Can’t believe I’ve stayed in the East End of Glasgow for over 2 years and only just visited Drygate. We had such a pleasant experience going there. Staff are really friendly and quirky, decor is funky, and food is top notch! Best fish and chips in the East End. Also enjoyed our side of Mac n cheese. As well as this, they have a decent size drinks menu - including a big selection of IPA’s and ales. I tried the Disco Forklift Truck and really enjoyed it.

I went once for drinking, I had an amazing beer (reverse the polarity). I also went there with a friend for a brewery tour, as soon as we got there the staff told that no one else had booked the brewery tour so we had a private tour. It's been great, the brewer who guided us told us a ton of super interesting things about the story and the different beers that they make. One of the best brewery tour I have ever had. After the tour we had the included beer tasting together with him, he deeply explained the 4 beer we tasted, it's been very interesting and fun. The tour+beer tasting was 20£, which is not little but it's definitely worth it, we had a guide for two people only! The tour lasted 1 hours and the beer tasting 15 mins. We also took some chips (very standard) and some great haggis croquettes, those were expensive (7£ for 3 croquettes) but very good as well so it's fine. They also have a little shop where you can buy beer glasses, shirts or beers obviously. All the things in the shop are very high quality and very good looking, I personally took a glass (4£ very nice and fairly priced and a shirt, very nice as well but overpriced at 15£) The brewery is good and the staff is super you g and friendly. It's overall a little overpriced, but everything is high quality and I find correct supporting the cause, you're paying a premium but you're supporting a great business. Keep it up guys!

It was a real nice experience. The interior of the restaurant is amazing, there's a window where you can actually see inside the brewery! The beer tasting was quite fun. Only the food was a bit too less and expensive for what it was. If you're hungry you might stick to classic fish and chips. Apart from that definitely recommendable.

Having been to Drygate before, due to the pandemic it has been a couple of years now. The bar / restaurant has lost none of its magic, would even say it’s much better. Excellent choice on the menu and the staff were very attentive. Well worth the trip and would highly recommend this to anybody in Glasgow.

This pub has a good list of beer they brew themselves, a nice selection of guest beers in otehr can and bottles...and a fab food menu, which I was shocked by how nice it was. I had steak frites, and my friend had whitebait and squid... Then for dessert we had a tropical millefeuille and a duo of diff flavoured creme brulee which arrived to the table on fire! They were both delicious! The star of the show though has to be the dog menu...asyou can see my pooch lay on a jacket so he didn't hurt the seats, and put his own order in of doggy chicken! Generous portion!

I went there just for curiosity. The place is very nice. There are a lot of beers on tap. The employees were knowledgeable about all the flavours and the menu, anyway, was explaining everything. The food was good as well. I liked that they offered 3 different sizes of beer.

Had a late lunch here today after the 1.00 Tennents Brewery Tour. The food was absolutely delicious and the service efficient and friendly. I had the Small Plates of Mussels and the Seabass with side order of potatoes (so so delicious) and broccoli. Honestly so very tasty. Husband had the Cullen Skink and the seafood Pasta. Great value for money too! Would highly recommend.

Awesome place. Really friendly staff welcomed us and we had some amazing food. Lots of beer on tap and there is a small shop to buy the beers you like. The upper terrace allows a beer in the sun (if you're lucky with the weather) but there is more than enough space inside as well. You can make a reservation, but it was quite calm when we went. We had a great time!

Nice reception, ideally seated in the bar as they had a brew ongoing as I ate my meal. First pint Stereogram served in 2/3rd glass which had a considerable head so was near on half a pint, wouldn't typically moan but when it's £4.90 for 2/3rds I feel as though I should. Going off glowing recommendations on Google I thought I'd opt for the Fish and Chips £14. It was minimal at best, good batter and chips weren't half bad tbh but I've had better for half the price in the city centre. All in all, not a bad experience. The brewery sure is a mammoth in the back ground and it draws a good crowd.

The fish and chips were some of the best I’ve ever had. The beer was good, my husband really enjoyed the Orinoco. But the dessert is literally one of the best things that I’ve had in the past five years… Gingeraffe Sponge was to die for… so good, that I forgot to take a picture. 😁

Genuinely spellbinding food. The beer was an exceptionally close second, all brought by excellent staff. Best brewery?

We had our wedding reception here on 8.7.23 and it was amazing. The venue space is fantastic and the staff were so attentive. Iain, the events manager, stayed for a large portion of the night, checked in with us and kept us updated on various parts of the evening. The bar staff were brilliant, no one waited too long for a drink (although my 93 year old grandad has requested you get southern comfort 😂). We left our decorations for the staff to sort out for us prior to arriving as we were too busy and they did an amazing job, the space looked brilliant. We had the breakfast roll buffet and everyone said how good they were, there was a big selection and they came out in metal trays and were kept over burners which meant they stayed warm for ages - any other wedding we’ve attended just the rolls pre made on platters - so this was brilliant (our nephew had a 5 stacked roll 😂)! In all, we highly recommend the drygate for any event you might need it for!

The beers are awesome, we tried a four flight and they were really great. We also tried mac n cheese, the macaronis were overcooked, but not in a bad way, they were melting in the mouth, with an extra cheese. The poutine was also really good. Thanks for the experience.

Good food and good beers. We went twice for lunch. I highly recommend the beef and bone marrow pie. This place has ample seating and is very clean. We sat across from the bar, and the bar tender took his time to carefully craft every drink he made.

👍👍 An excellent experience at Miller and Carter tonight. The food came out quickly and was so incredibly delicious - the steak was cooked to perfection and the beef dripping sauce was to die for! All steaks come with house fries they can up upgraded to chunky chips or sweet potato fried but we honestly...
