Worst place to deal over the phone. You should provide more training for the person who answer phone to book COVID Fit-to-Fly PCR tests. He didn't have the courtesy or patience to attend the query and was in a hurry to disconnect the call.

I can’t praise Glasgow Medical Rooms enough for accommodating my urgent request for a ‘same day result’ PCR test required for entry in to the States last week. The warm welcome from the reception staff was mirrored by the professionalism exhibited by the doctor taking the swab. My result arrived much quicker than anticipated allowing me to focus on my trip. I can’t recommend this private medical practice enough for any medical challenges you may face.

I've had many appointments over the last 5 years at GMR the last 3 years were over the phone and mostly with doctor O'Neil. The phone appointments were usually very short and on one occasion I was surprised when I looked at my phone to see that it had been under 2 mins long. The attitude was awful at times and I found the doctor to be rude and also disingenuous on occasions...certainly not always the stress free medical appointments I would obviously be expecting. On the day of my last appointment I was spoken to and treated in the most appalling way...the doctor must be deluded to think that was acceptable in any way. Also the doctor needs to be more clear with regards to there privacy policy and not to be letting people spend thousands of pounds when they might aswell have been going to there local gp.

This is my third visit and it won’t be my last. I already have another visit booked. Five star service from my first phone call to the professional, efficient, smart and absolutely lovely reception team. Nicola, Robyn and Kesey have looked after me so well. Appointment availability is fantastic having tried every other competitor to source travel vaccines. The premises are right in the city centre and are lovely. A huge thank you to nurse Sharon Heggie who is just amazing. I Didn’t feel a thing but as an experienced nurse both previously in the NHS and in aesthetics I knew I was in good hands. I’m so impressed that I’m going to change my normal company for aesthetics to the lovely Sharon. Don’t waste your time going anywhere else, Glasgow Medical Rooms are the best. Thank you so much.

I required to have a medical examination undertaken quickly for a work related move. Dr O'Neill and her staff were extremely accommodating and were able to get me booked in quickly. From the moment I walked in to the medical rooms I knew I was in good hands. Throughout my time at the medical rooms the staff and Dr O'Neill put me at ease. I can't recommend the Glasgow Medical Rooms highly enough. A special mention must also be made to Kirsten, who was brilliant and extremely helpful throughout.

After suffering for years with horrendous hayfever and trying every medication, spray, drops, air purifier I decided it was time to look into something else. I had heard about a kenalog injection and after researching local private clinics I came across Glasgow medical rooms. I emailed to see if they offered this treatment and got a really quick reply with some literature to read about it. I decided to go ahead after my life had been much debilitated for years of chronic hayfever. When I arrived I was given information on the possible side effects and was told that this was a strong steroid injection and should be a last resort which for me it was. I was told if it hadn’t worked in 3 weeks it probably wouldn’t work at all. After about 3-4 days I had already noticed a massive difference it was actually quite mind blowing. I keep expecting my symptoms to return but this has truly been life changing. I used to go to bed feeling horrendous and wake up feeling horrendous and generally tried to stay inside as much as possible. For anyone who has tried everything I would highly recommend this and this clinic! Top marks!!!! 🌟🌟

Dr O’Neill is caring, empathetic and considerate and I would highly recommend her as a GP. The staff at the practice are all super friendly and professional and I feel really at ease every time I step through the door.

From the minute we entered the building we were so disappointed. The reception staff were rude and unprofessionally dressed (wearing dirty trainers). They were unprepared for our visit and had no paperwork completed even although we had completed all that was requested online. We had to wait 30 minutes for our appointment, often being left with no dialogue from the staff. The fabric of the premises is poor and very tacky. It is not medical in any way - a money spinner. If I could have been able to get my vaccination elsewhere I would definitely not have gone to this place. Had I not paid a deposit, I would have walked out. Don’t think about going here.

The atmosphere even upon entering the premises was welcoming and calming. I am a very nervous person and the staff were so friendly it really put me at ease. The nurse I seen was so experienced and professional, it felt like I was being really listened to and guided in the right direction. The service I received here was fantastic and I can not recommend them enough!

