My 16year old granddaughter went for an interview at monkey madness. She got the job but then decided not to take it this is why.... She was to work 3 days (shes at college doing childcare) She was bullied into working on a Sunday. She was to work from 12 to 7pm but was then told she couldn't take a break cos they were too busy. After her shift she was told she would have to scrub the loos. She was NOT asked for a disclosure. So think twice b4 you book. If you dont care who looks after your child book away.

I had a party booked at another venue for my wee girls birthday. My plans were changed last minute by my ex (my daughters mother) so I had to plan a get together for some friends and family at the very last minute. Some of them brought gifts and I had some wee individual birthday cakes in the car and thought I would hand some wee cakes out as a thanks for coming and was stopped at reception and told no food to be brought in. Baring in mind I brought around 14/15 people to the venue who all had at least one kid and all bought lunch, I didn’t think it would be a big deal to bring in a couple of wee cakes but being told no I couldn’t because I hadn’t booked an official party with them was completely humiliating in front of friends and family. I had been a regular of monkey madness since my kids were born but there’s no chance I’ll ever be back as long as I live now because of this. Now at weekends when a softplay is suggested, I tell this story and we choose somewhere else to go. An awful lot of lost business for the sake of a few wee cakes.

I don't know where to start 🙈 Came back recently after 2 years of pandemic to find this place soooo dirty. I promised kids soft play, so w I decided to stay and give this place a chance- waited for a coffee for 45 minutes. I was sitting next to the coffee machine- nobody used it- they forgot about my order even I ask the lady FOUR TIMES for my coffee. Ok- maybe somebody had a bad day, I understand. But the next visit is even bigger disappointed- three kids and I- waited for my food 45 min, next 10 for the FIRST kids food, another 5 for THE SECOND, AND ANOTHER 5 mins FOR THE THIRD! And please!- explain your staff how they suppose to bring drinks to the table because they putting their fingers in the cup and touching glasses edge 😳🤢

18.03.2023 we took our son to monkey madness @5pm , he enjoyed his time . However we weren’t impressed with the staff members . the young lady Farhana ( i believe this was her name after speaking with her ) was doing all the cleaning , stacking chairs , hoovering , wiping down the tables and high chairs . I looked around and seen the other members of staff just huddled together next to the reception area laughing and talking while the young girl was doing all the clean up . They were huddled like this for an hour . This was disgraceful and a bad image for the owner and management . I spoke to Farhana she was so lovely but very tired due to her “colleagues” not helping . All i’m asking from the owner is to talk to these staff members that were in . they should be assigned tasks at the end of the night rather than one person doing all the end of shifts tasks . If the “supervisor “ was present then they need to pay attention to the staff and assign EACH OF THEM tasks .

Had my daughters birthday party there today. Fantastic venue for little ones, they had a great time. The staff were absolutely fantastic.

Enjoyed my day but more importantly my daughter and her niece enjoyed it. No problems and staff were nice, efficient and cheerful. Cheers 👍

Not going back to this place anymore. The lady at the front desk today ( 12/03/22) was unbelievably impolite sitting us at the most convenient spot though there were a lot of other vacant tables NOT ON THE KIDS' WAY(. She claimed that she HAS TO fill the central spot with people first????...... What??? What a lot of nonsense?? Before we could choose any place we wanted as long as they were free. As a result, I spilled my coffee 2 times just because we were placed on the way of the kids running around like crazy. Absolutely pretentious attitude to the clients!!!! When we were leaving the place there were still a lot of comfortable tables left still not taken by anyone. Not going back anymore!

Brilliant place, staff are mostly great. Only thing I dislike is hot loud the music gets and when you politely ask if it can be reduced the staff just turn it up again. I've attached a video of how loud it was today, couldn't hear myself think never mind hold a conversation. (This was midweek, no parties and only 5 children)

The poor girl was on her own.. severely under staffed esp on a school strike day. Despite the girl running about doing her best, she kept a smile on her face and was delightfully pleasant. Either pay her double time or employ an extra person. Kids were fairly happy. Service could be much better.

Needing an upgrade badly, no batteries in any toys for younger children, not very clean throughout, appear to be short staffed

Came in for a trial shift, Didn’t really get shown at all what to do just watched the so called manager stand about and talk in the reception bit with other staff members. Seen him also not serve customers quick enough which ended in them standing there for a little while. Never heard back from them. Feel as though they just want a days work done and then never contact you again. Rubbish company to apply for and none of the staff looked as though they were enjoying their jobs. AVOID.

Brilliant soft play. The staff are friendly. You can get an eat and play package which is very worth it. Loads of space for your little one to explore and you can explore with them which is amazing for children with addiction needs etc. only thing for me with my daughter not great with steps I can’t feel relaxed incase she had a fall down the steps so I need to be with her at all time. But still a great soft play that we visit when up in cycle bank

We opted for this softplay as it was close by and suited all children. Overall, the place is okay. The staff went above and beyond, and it was clean enough. I would suggest it needs some TLC as it's rather run down. The bathrooms were damaged and in a state of disrepair some parts were dangerous. The infant/baby area was lacking in anything to play with. A little bit of maintenance and money could go a long way. The food was good for softplay good. I would return.

My boys love "the monkeys" as they call it, and we enjoy a very fast two hours quite frequently. I think it's now £14 for the two of them for 2 hours, which is fine. I would advocate taking your own juice and snacks, though, unless you have money to burn, as the food is on the pricey side. Staff are friendly and often in with the kids, keeping an eye and helping out.

Great wee play area for the kids, food was great. Kids had a great time. Staff were very helpful. Highly recommend

Great soft play for both small kids and big ones with a big drop slide for the big kids. Had the bbq chicken wrap for lunch which was very good and the kids loved their nuggets. Will go back again

It has lots to do for all ages. Climbing, slides, soft play 2 party rooms. It's a fun local soft play for adults to relax with a coffee and kids to burn off energy. The staff are friendly and helpful, you will always find a welcome smile. It is gd value for money but does need a touch up in some areas of decorative features.

There for my grandsons birthday he had a great time staff very good with the kids

I can't recommend this place enough!! The owner is very reasonable and friendly the staff are approachable engaging and nothing is too much trouble my wee one loved the soft play area and climbing stuff if you want to take the wee ones to burn of energy head here and the prices based on age and for 2 hour blocks of play is even better prices can't be beaten

Great place to have your kids birthday party in! Takes the stress out of arranging a party yourself! Parents can sit eat have a cuppa and watch their children run around having fun. All the children love it and they go home tired ready for their bed! 😴😁
