Since the retirement of Mr McDonald this dental practice has shown less and less care for patients and more interest in making money. After 30 years with them they have informed me and my family with no notice by email that they will no longer be treating NHS patients, absolutely disgusted with them.

A few weeks ago i had an emergency with my back teeth and they accepted to treat me. The treatments i had were totally pain free and o could be happier with the results. Karm is literally the best dentist you could ever find! He takes his time with your teeth (which i appreciate a lot) and always makes sure you are comfortable. The rest of the team are amazing as well! Very friendly and helpful. I would usually be very nervous when going to the dentists, but this time that is not the case! ☺️ Highly recommend them!

Karm has been my dentist for many years now and feel very happy to recommend him and his practice to anyone. He is very friendly and welcoming, and takes all the time that is required to discuss and provide whatever treatment that's required.

Sadly I would not recommend this practise. I attended for a hygienist appointment based on online recommendeations as I could not get one with my usual NHS dentist. It cost me £75 for a very short scrape, no polish, and the lady was not gentle. My main issue is that the hygienist bruised the area between my gums and my tongue from the use of one of her tools and more concerning is the fact that I cannot brush the lower inner side of my teeth without lots of pain and bleeding. It is now over 24 hours since my appointment and it still hurts to eat and I cannot brush my teeth properly without a lot of discomfort. I will not return and would not commend this practise.

My experience of West Dental has been excellent, the whole team is lovely and welcoming and the care I have received there has been just amazing! My teeth were in bad shape when I came. I was very nervous about them and Karm was so kind and explained exactly what he could do. I can't tell you how pleased I am with the results, my teeth look amazing and so natural, I can't stop smiling! The treatment I received at West Dental has made me feel more confident in my teeth than I ever have before and I can't thank the team enough 🙏💕

I can’t praise Karm and his team highly enough, including his receptionist, hygienists, Lisa his assistant and of course, himself for providing such a professional service, which is second to none. I’ve had a considerable amount of work done over the past few years, including whitening of my teeth. Having recently had a front tooth crown fitted, it has enhanced the appearance of my teeth and smile to which Karm said it would. I am delighted with the results. He has a professional, caring manner, putting you at ease, explaining every procedure and always listening to your concerns. I can’t thank him enough.

Dr Megan McCallum has a fantastic way with children and put my otherwise very anxious son completely at ease during his visit. He was even comfortable enough to sit in "the chair", which he would normally absolutely refuse! Highly recommended. Had not been to a dentist's since before Covid started, and was fairly apprehensive, but the whole experience turned out to be surprisingly enjoyable. Lisa on reception was warm and welcoming, Manveet was kind enough to entertain my nervous babbling as they took some images, and Dr. Megan and Amanda in the surgery were a wonderful blend of professional and friendly, answering any questions I had and even teaching me some dental lingo. Megan took the trouble to send me well wishes after the appointment and put together some information regarding a treatment I'd been asking about. I wouldn't have expected to leave a dental appointment thinking the experience was pleasant. All in all I could not recommend higher.

I had a temporary crown fitted today by Dr Karm Jandoo. The whole experience was carried out with great skill and professionalism. I felt very comfortable and importantly, had absolutely no pain! Dr Karm was ably assisted by Lisa, whose lovely Irish tones help settle you throughout the procedure. I was very well looked after and was offered a bespoke music sound track to accompany my treatment. Excellent!

Right from the start my experience was positive. The lady at reception listened to my concerns, and scheduled an appointment the same day. Even though I was not an existing patient at this practice, I was seen as an emergency. The Dentist who treated me provided excellent care, resolved my issue with minimal discomfort. I would not hesitate to return here, they certainly provided excellent care!

When I was younger, my teeth were badly stained by prescription drugs and I was referred, in my teens, to Glasgow Dental Hospital where I was given porcelain crowns, mainly for cosmetic reasons and before veneers or teeth whitening were commercially available. They served me well for about 30 years, (which is great) but over time they became ill fitting, chipped and in dire need of replacement. Dr Jandoo (Karm) has given me a complete smile makeover, replacing all of my worn-out crowns with new ones as well as whitening my bottom teeth, which had not been crowned, but were grey, due to staining. His dedication, care and professionalism mean that I have a smile, which at the age of 59, I am now proud to show off to the world. Karm treats all of my family and I wouldn't go anywhere else for my dental care.

I had a tooth extraction and Dr Thomson was an absolute champ as always. It was not easy but he made it painless, quick and easy while reassuring me all the way. My recovery was perfect. An excellent job well done. Best dentist in Scotland.

I been there and I been treated with disrespect, I been with my daughter she had a abscess was a emergency and your staff treated us like beggars, I suppose our money and our social status is not good enough for your clinic. I’ll never forget my first visit, it was Christmas time - I was in excruciating pain and could hardly eat ! I walked into the waiting room, really cosy fire blazing and was taken in 5 minutes after my appointment was due. Was really surprised about this as I was expecting to wait at least half an hour like at my last dentist! I found Dr Jandoo to be so professional and informative about the treatment I was going to receive. I mentioned in my first visit that I’m a jazz fan and low and behold, I walked in for the second appointment and there was jazz playing the background. How obliging is that! I’m delighted with my treatment - will never change my dentist! The staff are so friendly and welcoming and now I’m the proud owner of a beautiful white smile!

Dr Karm Jandoo is a brilliant dentist, indeed one of the best I have ever had. He is extremely meticulous and has superb attention to detail. After 50 years of very professional dental treatment from four previous dentists I can honestly say that Dr Karm Jandoo delivers the highest standard of treatment in the most professional and caring way. For a young practitioner he is extremely competent but is willing to seek advice if the need arises. His personal manner is exemplary and always discusses and fully explains all options for treatment. He also has great taste in music. His assistants are equally personable caring and helpful. All in all I do not think a better experience could be had anywhere.

Nick Thomson is the best dentist in Glasgow by a thousand miles from every angle I can think of: professionalism, quality of work, gentleness, care, empathy, patience, kindness and fairness. He spares no effort or time to explain the diagnosis and the treatment in detail. The reason why my son is not afraid of going to the dentist is that he has had only good experience when he has seen Dr Thomson. Best dentist I have used. Karm really explains everything thoroughly and never rushes or cuts corners. I really don't let anyone else look after my teeth anymore. Oral health is so important and the importance of a great dentist can't be stressed enough.

I thoroughly recommend Dr Jandoo and his team at West Dental. I used to be terrified of visiting the dentist but Dr Jandoo’s calm and friendly manner has got me to a point where I feel completely relaxed. I like his approach to trying to prevent future problems as well as addressing current ones, and over the last year I have had some significant work using composite bonding to repair badly worn enamel on many of my teeth as well as whitening to improve their appearance. I am delighted with the results - not only do my teeth look much better, but the problems I was experiencing with sensitivity prior to treatment have gone.

I was away from home and needed emergency treatment. Karm treated me with the care and thoroughness I have come to expect of my own dentist and I consider my current dentist to be the best I have had in my long life.