I was met with a smile and warm welcome by the girls in reception, while they remained professional during check in. The Pre check nurse was very nice , easy to talk to , efficient and communicated well. The Doctor continued this professional approach while being friendly, making conversation and the whole process simple. If you need a checkup , work medical etc. go to Glasgow Medical Rooms.

Was in last week , staff were more than helpful . Nicola the practice manager went above and beyond to help with explaining my procedure and put me at ease , before I went for my surgery. Would highly recommend as Dr oneill was very professional from start to finish .

Immaculate interior, staff very well presented and helpful. Receptionist actually helped speed up my appointment time by requesting my paperwork from DVLA by fax rather than waiting on post.... We were pleased with the service at this clinic. We called in the morning and got a same day appointment. We were travelling from overseas and my husband needed medical attention. All the staff were friendly and helpful. He was ordered antibiotics and is feeling much better.

My visit to GMR was a really good experience, the reception staff we’re welcoming and helpful, waiting area was comfortable and relaxing. The doctor and nurse I had an appointment with were attentive and very professional which made me feel at ease.

Found GMR to be efficient and quick to give me an appointment time for a ENG1 medical. The reception staff, nurse and Dr S O' Neill were all friendly and helpful And made the whole process as simple and painless as possible And all in a calming non medical felling but clean and tidy area.

Was recently in to receive some physio work due to an ongoing injury due to a CrossFit competition. Kirsten was so helpful and accommodating due to my work/life schedule to make sure i was booked in and seen to at the earliest opportunity. Kirsten also put my mind at ease while i was here as she spoke to me and kept me laughing until my appointment that i was so worried about due to being in pain for so long. Chris Wicks was brilliant and have seen a massive difference in my ability, both inside and outside of the gym. Great Team.

I had a medical emergency and I called Glasgow Medical rooms who were able to fit me in that day to see the nurse. The girl I spoke to on reception shanice I think was her name was amazing and made me feel so at ease. Would highly recommended.

Been having a medical issue and after a Google search I found this practice very close to my hotel. From appearance at first I thought I was in the wrong place because it seemed to me that it was upmarket. I was fearful that I would be sent to the public hospital but I have to wait 45 minutes to see a doctor. The girl on reception was very helpful. Very comfortable seating. And an offer of coffee or tea, not something I have been offered by other practices.

Highly recommended. Second attendance in 2yrs. OGUK medical, fit to train and D & A. Professional, friendly and expedient. Good city location, 3 mins from the M8. Have recommended and will certainly use the GMU again.

The staff were so very welcoming and made me feel immediately comfortable! I got a little bag with some information about procedures they do and a little mini moisturiser in it too. The reception staff are very friendly and helpful, definitely great experience and if you need to ever go, please know you will have a great experience. The decor is beautiful and very comfortable place to be too. 10 out of 10 service :) I suffer from agoraphobia so they made my visit there very easy and I thoroughly enjoyed it

I recently attended Glasgow Medical Rooms to get a Kenalog injection for my hayfever. On the whole it was a fantastic experience. The staff were very professional and made me feel comfortable throughout. Furthermore, they were able to answer any questions that I had. I am Business Professional with a very busy international travel schedule. On a on a monthly basis I can typically travel from North / Central / South america to Asia and various locations throughout Europe. I found it very difficult to locate a medical facility that understood my situation. After much research I found the perfect place at Glasgow Medical Rooms Dr. Shelia was outstanding in understanding my situation. Outwith her medical expertise, she clearly understood the challenges I faced with my demanding travel schedule and the need to have a medical facility that was flexible to my needs. In addition, the entire team that works at Glasgow Medical Rooms are sincere, kind, professional and their communication is second to none. A special mention to the Practice Manager, Donna McMillan who leads by example, resulting what appears to be a flawless Practice.

The practice is generally ok but they are ALWAYS running late, hence only 2 stars. Given how much they charge, this is very annoying, especially if I'm on my lunch and pushed for time. Staff keep leaving so it's sadly not as friendly as it used to be.

