I was here for an archaelogy talk and found the venue beautiful. The seats provided were a little uncomfortable, hence the 4 star rating. But a good venue, excellent surroundings and fabulous surroundings.

Beautiful historic venue. The space is absolutely beautiful and great for all types of events and it is full of hidden places you wouldn't expect to find. The ceiling is adorned with wonderfully decorated features and the main hall will have you feeling like you're in a ball room. Fantastic space for a ceilidh, but equally as good for a gala. There are plenty of bars in the building to accommodate a large number of people. One of the most ideal places to hold an event in Glasgow.

It is a good looking building, but it was closed when we were there and could not enter. We did take a load of pictures.

The cafe was closed on our visit but the church exterior is well worth a visit as its a standout in the local area

This former church now turned art centre is a fantastic building set in a fine square in the heart of Glasgow City Centre near Glasgow Cross. Built in the 18th century it must have been a powerful symbol of the church and God's might, but like a lot of churches it fell into disrepair and was subsequently taken over by the City. I have never been inside but you have to admit from the outside it's breathtaking.

A beautiful building which has become a significant events venue. Excellent acoustics and internal décor has made this a very popular site for gigs and weddings.

We had a great works night out here. Lovely meal and a good atmosphere. The band really kept things going with the ceilidh. Would definitely consider again in future. Slight criticism...the door leading to the toilets was right behind us so you can imagine there was a lot of traffic. The door was left open every single time and the cold draft was unbelievable. Maybe install some auto closing mechanism?? But overall a very good night XXX

We have booked this venue for our wedding. It is stunning and the staff are so helpful and friendly. So looking forward to the day.

Looked lovely but so busy that you could not spend any time looking at stalls.

Went here for a Xmas party night. Food was about the best I have had at one of these functions. Hot plates and plenty of food.

This was our first time here and it is a beautiful building with great acoustics. Really enjoyed the bands except for people being disrespectfully noisy during the first singer. I know this happens a lot now but it was bad enough that venue staff should have intervened to ask them to be quiet as it spoiled the night a bit.

I recommend not buying tickets in advance because of parking. I didn't get to go in because I couldn't get coin change anywhere and the Ringo parking app doesn't work on US phones. Essentially Americans are "played" by this multi national parking conglomerate. Nonetheless I couldn't leave so I just kept driving around within eyeshot of this landmark and stopping here and there to pray. Legally to stop rather than park you need to be stopping to do something. I'm not sure if stopping to pray is something the government agents (corporate big brother) recognizes as valid. But to me it's essential!

Great venue. Visited for the end of month big brass band night with Cosmopol. Tremendous!

It's a lovely building but apparently because it was built with the profit of trade often involving slavery, it's tainted. And celebrating the craftsmanship makes one racist and probably a misogynist and homophobe to boot.

Just off the beautiful glasgow green and up a wee bit st Andrews in the square is a place that allows calm mindedness. Promotes tranquillity peace n quiet. Situated in a stunning area with it's buildings surrounding it like queens guards guarding their queen. It has a cafe with a beautiful tranquil outside seating. The whole area is a neighbourhood watch area (Just means the community living there looks out for each other). Great wheel chair user access to its surroundings but some steps into the actual church. (Maybe god will send some disciples to raise you inside). A beautiful place.

Really nice place, old church repurposed for "things"...(TBH I'm not sure what, I was there for a concert...has bar, overpriced IMHO but no worse than anywhere else)

We went to the cafe to the right of the Presbyterian Church (which is now a cultural centre). We were recommended the Cullen Skink Soup by our walking tour guide Rachel. It was a delicious smoked fish soup with potatoes and vegetables in it. It came with crusty bread and hit the spot for a cool damp day in friendly Glasgow.

I am a photographer and St Andrew's on the Square is fantastic venue, the venue is beautiful the food amazing but most of all the staff are fantastic they go over and above for you and cater for your every need. I have worked here many times and it is one of my favourite venues, I will be sad to see it close.
