To sum up this wonderful cafe, I would use the phrase "Perfectly balanced". Let me paint you a picture... you're hungry, and in a new part of town, you have no idea where you want to eat, but you park up next to this small, and humble looking place called "Lois Cafe", you decide to take a chance. Upon entering, you give a subtle smile for their simple yet welcoming interior, the staff are nice, but not overbearing, you take a seat. You are given a menu, you notice the usual full breakfasts with your typical egg and bacon, you're debating the choice but then your eyes are captured by word "crepes". In particular you notice the words "Spicy Chicken". Now this small, seemingly typical cafe, has your absolute full attention! You order a Coffee to get wet your appetite, and once it promptly arrives the air is filled with the beautiful smell of freshly roasted coffee beans. You take a sip and are immediately entranced by the rich flavour, not too strong, not too sweet, just smooth and perfectly balanced, you now have a new favourite coffee in town. Once your crepes arrive, you notice they are perfectly pale gold, even your French girlfriend is impressed. They are evenly cooked and there is a great ratio between crepe, filling, and side salad. You catch a slight aroma from your meal, your mouth waters and you simply must try it immediately. You pick up your knife and fork, you cut your first mouthful, the knife glides across the crepes surface with ease, and you smile from disbelief, this seems too good to be true. You take your first bite, your mouth filled with flavour, the chicken is succulent, the red peppers are melt in the mouth, the spice is subtle, another perfect balance, you're in heaven. I could take more of your time explaining how wonderful the dessert was, the reasonably cheap price, or the fact we just had to take another coffee to go, but I'll leave that up to you to discover, and by my word it is worth discovering. The perfect little accident, started by giving a small cafe a chance. Rest assured I'll be back, very soon.

Beautiful small cafe in the west end of the city, friendly service and food was out of this world. Myself and partner stumbled across this place just looking for something to eat and so glad we did, the poached eggs and salmon were spot on and we will certainly be back for a spot of lunch again soon.

The best coffee in Glasgow I visited Elois Cafe again with my wife and my daughter for breakfast. We all were very happy with our breakfast choices. I hade Scottish breakfast & my wife hade Avocado with smoked salon and scrambled eggs on toast , my daughter hade pancakes with Nutella strawberries & Bananas. We really enjoyed our breakfast and the most special of everything it was the coffee. I highly recommend Elois Cafe and it’s amazing staff which are very friendly to anyone. Thank you Elois Cafe you really made my day .

(Translated by Google) Fan-tas-tic ! The perfect place to be after visiting the botanic garden. Peacefull and friendly with a wide choice of snacks, food and drinks. The atmosphere is really nice, good vibes and lovely service. I recommend! Wee hint: the omelette is great ... The perfect coffee after a visit to the botanical garden. The place is warm, the map is complete and the service impeccable. Added to that a service colorful, cheerful and generous. I highly recommend, if only for the delicious omelettes and very good teas. (Original) Fantastic ! The perfect place to be after visited the botanic garden. Peacefull and friendly with a large choice of snacks, food and drinks. The atmosphere is really nice, good vibes and lovely service. I recommend ! Wee hint : the omelette is great...

A friendly atmosphere for all ages [and families]. Somewhere to linger over delicious food. Service is prompt and friendly and prices are good [for the West End, value is excellent!]. Stand-outs are the Veggie Breakfast, the crepes, the minestrone and the pastas.

Went here for a late lunch today! Delicious food and friendly staff. Went for their lentil soup and also had a chicken crepe (I was really hungry 😂), both were fab. I loved the bread that came with the soup😍

Out of all the cafes at QM drive, this one stands out for me. Extremely friendly service who remember you when you come by often and the food is delicious. Every meal and coffee feels homemade and the atmosphere is so peaceful. This is a must visit if you'd like an italian lunch :)

They serve the Robusta bean coffee which easily competes with Dear Green and other artisan alternatives. Typically the Robust bean has x2 the amount of caffeine and those familiar with Bei&Naninni coffee will recognise the flavour instantly. The breakfast is first class. We both had poached eggs with bacon served on toasted bread. Beautifully cooked and presented. I would recommend any of the breakfast dishes and I know I’ll be back soon.

Tiny little cafe with good food and coffee for breakfast and or lunch. The guys that run it are always friendly and amazingly seem to remember everyone that comes in. Smoothies, eggs and avocado on toast, all the classics plus even more substantial options if you are looking for lunch. One of my favourites on Queen margaret Drive cafe strip.

Lovely scrambled egg on toast with perfect smoked crispy bacon. Then great double expresso with a superb Albanian milk based pudding and a homemade variation on tiramisu. Great place.

The service here is amazing. So attentive, quick and great attitude. The only reason I took 1 star off is that they were adverising coffee for student outside for 1.50 and I got charged regular price, but apart from that loved it here!

Lovely people run this cafe which is a refreshing change from the other over-rated cafes in the street. It feels roomy, nice quirky simple decor, solid tables that don’t wobble when you put your arms on it (!), and a good breakfast with excellent coffee. I wouldn’t mind a veggie sausage with my veggie breakfast and some mushrooms, but that’s my only suggestion! Oh it has mellow background music too.