Dr. O'Neill is by far the nicest most comforting person you'd ever want as your Doctor. I'd recommend her to everyone.

I attended Glasgow Medical Rooms after I had been struggling with a skin condition for a number of years. I had seen my own NHS GP and attend a skin clinic but was no further forward. I wanted to give one more try as it had really affected my confidence. I had an intial consultation with Dr O'Neil, where she prescribed me a combination of oral and topical medication. 4 months on and my skin condition has all but cleared. Dr O'Neil is really friendly supportive and easy to talk to. You never feel like the appointment is rushed like you do on the NHS. What I also found very different to my NHS experience was around treatment options. On the NHS the GP is limited to what they can do or prescribe. Where as I found with Dr O'Neil it was a discussion about what different treatments and options were available. I was also offered a referral to a dermatologist which I wasn't offered on the NHS. I can not speak highly enough about how well I have been treated here and how great the service has been. I now feel more confident and happy as a result of the treatment I received thank you Dr O'Neil.

I went to this practice 19/01/18. Dr. O'Neill professionalism outstanding, in my personal view a very caring doctor, she looked after me, as did her wonderful team. Having come up from London, and needed some medical assistance, Dr O'Neill was very professional and thorough. Awesome service I would definitely recommend and return if i ever needed medical assistance again.

Dr. Sheila O'Neill and her team quite literally saved my life. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Diagnosis of a serious condition that had been misdiagnosed by three hospitals took less than 2 weeks, including an MRI. Setting aside the professionalism, they are also just extremely nice people. Imagine a GP that truly cares and will be calling the patient after hours to see how they are getting on - that is what I got from Dr. Sheila O'Neill. There are no superlatives that adequately describe the service. Great. Fantastic. Superb.

Amazing experience for this American traveler! I was in Glasgow for work and feeling super sick. I called them on a Friday and they fit me in within three hours of my calling time. I saw a practitioner, who forwarded my info to a dr so medication could be prescribed. They handed the meds to me so I didn’t have to get it filled anywhere. I was in and out with meds in an hour. I know it’s private so it’s more expensive, but it was less than what I am used to paying in the USA anyway. This place is amazing and the front office ladies are wonderful! I was hoarse as a hog and they gave me a cup of tea while I waited! Brilliant!

As an American traveling abroad, I cannot say enough good things about my experience here. It was comfortable, warm and inviting: completely unlike any doctor visits I’ve had in the States or elsewhere in the UK. Dr. Sheila O’Neill went above and beyond to understand my needs, and she even directly phoned a nearby pharmacy to make sure my prescription was in stock so I wouldn’t have to go wandering through the whole city on foot. She took a genuine interest and asked thoughtful questions, allowing me to voice my concerns and feel heard. The fees were absolutely reasonable - less than I expected - and would’ve cost much more for this quality of care / attentiveness in America. I’m so thankful I found Glasgow Medical Rooms; if you ever need to see a doctor in the Glasgow area, do not hesitate! She’s the best.

I have been a registered patient at Glasgow Medical Rooms for just over a year. It is a fantastic service. Dr O'Neill is an excellent GP. She is very professional, attentive, and genuinely cares. Consultations never feel rushed. All staff are helpful and friendly. The Practice is also very flexible when it comes to appointment changes at short notice etc. Overall just an excellent service.

Needed PCR test for flight to USA last week. Professional, seamless and efficient service from Glasgow Medical Rooms ensured I had the necessary documentation to fly within 3 hours of having test. Superb service!

Wonderful service for the same day fit to fly PCR testing. My mum had already missed her first flight as she only had an antigen test, and we were extremely distressed having to find a last minute PCR express test for her new flight the next day. Despite the numerous calls to continuously reconfirm the type of test (we do apologise for the trouble!), the staff at Glasgow Medical Rooms never lost patience with us, and went out of the way to reassure us about the testing procedure. They used Randox which gave us the results in an hour after it was received at the lab. Thanks to Glasgow Medical Rooms and Randox, my mum is safely back home in our home country celebrating the New Year with our family.
