also ordered the newly to menu corn ribs priced at £5 The food arrived and was unfortunately not up to much, the steak in the sandwich was grizzly and chuck, the caprese sandwich had one soft slice of bread and one hard slice and the meatballs were lovely. The added chips arrived in the smallest bowl at least 1/3 of the size of the usual portion but only 50p less. Definitely order separately if you intend to add chips, you will get much better value for money. The corn ribs were not upto much they had too much garlic and paprika powder poured over them that the taste was nothing but powder. We sat another 20 minutes of so at the end waiting to catch someone's attention for the bill. It took us getting up to leave for the waiter to come after us to present the bill. Such a shame given the previous great experiences.

One of my favourite places in Glasgow, on the edge of Glasgow Green, and now so famous it's mentioned by sightseeing guides. Delicious German lagers, including their 'signature' drink, St Mungo"s beer, brewed in tribute to the city's patron saint. Their wheat beer is to die for. The staff are great and there's an outdoor area plus a garden bar which must be absolutely buzzing on a sunny day. Motto: Glaswegian Heart, German Head. Fabulous!

We had a great experience here. Super friendly staff, delicious beers (I got a flight of 4 of their own beers which came in 1/3 pints of each), amazing and tasty German food, all at a great price! The curry wurst was super flavorful and they were nice enough to let us upgrade our fries to jager fries, and wow - the jager sauce was fantastic! The spatzle with smoked cheese was excellent as well. The hall was very large and the tables were well spaced. We will definitely be returning in the warmer months to take advantage of the great location on the green!

Beautiful inside and out. Didn't get to try the food tho ☹️ Had a few St. Mungo's 👍🏼👍🏼😋🍻 Learned it was an old carpet factory. Tracks are still in the floor by the door.

The food at West on the Green was very good. We found the server to be friendly and very service oriented. The food was delicious - we tried several entries that we had never eaten before - the portions were of healthy size and meals were well seasoned. It was an EXCELLENT dining experience. The only negative was that we had a difficult time finding the place - Goggle Maps lead us astray, but it was worth the aggravation.

We've been here before, but I've never left a review. So I will for today's visit which was, as always, wonderful. Ann-Marie was our waitress and she was so nice! Really cheery and made conversation, including a fair few laughs 😃 She checked on us and our food without being intrusive. She also helped my husband when he bought some beer to take home. The food was superb, I mean really good, tasty and well presented. Ann-Marie took the time to explain portion sizes etc as, although I have a healthy appetite, I have a small belly capacity lol, so I hate ordering big portions that I know I'll never make a dent it, even with hubby's help 😜 It was a really lovely couple of hours, very nice, good quality 🍺 beer. Great food, comfy and lovely place, fab staff and then home on the train. Next time we will defo do the brewery tour!

Three of us for lunch and the food was excellent! I had the steak burger with fries and coleslaw which was very tasty. The other two had the currywurst sausages and fries and the other had the chicken burger with fries. Everything was very tasty. The service was good and the staff friendly. Dog friendly. We will return.

Great place for beer! Unfortunately this time the food wasn't up to scratch. We booked for a Sunday evening 6:30 ... seated quickly but it took 20 minutes, or so, to get a drinks order taken. After we asked for our order to be taken we were informed they didn't have a lot left. Disappointing as my partner had been looking forward to the WURSTplatter! No corn ribs or meatballs available either. We ended up getting the dipping steak which was a pretty rubbish cut of meat. The desserts, sticky toffee pudding and cheesecake were nice. The pretzels aren't great. 'Auntie Anne's' are still the best! Can't fault them for the beers and when we finally received service it was from helpful, friendly staff. Hopefully next time we visit the food will be better!

Great place and I cannot fault the beer I would give it 6 stars if could!! That aside when we went there it was fathers day so things were quite busy but the service etc was quite slow to the table and we had to prompt the server to come over When ordering they had also run out of quite a few things as well and that's to be expected When I ordered I had the steak, medium rare, it was quite tough and I would have sent it back had i not been as hungry Cannot fault the staff who were lovely and attentive with good recommendations for the pints so thank you I would go back though as the beer was amazing 👏 👌

We arrived with our dog around 5.30. The place was busy, but not full as some tables available. Waitress tried to place us a table where staff would be walking around which with a dog wasn’t ideal. Asked to move to a quieter table which seemed to be a difficult question for them. They did move us. Few drinks and some food, both of which were good. Service was poor tbh. Kinda of felt like our waitress couldn’t really be bothered. It’s clear the staff obviously have their specific roles and they didn’t like being asked to do something out with it. On our last round I ordered a margarita cocktail, but was told they didn’t have any…..so I ordered an old fashioned and my partner a half pint. Her half pint arrived and I was told that they didn’t have the ingredients for an old fashioned. I complained that that was the 2nd cocktail that they didn’t have and why didn’t they tell me this before bringing my partners drink. As I said above, the service is poor, which is a shame as it’s a nice pub with decent food.

German beer styles on Tap (10 different taps). Delicious food and snacks with a German influence. The staff was very kind.

Really nice burger & blue cheese. The chicken schnitzel was delicious too. Nice atmosphere. Great friendly staff adds a lot to the ambiance.
