I stayed almost 2 weeks in November. There was no hot water for 5 days, and central heating in my bedroom didn’t work at all. Only a small oil heater was at side of my bed. We claimed several times but that hadn’t changed. In addition, my room had been cleaned only 4 days in 2 weeks, it was a very disappointing stay. I don’t recommend here at all. But the receptionist was very friendly and kind.

I've visited West Park Hotel for dinners and functions for several years. The food is always delicious and fresh, service is quick and everything is really well priced. I'll definitely continue visiting for dinner! I've never stayed in the rooms, so couldn't rate them.

Me and my friend who are travel nurses booked 2 nights at West park hotel. We could not shower on both nights as the shower was not working. We tried to contact the reception on the first night but there was no answer then reported the matter on the following day after work as we left early hours of the morning and returned at night. The lady from reception came to check and confirmed that the shower was not working. She advised us that the hotel was fully booked and they could not move us. This meant we spent another night without have a shower and there was not solution or alternative offered despite telling expressing that we work in hospital and hygiene is our priority. I left my email for the manager to make contact regarding this and up to now I have not received anything, they couldn’t bother to make contact and apologise or to make any sort of refund. Worse service ever , I will avoid to book at all cost.

Ate tonight in the restaurant, table booked for 8 people. On arrival we were informed that items on the menu were not available due to a busy evening the night before. Food arrived cool, had to return to heat. Very cold inside with no heating, staff were very good and apologetic offering a round of drinks. We will not return unfortunately.

Had my fathers wake there on Monday 23rd Jan. Quality of food was mediocre despite them being the second most expensive venue to choose from, £15 per head for a sausage roll and a sandwich and soup was an extra £2 per head on top of that, not even 1 sausage roll per person. To add insult to injury while tea and coffee were being served I asked a member of staff for a soft drink for my teenage son, i was told the staff can fulfill this request due to bar being closed. The staff were completely useless with no alternate offered so I had to remind them that water pours from any tap they just need to catch it in a glass. Would not recommend anyone using this venue, it's best days are sadly beyond it.

The room was very basic which was to be expected for the price. However, we didn't expect to have dirty, ripped sheets on our bed and to be told that we weren't allowed any food or drinks in the room (snack foods). Finally and most shockingly was the attitude of the man at reception on our departure. As we are starting the West Highland Way this morning I asked if we could please fill up our hydro packs before leaving. He hummed and ahh'd about it before saying no and that we should return to our rooms to fill them. After I explained that it was non drinking water and that we had already checked our key card back in, he said, "okay no problem" and walked away with his hands in his pockets. This person should not be working in a customer facing role!!!

The room I booked and paid for was unavailable on arrival, was happy to accept the chalet, except first night was kept up by the man next door snoring! Second night another neighbour checking in at 11pm, no breakfast as kitchen is closed for a week. The staff were very nice otherwise I would never recommend this place and not worth the money I paid. A travel lodge is better and cheaper Also no Wi-Fi

Was there for a funeral it serves it's purpose but because of this it is a bit complacent. Toilets clean but sinks all cracked and no door lock working in the ladies delegated for us to use

It is a lovely located hotel. Hotel staff are really friendly. A warm welcome from the gentleman behind the counter when I arrived at 5:30pm 11/11/23. The only issue I had was a minor one that I can laugh about. My room was double booked and was given a hotel room key with a customer already inside. Good job, he wasn't naked. 🤣 The only major issue I had in room 101 was the radiator needed bleeding and kept me awake for 2 nights. I did say something to the staff in the morning. But when I came back to the room that night. The problem was not fixed. Recommendation: Please install USB plug sockets in the rooms. Other than that issue. Wonderful hotel. 💯

Avoid like the plague!!! Staff super unhelpful - stuck us in a room in 20 degree heat and a window that didn’t open at all. When asked about it, the response was “sorry can’t open that window” Asked for a fan because the room was like a sauna and the response from staff “I’d love a fan” Asked reception for a hairdryer as it was my sons wedding, the reply “sorry we only have 6 and they are all out.” the best part was being asked by the hotel maid “do you need anything” I asked is there was any dinner going on downstairs and the reply was “I don’t know I just clean rooms” down I go to enquire about the food.. the response from the staff “we are waiting on a food order” it was 1pm on a Sunday. The place is criminal! How people pay to stay at the place is beyond me. Our expierience has just been unbearable. Absolutely awful place to stay, never slept as we were unable to breathe in our room with not being able to have air from a window. avoid at all costs if you wanna feel looked after this is not the place to go. It is 1;36am and I am thinking about just taking the taxi to the airport now so I can breathe and get a sleep, very very unhappy.

Well priced, comfy, clean and welcoming. Everything you need and nothing more!!! Nice sized room clean comfy beds, we slept well. Took a star off for the shower, only because the water pressure wasn't great, but still hot and we got washed up fine. Food good value for money, basic but tasty, and good beer behind the bar. The best thing about the hotel by far is the staff though. All of them were super friendly and really helpful, especially Zander who noticed my son had additional needs and was nothing but friendly and obliging, even showing him how to Access Manga cartoons on his phone!!😅 and bringing a bowl of celebrations to our table when we were having a beer!!😋😋 Would recommend whole heartedly if you need a a place to stay for a couple of nights that's cheap and cheerful and close to All the major routes. Thanks guys.xx

There for a funeral, one member of staff couldn't raise a smile for anyone. This was an emotional occasion, she left us feeling worse. Service was not great. It was a problem asking for more coffee

Had my birthday party there on saturday, in general the party night was great, however the next day was informed by my guest that the night finished an hour earlier then I was told. I was informed with a letter stating the depart time would be 12.30am, however last orders were called at 23.30pm tables were then cleared (and some staff being rude and rushing people out) and then everything else was turned off/on just before midnight. I mean it was not cheap to hire the function hall. Couple.other issue with the breakfast situation, you also most of the time dont have anybody at reception and need find someone, I asked for it to be added to 2 rooms (not straight during check in, but when I asked was told they would charge it to the card they had on file) but next morning guest went down to get breakfast but were told cant get the breakfast due to not having booked it. I emailed the.hotel in regards to why the party finished early, and surprise surprise with what came back with, apparently they changed they times during lockdown, so why not pass these information on correctly and if that is the case why not update ur paperwork, i mean after all it has been at least a year now lockdown happened. Well emailed back about not having been informed and I was unhappy with this, and surprise surprise no reply as yet and due to this situation also guest afterwards had to wait outside in the.rain until their taxi arrived as most were booked for finish time. So if you ever decide hire a function hall please make sure you get proper clarification about the finish time.

Lovely place. Lovely people. Nothing is too much trouble. The rooms need a little redecorating, as decor is very old. But overall good experience.

Absolutely unacceptable. Staff were great and couldn't apologise enough and are doing a great job under the circumstances, so hats off to Michelle and Zander.

A clean and comfortable hotel, good value for money and well situated to be near loved ones in the Golden Jubilee Hospital. The staff were so kind, caring and helpful.

The most disgusting hotel chalets we have ever stayed in. Damp, cold, smelly, blood stained mattress cover. Bed is about 12in from the floor and very uncomfortable. Bathroom gents would have to stand at the side of the toilet because the sink is so close, shower leaks water over the floor , can't even shut the door because water is making the door swell. Front door has the same problems with water ingress very difficult to open and close. So although we had paid for 3 nights we left after 2. Under the room there is a garage two men were unloading rubbish into it , when one of them decided to urinate against the van. Absolutely unacceptable. Staff were great and couldn't apologise enough and are doing a great job under the circumstances, so hats off to Michelle and Zander.
