I went here fir one of my sons soccer games recently. Nice park, good soccer and baseball fields. The park had plenty of parking and was clean. The park has a upper level in the front where you first arrive and then it winds around to lower level parking. It was a little confusing which field to go to and you can’t really see the lower level soccer field unless you know where you are going. I wish it was more clearly marked as you drive in, where the fields are. Maybe I missed something but nice park.

I am lucky to have this park near me. It is always kept clean and well maintained. It has a play ground, peaceful trails, access to Alcyon lake with a boat ramp, and many athletic fields; 5 stars.

Went fishing with my husband and our 9 year old son:) The area seemed pretty clean. A week or so ago someone dumped a bunch of garbage and that was all picked up since then so that was good to see.

Great park for some recreational fun. People are friendly here while passing by. I do wish what I think is supposed to be a water bowl (by the maintenance shed nested next to the bench) would have a hose for people to use to clean it out regularly to make sure the pups have access to clean water. Other than that great park.

Located adjacent to Carolina Blue restaurant, Alcyon has lots of places to walk/run, walk your dog or play disc golf. The golf course is in a wooded section of the park that can also serve as a simple hike for non-golfers. Word of caution: Do not take your dog into the disc golf area as there is a ton of broken glass throughout the woods. I think a lot of it is a result of its history as a place to party, prior to Pitman turning it into a golf course. Behind the golf course are several bean fields where you can take a long walk or bike ride. Or allow your dog to run unabated through the fields!

Nice park, but small. Baseball and softball fields are top notch. Very clean with a disk golf course.

This is a very nice park with athletic fields, a lake and areas for picnics. The park is very clean and the grounds are well maintained. There is ample parking and the park is close to downtown areas without the noise and traffic. Well worth a visit.
