The Glasgow Food and Drink Tour is a must! I recommend making this tour the first thing you do in Glasgow; the tour will help orient you to the west end area, traditional Scottish fare, and most importantly to the best food in Glasgow. The tour is well organized and our guide Caron was an absolute delight. Caron is very knowledgable and will answer all of your questions before you even ask them, so I suggest listening to what she has to say before asking your questions, this way you can let her get to the story and history in a natural and fluid way as you walk from one stop to the next. We had so much food that I couldn't finish everything at all of the stops - make sure you come hungry as you will be fed plenty of food, and drinks. During our week in Glasgow we ended up returning to 3 of the stops from the tour as well as other places suggested by our guide. After the tour I received an email from the organizer with a list of where we went on the tour and the food and drinks that we sampled; I appreciated having this to reference throughout the week.

This food tour set a new standard for me. The food, walking tour, history provided, communications before and after the tour were all exceptional. The food and drink, both in quality and quantity, was more than I expected. We got to try all of the Scottish specialties with excellent chefโ€™s versions. I would recommend and return to all of the stops we visited. Gillian had carefully set up the tour to not only provide the best food and drink, it was a great walking tour that showcased the beautiful west end of Glasgow. Gillian provided history and current trends and answered any question. She was extremely thoughtful throughout the tour to ensure that everyone was enjoying the tour. Her local knowledge and love of what she was doing made the experience so enjoyable. I only had time for one tour in Glasgow and am so glad I chose this one!

Fun and delicious tour of the West End of Glasgow. All the tastes were great, with a varied selection in both the type of food and the type of restaurant. Gillian was fun to hang with, as were the other participants on the tour.

Excellent tour! We did this tour with Gillian and Caron as our guides and we couldnโ€™t have been more spoiled for food and company throughout the tour. Weโ€™ve done many food tours and this ranked right up there - the selection of food and drink was quite extensive (6 stops) spread over the West End. The bonus for us was the unexpected but very enjoyable history and architecture tour of the city (including the University of Glasgow) that we got walking from one location to another. At one stop (Pasteis Lisboa), the owner spent a lot of time with us explaining how the business got started, his recipe etc. We wouldnโ€™t have experienced this without the tour. After the tour, Gillian emailed me the list of each place we visited as well as what we sampled - so appreciated this! Everyone going to Glasgow should do this tour!

Had the best time!! Gillian was exceptionally accommodating, and our tour with Caron was amazing. The stops for traditional food and drink combined with an informative tour of some beautiful spots in the city made for a perfect afternoon in Glasgow. Every stop was special from the locations themselves to the staff in each stop and of course the food and drink! Thank you Gillian and Caron!

My partner and I have done a few food and drink tours in various places, but this is our favourite so far and it was the highlight of our trip to Glasgow. Gillian (our tour guide and company director) was informative, friendly and very easy to chat to. It was clear that a lot of thought and effort had gone into planning the tour and the food itself was delicious covering a range of Scottish staples. Each venue was different and interesting in its own way. The styles went from traditional to modern and we thoroughly enjoyed each stop. Gillian is fantastic and I cant recommend this tour enough.

Thank you Gillian for an absolutely wonderful experience through Glasgows Westend. My family canโ€™t stop talking about the incredible restaurants you took us to.and the exciting food we were served. From the upscale Butchershop to the Hidden Tea Room, your favorite Pub Park Bar where you met your husband, Millie Cheese Monger and the Lovable Rogue and Innis & Gunn Brewery all special experiences for us all. You were very knowledgeable and your stories were wonderful. Thank you, thank you for a terrific day in Glasgow. Cheers, Drew Feinberg

Anyone visiting who loves food and drink while leisurely walking the city - 10/10 recommend this walking tour. Itโ€™s not often when you want to be friends with your guide, but this was 100% the case. Caron was an amazing guide (definitely not a witch) who was extremely knowledgeable and has loads of charm.

My Wife bought this as a Birthday gift for me as she thought it was something a little bit different. She was right! We did the tour on Saturday 14th May 2022, a beautiful day by the way, and I can't speak highly enough of our guide Carron and her knowledge of the West End and Glasgow in general. The venues visited were all fantastic with plenty of time in each one to enjoy the food and drink and a bit of banter. We had 2 of our friends with us on the tour, and a 3rd couple, Marie and Gordon joined us . We all agreed that the tour was great value for the money, and if you haven't already, get yourself booked up!

A brilliant way to spend a day in Glasgow. We visited some great restaurants and bars in the West End, learning some fun facts along the way. The entire tour lasted around 4.5 hours and was well worth the money. We were very well-fed! Extremely friendly organisers too who were up for a laugh. Highly recommended.

This is actually the second time I've done Gillian's tour and it was amazing. Initially did evening tour with my Dad a few years ago which was fab and took my Aussie Husband on day tour today. Both were totally different and had fantastic spots. Great way to introduce my Husband to Scottish food and local tour! Gillian was super informative and even though I'm a local, I have learnt something new every time. Thanks for an awesome, memorable day Gillian! โค๏ธ

I went on the West End food tour last year with 3 friends. We had a fantastic afternoon. Gillian was very informative and took us to some tasty locations. When I was looking for something special to do for our daughters birthday this year, I booked the tour again and my husband and daughter also loved it. I would thoroughly recommend it for locals and visitors alike. You'll get to sample some tasty food, enjoy a few drinks and find out some interesting facts about Glasgow. A great way to spend an afternoon. Thank you Gillian.

This tour should be mandatory to discover the city of Glasgow! We had the best time with Gillian, and discovered the greatest restaurants and local shops. The explanations and context she brings to the table are key to understand the city and she answered absolutely all our questions. Thank you so much, Gillian, it was our first food tour but definitely one of the best experience ๐Ÿ˜

Personality the founder is absolutely amazing, funny and entertaining. I really liked her bubbly stories. SightSeeingPoint they were nice spots and I can only trust her, that she showed me the important stuff. (I didn't check) Restaurants they were nice and it appeared good quality. But as the culture in Glasgow is so diverse, do not only expect Scottish dishes to be served. A criteria, which for me was a -1 point in this experience. Also I feel like the price was a little to high for what I've got. Story-Telling The reasons I visit a tour is to learn more about the nations history. Also the way the tour guid perceives his life within this country. Although she did tell some information about the sightseeing points we checked out, I would have loved to hear more about - her life in Scotland/Glasgow (what is the teaching style in schools, is sunday also a family day, what age do girls usually marry -> just general life topics) - Scottish History (just the basics)
