Poor service. Ribeye Steak was very poor for price paid. As per photo I had to cut quite a bit of grist off the steak, not how I wish a ribeye to be when paying £28.95. Wouldn't rush back.

Nicest meal I've had in a while, the Mia tias wow delicious 😋 the terrine with the chutney and sourdough bread really good too, and wild mushrooms with chicken and fondant potatoes really tasty, I'll definitely be going back

Went for afternoon tea here a few times. Excellent service. Staff dont rush you. Also went with 7month old baby and this wasnt a hassle at all. Loads of space for pram and high chair. Picture of recent visit. Afternoon tea was nice. Cakes got a bit warm and deflated but still tasty

Staying at hotel for about 8 weeks and came down to eat at 7pm and they closed the restaurant saying not enough people to keep it open. Told us a 30 minute wait even though the restaurant had over 10 tables free. The real reason is they setup for next days breakfast and forced everyone to eat in the lobby as you can see in the picture. It's very disappointing. It's expensive for such poor service.

We came here with First Tables! The food was really good but I especially love be the dark chocolate mousse dessert!

Went for afternoon tea on the 4 May as a Mother's Day gift. Not too impressed, as I advised there would be a child in the party, and asked that some items would be suitable for them. Good job it wasn't due to allergies, as request had been dis-regarded. The manager did offer a free glass of bubbly, and couldn't do enough to try and sort it. However, it wasn't possible. The service from most wait staff was mediocre, and we had to wait nearly 40min before any food was put on the table. Then it was on plates, no cake stand with a good choice like on other tables. Did feel also that the cakes were a bought in tray bake confection, and not made in house. Will not be back, and if not for the manager, my review score would be less.

Hi, we have eaten in this restaurant many times and always had lovely food and service. However tonight both the food and service were very disappointing. My partner had a starter (duck pot) which was bland and overpriced. I had ordered fillet steak and after an hour from ordering we got our main meals. I had asked for medium steak but as it was rare. I was so hungry I didn't send it back. I only managed to eat half of it. There was no check back and when the waitress collected our plates and I gave feedback it was met with an indifference response. I was disappointed with the food and service. The cost of the meals are not cheap but worth paying if you are satisfied. Given the length of time for the meal to be served it' could have easily be helped with an offer of a bread roll while waiting.

Was there for afternoon tea, food was nice but the pulled pork and samon rolls were a bit dry. Service was great.
