The Wee Pub at the Chip

Bar Pub

👍 Visited on Saturday afternoon, and it was busy but managed to grab a table when a group left. There is a great atmosphere in the pub and we enjoyed ourselves however there is only 1 lager choice offered which wasn't to our taste so personally I wouldn't go back as so many other pubs in area to choos... People often mention selection, good, Great, great, whisky, whiskey, atmosphere, friendly, staff, nice,

Wonderful little bar linked into the famous Chip Restaurant - nice place to stop for a drink or two while in the west end of Glasgow!

Super cute but small bar attached to the famous chip shop. Great whisky selection, good cocktails, only three beer taps. Can get busy.

Not a very large selection, as it is indeed a wee pub! But it's cute, great intimate atmosphere, and friendly staff.

This tiny pub, just a bit larger than a large parlor in a tenement house, is the perfect place to squirrel yourself and best buds, away for a pint, dram or both. A few beers on tap, and a couple of dozen types of whiskey make for a nice selection. Staff is friendly. If you manage to get a seat, you are lucky. Otherwise just find a spot to stand, get a drink and strike up a conversation with someone.

Snug, good whiskey selection and pleasant place to stop awhile. Went there on a Fri night, the rest of the bars were rammed but found an empty barstool here and a comfortable atmosphere so sat for a while, on my own, enjoying the reccomemded whiskey that the barman had expertly offered

A nice small Pub with a lot of different Whiskys and a nice selection of Gin. But they are definately concentrated on Whisky. The staff was really friendly, we have been the last guests for a nightcap.

I called in here with two female friends not seen in years (a local but now I live abroad). We enjoyed wonderful treatment and meal at Brell across the road and decided on the whiskey bar for a night cap.. as auld friends do. The young bar tender adamantly refused to serve me (looking at his phone, polishing the till etc 🙄) because I looked somewhat femme. I had to get my female friend to order drinks for the three of us - oh and yes, he accpted my payment - of course. In this day and age and especially in Glasgow's West End, I'd have thought LGBT awareness/acceptance was a given? Apparently not! The behaviour of this young man was sickening and an insult to me, returning to my adopted home town - I was glad to leave! I will not go there again and would not recommend it. because

Popped in for a drink, completely ignored by the staff member behind the bar…multiple people engaged and served as we patiently waited, walked out eventually. Terrible customer service.

Small, very small. Cosy, if you can actually get into the place. Not great for groups. Beer selection is small and expensive, over £10 for two drinks. Wouldn't rush back.

Would be 5 star except beer a bit limited on choice

Stopped off here after eating earlier in the chip. Lovely wee pub and met some lovely people. Only thing that let it down was the barman (dark hair and beard) who was miserable and quite rude and put a bit of a dampener on our evening

A relaxing small bar. The name is accurate. Part of the Ubiquitous Chip so good wines and beers. Relatively listed selection but loads more in other bits of the Chip. A marvelous range of whiskies. Fascinating to look at even for non whisky drinkers.

Small pub discovered by accident. Really nice inside, served some nice beers. Attached to a restaraunt that served good food no doubt. Worth a visit if passing.

Fantastic wee pub. Stunning display of quality whiskey from every part of Scotland. The barman who served us showed an exceptional knowledge and love of whiskey.
